Quick question do they have to be TOMS? Several other companies have copied their style. I got DD some at Dillards but she didn't like them so we exchanged them for converse . I know Sketchers and a few others are now copying the concept. HTH

I got three at my target today and I believe they were $29.70,(they are still in the truck and its raining so I will update later when I look) they are the really cool one with the dry erase outside (black) My store had five and I would have taken them all but the lady behind me was contimplating one, she ended up getting 2 I scored the good moisture control potting soil for $1.09 a bag (6 bags) School went 70% except for backpacks which are 30% and lunchboxes were still ringing 50% even though they had them on the 70% aisle (hate when they do that!) Pool toys were getting marked 50%-70% this morning at my store and swimsuits were 70% also. Trying to think of anything else but I can't...lamps did not budge in my store, or the college furniture (desk/chairs, ect) they were still only 30% I sure do miss that extra 5% and 90% Darn it ! On a side note I got my kids the UTZ butterfinger chocolate covered pretzels in the halloween section. 7.99 for a the box...the individual packages have THREE pretzels in them so BUY BEWARE. We buy the regular snyder individual pretzels at SamsClub and they have 15-20 pretzels in each package! I knew being chocolate covered they'd have less in each bag but THREE?!?!?! Thats insane IMO....and yes they are the smaller pretzels. REALLY discouraged that I paid $8 for them! Not a huge deal but thought I'd pass it along to anyone that would be bothered too...

At my store dry erase boards went STRAIGHT to 50% so I grabbed them the first day of markdowns. They didn't mark as many down as I was hoping for (the bigger ones) I got sprials for 0.10, I do not like thier filler paper though. most things are holding at 30%-50% here in NM as of yesterday 9-10 (we started back AUGUST 13th!!)

What a great idea, my kids seem to be alot different then the majority here, they get alot all the time :/ Bdays and Christmas is not that big of a deal becasue of that. I am not the only bad guy they have a grandma that buys all year too. My kids are also older 14,11 and 9. My oldest will be getting a new car a few months after Christmas.

They are orange triangles for sure they DO have orange stars as well. They are sets of jacks in net, 2 pk red/blue maracas, 4pk red/blue kazoos, 2pk of helicopter (stick with helicopter blade you twist in between hands and let go..), set of plastic army men, set of bigger plastic army men, chinese yo-yos, 2pk tops, 1pk larger wooden top. (that is just what I got there could have been more things ) Manager knew they were supposed to be pink dots and orange triangles, she would not have given me orange stars. ALTHOUGH I think its STRANGE that the stars are not on markdown as they seem to be summer items too :/ BTW my store was signed both saying "Orange Triangles and pink dots" and 70% so that helped my arguement that I really didnt realize was an arguement until I got to the register

oh and whoever tipped on the bubble microphones, THANK YOU. They were still with the full priced stuff and I would not have gotten any if you had not mentioned them!

OPPSIE, seems I scammed target by accident! I got alot of the "new" orange triangles (jax, kazoos, helicopters, army men, maracas....) for 0.30. They scanned $1 and I said "aren't orange triangles on sale", and cashier said yes but she had to call a manager over because I had so many (31) The manager agreed that they were supposed to be 50% and I quickly interupted 70%!! and she went to check the sign....then gave them all to me, hope I don't need to return though because she just scanned ONE item and then multiplied it saying the whole time she was NOT supposed to do it that way...(not that I'd return a 0.30 item, I'd just donate it to the school or something...lol) I really had no idea they were not supposed to be marked down though, they should make sure to clearance out one before bringing in another, way too confusing! I did however SAY to my daughter that I didn't remember seeing alot of it before :/ Opps! Anyways I am glad I went I got ALOT of things for my sons class for no money at all! I love those Dr. Suess rewards with the bookmark attached I got probally 10 packages of those for her and the reward buttons/keychains/necklaces too I also love those small girly tape measures so I picked up 3 of those too.

doesn't affect me much since I don't need any "hot" items. But I will say it will make a difference in where I go if I need something those few days after BF....I usually try to avoid all stores like the plague through the new year but I guess it will be safe to go to Target

Kindle runs on the Android market you can go to www.Amazon.com and take a look at all apps available. They do a free app a day and you can also download MP3s, movies, AND books/picture books! You can stream videos live from the prime store... I do not recommend dropping it of course but my kids have had their far share of drops and we are still good BTW I do NOT work for Amazon I just really, really, really love kindle and an option other then Apple

We own the 64GB Ipad with 4G(its expensive!) and while I let my kids USE it I stress out about it and they get sick of hearing me. That is why I like the Fire, I never stress about handing them one in public or around the house. I've relaxed a little with the Ipad but at first I swear I was JUST short of making them sign a contract in blood when they touched it
