Moral of the long story is candy is 50% and only heavily marked halloween stuff, costumes are 90% Decorations, food, ect are what they scan. Which seemed to be 50% and 75% except for papergoods that WERE ringing up 90%. And a halloween shirt that I was going to buy DS12 scanned FULLPRICE as did the Wilton "Zombie mix sprinkles" (which luckily I got BEFORE they stopped manually overridding things!.) So watch EVERYTHING at the register regardless of what signage says.

BTW Mine was pulling EVERYTHING that was not "halloween specific" icky body parts, chocolate pumpkins and candy corn they were leaving. They even pulled all the "dragons" stuff other people have been getting for 90%. They pulled the wilton sprinkles and black/orange melting chocolate and the macncheese for some reason too???? They left the Wilton candy necklace making kits and the candy suckers kits... My guess is those things they pulled won't make the floor again...which is probally what happened at your store.

GRRR @ walmart..why do they have to be so difficult with holiday markdowns..Get there and me and 1 other lady are the only ones on the aisle. Signs every 3ft on both sides of the aisle state 90% off all halloween. There are BIG BAGS of CANDY..BIG BAGS the huge 180count dum-dums ect. So I look at a walmart lady that comes up and ask EVERYTHING? And she tells me yes. I start piling up candy, TONS of wilton supplies....then manager comes up in suit talking on cellphone..and I over hear him saying ......something something "get somebody over here to PULL it I wonder how much this is costing us" but he never makes a move to pull anything (figured it was the unmarked candy (nothing halloween..even those BIG HUGE pinata type bags had 90% posted over them....) So I load up mostly I just got 5 bags of those dumdum suckers and figured I give a bag to each of the kids teachers to replenish their stash. I also got Dh some tootsie rolls and then the 2 bags of snack size M&Ms. MacNcheese and 2 boxes of those pretzels. The rest was costumes and Wilton sprinkles, chocolate disc and cupcake liners, candy making kits ect. Well a few minutes after manager that was too special for manual labor I guess... 5 employees come over and start literally running to take down signs! Me and the older woman who had been chatting, helping each other of course ask why and they say most of this is not supposed to be on sale and 90% is JUST COSTUMES and COSTUME accessories. We had been on that aisle picking for about 45mins!!! So we gang up and head straight to checkout and tell them that when we were standing there the signs said 90%...took some convincing but finally the manager told her to override everything to 90% but acted like she was doing us a huge favor. If it wasn't 90% we didn't want it KWIM....she rang up the first ladies who had TONS having to override EVERYTHING even costumes were just scanning 50%. Then she rang up mine..got halfway through and manager told her she could not longer override ANYTHING that it was what it was scanning I argued for half a second saying it wasn't MY MISTAKE and it was signed 90% but quickly gave up because it wasn't worth the fight and I had already gotten some things. But seriously what is the dang deal? They have to eventually go 90% right....I think that all the customers that had stuff BEFORE they took down the signs shoulda gotten it for 90% I did walk up to the service desk after checking out and they were all huddled talking about it and I politely made sure that our checkout lady was not going to be in any trouble for manually overriding things..because if she was they could return it all. They assured me that it was fine that it was a mixup that someone missread the email from cooperate this morning .....although I think it was more than that...I think some of the candy and things were not supposed to be there AT ALL but when the sign says 90% they should haveta honor it!

My MIL got me the persimmon one at Macy's for full price and it was worth every penny of HER money If you find a price you can live with JUMP on it..you won't regret your purchase. I have been looking for one for Dh's mom and like PP have mentioned Kohls with a 30% off code when its already on sale with free shipping always seems to be the best deal. Amazon is tax free though so always take that into consideration when ordered (plus you'll get it FASTER! ) Also check for current rebates....they have them out all the time

DD has all the Kelly and Friends collectible sets (Wizard of oz, Raggedy Ann and Andy, Golidlocks and 3 bears, Alice and Wonderland, ect about 20 different sets...) I LOVE them. But I will be the first to say I kinda like the new one (not the name change though!) I DO NOT however like the Blythe with LPS...to Bratz for my taste

I got the Mini B's 4 were on the Halloween aisle hidden inside the box of spider webs (probally took someone's stash ) I found the Halloween Polly Pockets on the regular PP toy Aisle

Steroes here were WEIRD some scanned 50% some scaned 30% (previously they were all 15%) I got theAudioVox set 30% for $55 (I wanted the old fashioned looking smaller one too but I opened it and it does not have a place to put CD's even though it says it plays them) I am guessing you haveta hook up a portable CD player to play CDS (does anyone even OWN one of those anymore??) Darn cause it WAS cute! I scored 4 costumes (cowgirl, magician (OMG the TOPHAT in this one is worth every penny of the $2 I paid!, scary quarterback, pirate all kids Med.) I also scored a bunch of the Barbie halloween pack...and 2 more polly pockets (0.40) No candy ANYWHERE! On a side note hit up Walmart and Kmart both still 75% (kmart has TONS AND TONS!) Walgreens was just 50% but she told me if I bought candy she'd override it to 75% (so STRANGE because they didn't have much candy left but TONS of halloween MISC stuff!, I got the TWILIGHT JACOB SWEETARTS for 0.15/box though.. And a bag of swedish fish not marked Halloween at all individually wrapped packages for 0.98! And Hobby Lobby is 80% Halloween and 66% all fall,harvest,thanksgiving (excluding papergoods only!) HTH

75% off at my store..not any candy in site (got enough at Target though so thats OK) I wanted a lifesize Jason for 75% ....seems the 4 they had at 50% just Friday sold

BTW my oldest is a VERY MATURE for his age 12 (13 in march) and I think his first thoughts would be WHAT THE HECK? But after he realized it was IceCream he'd be OK with it. Depends on the maturity of the child I think. I think with an 11yr old GIRL you could sneak it by even if they were mature but a very mature 11yr old boy would be different.....Does he enjoy cooking? Making things on his own? Blizzards in general? My oldest has been all electronics since he was about 7... OK I just asked DS12 going on 52...he said it would be ok with him because he got ice cream outta the deal as long as he didn't haveta act thrilled in front of all his closest friends.. and like I said he is very "non-toy"

My kids that asked for it are dd9 (10 in March) and just turned 7DS

FWIW my stores $50 Itunes giftcards are all over the store and at registers ANY of them ring up the $35 price and they are not limiting the amount purchases at the register..I went to electronics asked she gave me 3 and I picked up 3 more at the register and checked out. I then grabbed 2 more and checked out at the service desk (my mom called me and asked me to grab 2 for her) My store also still had 26" TV's and laptops (she said at least 20 left) I grabbed 2 laptops just because..if nobody I know needs them I will return them unopened Thank you OP

We have a Target within 40mi so I'll have to remember that... I got my Wii Remote charging station on Amazon for $20 and then got the Energizer one when we added 2 more remotes on Amazon for 15.99! I already got the anniversary DSXL outta the way and PS3 MOVE...my question is on GAMES...who usualy has the best BF deals (online since I have no in town stores!) for newly released games? I need Toy Story 3, EPIC DISNEY (which nobody has mentioned!!!!!!) It took all I had not to buy that red wiii just because it was red...we already own TWO wii's!
