Thomas trains! Both 3yr old boys I babysat last year LOVED them (one was autistic one was not)

We bought a reconditioned Ipod when DS12 broke his first "new one" (straight from Apple though) and I would have bet money it was brand new. I've heard Apple is an exception with reconditioned things though... Does it have a warranty? (Apple has the same 1yr warranty on refurbished items)

If you live in an area with lots of Wifi it will be fine but if not (like me) you need the 3G. I have a Kindle with Wifi and 3G. I can very rarely get a Wifi connection in my smalltown if I am out and about.

That is not true Amazon pays for 3G connection with the Kindle.

No problem KC-. Just make sure before you give it to her you go through and set up parental controls first. The DSI (both versions) have a Web browser and can "share" pictures. Make sure you set those up with what you are comfortable with :) Also if she has a birthday after spring the DSI might drop in price when the 3-Ds are released next year..... As for colors...my kids are more picky about colors then the type of system!! LOL (took me forever to find the "black/silver nano!"

So I see the DSI deals we are seeing (Sears and TRU) are on the holiday colors. Which is fine. My DD HAS TO HAVE GREEN! Just like my DS HAD TO HAVE MARIO RED in an XL. So I guess since she HAS TO HAVE green she'll get a DSI and not a DSIXL. (just like last year she HAD TO HavE GREEN...so she got the DS cooking bundle LOL) My question is when can I get the holiday colors if I don't mind paying fullprice/not getting a deal? Do you think they will only be offered starting black friday or has anyone spotted them in stores? I don't have a TRU anywhere near me and the Sears I have is 38mi away and a small store that does not normally carry DS'

The toddler beds and bedding seeem to be hanging at 30% and they've been there forever!

Usually they send a flyer in the mail to remind you at least they always have sent me one. Its actually kinda fun. And Jim is right you can make lunch outta it. Go hungry!

Honestly we currently have 5 versions in the house. Old Square DS, DS, DS lite and DSI and most recently (Monday) DSIXL. While the DSI/DSIXL is larger than the DS it is also heavier but I don't think its large enough to say its not portable. DS has is DSI with him or I'd picture them together (only size difference is when you open it and the screen is quite a bit larger) Here is the DS and the DSIXL together though....of course its size also is caused by it doing so much more....Is your DD asking for a specific COLOR if so that might makes your decision right there....DS wanted a MARIO RED XL...DD just wants a green one (either DSI or XL) and so far I've only seen green in DSI not XL unfortunatly because I'd rather buy the XL given the screen size and price... http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs948.snc4/74168_164178326947884_100000671529598_360338_1502142_n.jpg

So am I undertanding this correctly....we will have ONE day that 30%, FREESHIP AND Kohls Kash overlap????? OMG I will be in HEAVEN since I have $70 in Kash to spend....I better start loading my cart!! I have used percent off codes with Kohls Kash online before so I would think it would work the same online WHOOOHHHOOOOOOOOOOO!

Thought I'd add this to this thread. I BROKE My KINDLE TUESDAY NIGHT! I was devestated. I DID it..it has nothing to do with Kindle itself. I called Amazon Wednesday and they are sending me one out overnight with all my previous content already downloaded into it.....I just have to send back my Kindle in original box. No questions asked and yes they knew it was my fault. Kindle has a full 1yr warranty. Also I thought it was neat that my warranty is still in affect from my FIRST kindle I bought..BUT if your towards the END of your warranty and have to send it in..they extend the warranty to 90days from the time you recieve the new one... I thought I'd have to send MINE off to be repaired....and that I'd loose my content. I never expected them to overnight me a new one and pay for return shipping !!! I <3 Amazon and I <3 Kindle

Amazon has the anniversary edition mario red DSIXL with mario cart for 179.99 which is like getting the game for $10...plus the Mario RED DSIXL has 25th Annivesary and 3 mario symbols on the front (its neat looking) We got ours in on MONDAY and the screen on the XL really is a BIG difference in size. But take into consideration its also a little heavier.. This is the best deal I've found unless Walmart or Amazon do something for Black Friday (which its my prediction they WILL but it will be on the DSI not XL... Sears has a BF deal on the DSI but I am not for certain what exactly it was (I don't do lines on Black Friday believe it or not....I'd rather spend $10 more dollars...)

Its giving me 30% video games (lots of games on sale for 19.99) doesn't it usually exclude them (was goin gto get the Kitchaid Blue mixer for GMIL but surcharge makes Amazon's cheaper by pennies...cannot decide if I want to get this one for the Kohls cash though....decisions,decisions!

Also I posted this in the Target thread but I got the Monster high electronic diary for 50% on clearance at Target making it 12.xx few weeks I could find the dolls EVERYWHERE....now they are all gone again! Even the 2 packs now!

I am a tad disappointed in the video game offers, LACK OF DSI OFFER!!!!(not even a bundle?!!?!), Ipod offers and toys (which might just be a sign of my kids getting older but seriously no ZOOBLES? or any of the HOT TOYS?) I was hoping for a decent price for the Razor Motorcycle and Razor moped too (although I think I might have gotten a hint that WALMART will have a Razor moped deal) I might go in semi early to try to get some of the household items for a friend that was recently divorced and has NOTHING to show for her 10yrs of marriage Portable DVDs are a good deal. TV deals are good but we've been set on LCDs for a long time now......

Yep the entire reason I stopped ordering for a long time was the shipping issues but its all better now. I DO wish you'd offer more FREE shipping if you spend a certain amount. I'd order more if free shipping was involved (Amazon brat, sorry!)

kohls very QUICKLY became my favorite store LOVE THEM BTW BEFORE they started accepting Kohls cash online I'd email them and they'd let me use mine online. I'd have to place my order, pay with Kohls card in full then they'd credit my account for the kohls cash after I emailed them my information on the back of the Kash.....I was leary to do it that way at first but they credited me very quickily (literally within 24hrs!) They have AWESOME customer service!
