I got a small bottle from hobby lobby for 8.99 but I used a printable 40% coupon from their site to make it 5.30ish..it goes a long way. Next trip I will buy the bigger bottle which is about 3x this bottle and its 19.99 (will use another 40% printable) I don't have a Micheals but I am sure they have it to...At my HL it is in the section with the stained glass stuff. HTH BTW I have also seen it on Amazon if you cannot find it in store

Yes I have cooked in it, if you use the right product it actually eats the surface of the glass, changing the glass itself not just putting something on the surface. There ARE some glass etching things that are just surface so make sure you get the right kind. I have started to wonder if you put a COLOR in the stuff if it would leave a color? That is something I might experiement with...dang I should have kept that glass from the picture frame I broke the other day

I usually lock myself in a room and it can take me HOURS, talking 5-6hrs. I am one that buys all my wrapping paper, tissue paper, hanging tags and make my own bows though :)Thi year I even bought those nice cardboard boxes from Hobby Lobby in all different sizes too. I like my gifts to look nice when people recieve them. I think every year I am going to wrap as they come in but then I just figure its easier to do it in one shot with the room a mess with all it takes to get it done. One day, one cleanup.

BTW thought I'd add that Target has the 3 pc. Anchor Hocking cassorole set for $15.xx this week in the ad. These are all 3 nice sized dishes, non of those teeny things they try to put in things that nobody really ever uses. Also Hobby Lobby has 50% off all glass. I got some cool candy type canisters I am going to etch for our teachers :) for 2.99!! (the are pretty large too regular price 5.99)

I only scored 8 tissues, I left the Ninja Legos at my store because they just had the guy? BUT.....I found SQUINKIES...I bought 12 sets @ 0.39! They were on the regular aisle. The only difference is the top portion is PURPLE instead of pink. I got 2 different fairies and something else but they do not look halloween to me...it does say "spooky" in one corner of the package, I will have to bring them in and look at them closer because I am hoping to be able to Angel tree them (3 different sets per child...) I got 2 cupcake decorating kits, the wilton pans, the make your own gummy rat (eww but boys will LOVE it!) orange/black striped tights (those are our towns team colors so DD will wear them all year!) My best score was in the girls dept CHECK I found a whole endcap of halloween clothes including the tulle skirts! I bought one in each color for every girl I could think of! I also got a few shirts for 0.59 and a Hello Kitty Halloween shirt for 0.79! I also got two gigantic orange serving bowls for 0.20. They had tons of those halloween tubs left but I didn't need any. Mostly costumes now that I cleaned them out (and those fancy candy corn flavors, I was good and did not bring any of those home) My store also still has an entire section in foods of halloween Mac N Cheese (0.14) I stilll have a stockpile so I didn't get any! Worst news is that I was part of the "team huddle" today (lol they were on the aisle I was on) and the manager said ..."condense all halloween but don't worry about it too much because it all goes away after today" So I am guessing Halloween is salvaged tomorrow..

I found the tissues in the regular section, they do not look halloween at all. Look for anything that says "laura ashley" collection. Also the target brand I found a few of too, these do look more "fall" with orange/yellow leaves and acorns? (I think acorns)

DH list for me : A bengal kitten (thats all I want and I will wait until after christmas for it if I have too) My mom and MIL and Step MIL also ask me for a list, this one is harder Kindle giftcards SD cards ....see I am drawing a blank The rule is it has to be something that is only used for ME and they won't get me giftcards that could be used on the kids either....Limit with my step mil is about $200, Limit with my mom is WHATEVER (lol) but I try to stay around $100 because she has 12 grandkids to buy for , Limit with MIL is $50 but I try to stay in the $20-$30ish range...

I just started doing some ETCHING. The last thing I made was a pyrex casserole dish with our last name etched on it. I am definatly doing some of those as gifts this year because it turned out so great. I think its a great idea to be creative during the holidays :)

I think I'll head back today and clean out tissues and donate them to the school, might as well since they will salvage them soon anyways. I only picked up 6 boxes for myself the other day.

I am very obsessive compulsive and while I know by researching them that sometimes the drawers have MORE freezer space then the side by sides I don't like the disorganization of them. Both the ones I deal with at our cabin and at my mom's have one drawer than seperates into two storage areas. But with everything stacked It drives me nuts. My moms does not have water/ice in the door so the ice takes up space in the freezer (does have an ice machine) but that and the ice bucket/catcher takes up almost 1/2 of that drawer space! The one at the cabin does have ice/water in the door. Both seem to have larger doors that are really heavy and when filled with condiments can slam OPEN or SHUT depending on what you are trying to do. My DH loves them and claims yet agian its just my "habit" of not wanting to change things that makes me hate them. Home Depot literally had ONE side by side in stainless...the rest were the drawer kind So I will just keep mine, its still works fine anyways.

Yep I paid over $1500 for my stainless (no fingerprint) side by side. We were looking for another one the other day and was VERY disappointed that they all mostly have the drawer freezers now. I don't like those! (thats what we have at our cabin and at my moms and I dispise them)

We bought our first half gallon on Halloween. We have been through 5 half gallons total. I picked one up at sam's last night and it lastest exactly 3hrs in this house. Dh hates it and so does my oldest son. I think this is the only edible thing that my picky, non eating 10yr old DD says she "loves". I will say that suprisingly enough I absolutly cannot drink alcoholic eggnog.

Dh went the zune route too He has the 32GB I am suprised in how much they have come down in price!
