We started out my kids with the Nano (when it was the larger version) They were 5 and 8 at the time and now 8 and 10 and they are being upgraded. They have held up no problems. If you could find one of them refurbished it would be my first choice for a starter IPOD.

IMHO the smaller GB would be fine for them. Can I ask why the Xbox? I would think there would be a bigger GC offer on BF but then you'd run the chance of not being in line fast enough to grab one. If your Amazon account does not charge you tax (I am in NM and don't get charged tax by amazon) I would think that would be a great incentive to go with them (we have a pretty low tax rate and it would save me nearly $25!). Plus free shipping Also maybe browse the used games section of Amazon, I've never had any issues with buying used games on there before :)

we have the white out wild eyes they are VERY hard to wear. They are so thick! I am an everyday contact wearer (actually nights to, I wear night and days) and they really bothered my eyes They CAN be worn with no correction though.

I don't think the actual system will be cheaper but instead you will see bundles with hot games or extra controllers, ect. We've have had ours since the release date of PS3 and I am kinda keeping an eye out for a deal too for a JIC system. We use it for blurays too.
