Both of my Chi's I use daily have temp controls...one is a rotating dial and one is a sliding one. I don't remember if my small one has temp control...and yes I commented on the curve part

I love my chi, but that's all I have ever known. That is all my hairdresser will use as well. With the cheap irons you cannot get close to your scalp. I don't see how this "volumnizing" Chi is any different then the others though honestly. All mine are curved like that. I think the main thing to remember when styling with a straightener is the LIFT up not pull straight down. I think people consintrate too much on the straight part and not the lift part. And with an inverted bob the only way to get GREAT lift is to go old skool and back comb your roots Also remember after lifting your roots with a straightener and backcombing that your FINGERS are you friends...don't comb or brush your hair into place, use your fingers :) BTW I'd get the printed one...too cute :) Oh and the Chi probally gets ALOT hotter then your current one so be careful...mine all have the felt on the outside, not so sure I'd want just plastic on the outside but like I said this is all I have ever known

I own THREE Chi's in different sizes. One I have had for 6yrs with no issues. I have tried the instyler at my salon and I think I could get it after alot of work...I just don't have the time a patience to deal with the work part. And I feel its more for longer, curly hair

HaH I don't have a Cricut, I did have one this time last year and HATED it , hated that thing more than I can express LOL It was the user not the Cricut just so you guys know. I sold it in a garage sale for $25 bucks. So this years etchings have been done using premade stencils or handmade stencils. I have used, a few vinyl stickers. If you have a good craft store there are plenty of options. If you use vinyl/stickers they can really only be used once anyways.

I would have NEVER bought them off TV, both kids asked for them. I have two big rules with my kids....and one of those includes decorating..their room but MY house..things must coordinate. So fast forward. Mom got my youngest Texas Rangers "Captain" pillow pet for his bday to match his room...he LOVES it..sleeps with it everynight, carries it to sleepovers and has taken it to school on pj days....I still wouldn't have bought it but glad my mom did! The others are just a smaller/travel sized pillow ..they have them at target now if you can stop by and just check them out.

I would say pocket calenders or pens, those are things that I actually KEEP when salesmen give them to my DH And I like the travel coffee mugs too.. What about baseball caps or beanies? Those might be pricey though, I was looking at them on Vistaprint the other day for Dh's company but I don't remember exact cost...... BTW I know a pretty awesome Gottadealer that does custom embroidered golf towels and tote bags

And I like the blue Wii BUT I will say the Mario red one is my favorite...I have the boring white one from release day in 2006 too, nice best buy gave me one an employee had set back...Nice BB boy only learned I was married with 3 kids AFTER I checked out HAHA my mom was with and still gives me HELL about that one

My husband is a Consultant for his own consulting firm, which means yes he is on location with oil wells. But he has his own trailor (not camper trailor actual full kitchen, 3 bdrm, 3 bath trailor) He has satilliete TV He is on location for 14 days straight day and night. Every money making decision has to go through him. So yes he has alot of time on his hands and since he is gone so much and the accomodations are pretty darn good (he even has a maid service and food delivery person ) me and the kids go out and stay with him alot (more in the summer) so its nice to have things to entertain them too...He is currently about 4hrs from home. Anyways I figured a Ps3 could be a dvd/bluray/game player all in one shot! Well worth the 199 if you look at it that way
