I walked into Walmart with about six flyers yesterday. Most of the items I planned to price match had already been marked down about a penny below the competitor's sale price. Those that weren't marked down I had no problem getting a price matche. The cashier was very friendly. I saved a bundle between price matching and using coupons for those items. The cashier said they usually drop their price as soon as they find out a competitor is cheaper. I'm not surprised Sears doesn't accept manufacturer coupons. They don't seem like the type of store that would.

I got the antibacterial soaps 4/$10 last Monday. They had two Christmas-y looking designs plus their regular scents. I grabbed two each of the Christmas designs. They make great stocking stuffers or last minute gifts.

Same here. I've only ordered from them once. They were ok but the Hong Kong thing threw me for a loop. I used a brand new credit card to pay for my order and my card company put a hold on my account, then called me on the phone to verify the charge. The Hong Kong thing raised a red flag for them. This is a cool deal. I'm making a calendar for myself right now.

I only use Old Navy but yes, it's always incredibly slow for me.

I just did the Circuit City deal. $147 w/tax. I got the Wii Fit, storage tote and exercise mat. Done.

You can find a Wii Fit in stock online if you search hard enough. The thing is the stores have the prices jacked up so high it's ridiculous. I found a bunch last night but I won't pay $170 for one, especially when it's from an obscure store I've never heard of.

No handheld system games. Bummer.

Right after Halloween last year I got a long sleeve Halloween tee for my daughter for only 75 cents. It's solid black with a cat on the front and she's wearing it as part of her costume this year (she's going as a black cat). Gotta love cheap costumes!

OK, I just made a purchase after much debate over which of the many clearance items to choose from. I finally decided on a white clearance tee and a blue cable sweater that's on sale (but not on clearance) for my daughter and a long sleeve thermal top (clearance) for my son. I got all the way through checkout with everything showing up as being in stock. I got to the last screen after my order was submitted and it said the men's shirt is out of stock. I'm glad it wasn't one of the items I picked out for my daughter because I bought them to go together but still, two out of the three things I put in my cart were clearance and now just the one little $7.99 tee got the discount. Bummer. I still got a good deal on both items and I paid less than $4.00 for shipping. One gift down.

I was at the Cracker Barrel store tonight and all their Christmas stock is 70% off. For about $20 I picked up two cute snowman cookie jars, 2 snowman sectional serving dishes and a snowman ornament (total $66 original price). All their Christmas stockings are $1.50 and they're gorgeous. They look handmade. They also had Yankee Candle Christmas scents discounted. The store I was in was very well stocked and the employees were bringing even more out of the back room. I actually made two trips into the store.

Before Christmas Walmart had Duracell 2 packs of AA and AAA for only 94¢. It was cheaper to buy them that way than to get a multipack. I don't know if they have any left. I stocked up on batteries before Christmas knowing some people don't include them with their gift.

I can't buy a tree without seeing it IRL first. The prices are great right now but I'd be afraid I'd end up with something really ugly.

I thought I'd see a ton of Christmas clearance sales in the paper today. I was hoping to find a tree for next year. There was pretty much nothing. I think the stores are desperate for one last hurrah before they close on Christmas Eve. I was in Kmart this morning and the store was pretty dead for 2 days before Christmas.

It only got a 2.2 rating on a scale of 1-5. I wonder why. That's a good price but I want to know why customers don't like it (other than the obvious upside down thing).
