  1. I ordered this item online from Radio Shack yesterday. You also get $10 coupon (by email) for every $50 spent and free shipping for orders over $50. I added another small item to my cart to bring the total over $100 so I expect to get $20 in Radio Shack coupons soon. I'll give them to my husband so he can use them towards a cell phone upgrade. (hopefully the fine print doesn't say it excludes cell phones)
  2. Hate to be a downer, but those look like those cheap "magic gloves" you can pick up at Walmart 2 pairs for $1.00 (except they don't have the tech part to them). I use them for driving because they're cheap enough to replace every year but they're not warm enough for being outside for an extended period of time.
  3. I bought it yesterday morning on Amazon for $29.99. I knew the lightening deal sale was coming up but I was afraid I'd forget about it or it would sell out before I got online. As it turns out I was online at the time and almost cancelled the first one to save $4.99. I decided against it because it said it might be too late to cancel and I don't want to deal with returns just to save $5.00. I'm okay with that. It's cheaper than $39.99 (and it's still $29.99 for anyone who missed the lightening deal).
  4. I don't see the appeal but I guess if you're 12 he's pretty hot. (no offense to anyone here - my own daughter loves him too). It's $8.00 on Amazon. Justin Beiber My World
  5. Ok, I managed to submit the code and it took 25% off the two $5.00 doorbuster items and applied free shipping, then the site went down again. I'd really hate to be in the middle of submitting my order and have the site go down. I'm not even going to bother for two small items I don't really need. They lost a sale.
  6. The site was up long enough for me to put two $5.00 items in my cart and now it's down. Grrr. I hate when websites can't handle Thanksgiving weekend traffic.
  7. First Lady, they may put more on the site within a day or two. I'd been watching them on the Apple site all last week and was holding off on buying. On the day I decided to get one they were gone. I thought for sure I'd lost my chance at a decent deal. The next day they were back in stock again so I bought one as soon as I saw it.
  8. Mine showed up about 2 hours after I posted today! Yay!
  9. Holy crap. I just checked the tracking info again to see where it is and it's "on FedEx vehicle for delivery." I shoud get it today! That was fast! (the tracking info has an estimated delivery date of the 30th so I wasn't expecting it until next week)
  10. Same here. When I checked the tracking info it had shipped from China and was in Hong Kong. Everything is made in China so why not refurb it in China too.
  11. I paid .45 lb for a Riverbend turkey at Walmart last week. When I went back a couple of days ago the price had gone up to .68 lb. I'm glad I grabbed one when I did.
  12. These are in stock again. I just ordered one.
  13. I just bought three pairs of young men's skinny jeans from Hot Topic for my son. He's very slim so "regular" jeans look baggy on him. He got tired of the baggy look because most of his friends wear the skinny jeans. The ones I got him aren't super tight - they look normal on him because his legs are thin. It took awhile to get used to seeing him in them. And yes, they do make skinny jeans for men. The majority of teenage boys wear men's sizes. Skinny jeans are pretty popular in my area.
  14. My Walmart has had $1.00 clearance racks for the last few weeks. It's mostly the same stuff that's been on clearance forever (a lot of Miley Cyrus clothes) so it's not really moving.
  15. Riverbend turkeys have been .45 lb. at my local Walmart since last Saturday (they were .92 lb the day before - I've been watching for the price to drop). I picked one up early yesterday morning. They had two freezer cases filled with them. I've been getting better deals on other stuff for my meal at the local grocery store by using coupons with their sale flyer.

  17. 20% off your total purchase including sale items through 1/30/10. Printable coupon below. http://gap.m.delivery.net/w/webView?cid=16322132008&mid=1919514891&pid=783982&vid=3&ee=YTE1MTg0MjNAdWdnc3JvY2suY29t&si=&mv=H&bv=H&oc=N&sc=&k=1oQNaB
  18. Amazon is offering the Mr. Heatmiser song as a free mp3 download! I couldn't resist getting it for myself. http://www.amazon.com/Mr-Heatmiser/dp/B001L4J726/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1260914637&sr=1-1
  19. I was in the outlet store today and they had one in stock for $19.99. Even with the 25% off (in-store) coupon I had in my hand, you guys are getting a better deal. It doesn't look like it's worth $100, but it's a cute comforter for a preteen or teen girl. I'm tempted to get one but I'm done with my shopping.
  20. One thing you may have to watch out for is if they set you up for automatic renewal. That happened to me with my last subscription to Good Housekeeping. I paid for the renewal, then I went into my online account and disabled automatic renewal.
  21. The small print on the bottom of the page says Hearst Magazines division. That's the publisher so I assume there's no catch. My guess is it's for new subscriptions since there's no place to check off that it's a renewal.
  22. Damien9104, the two-tone is $14.99. The regular is coming up as $9.99 for me. My DH and DS only wear full zip hoodies otherwise I'd probably get this.
  23. I wouldn't count on it. It's coming from overseas and shipping is very slow.
  24. I just got done creating and ordering my $4.99 calendar from Artscow. It took me about 6 hours to create (I'm a scrapbooker and I want it to be perfect...lol) but I know it'll be well worth the time spent when it arrives. I bought one last year and my whole family loves it. Just tonight before I sat down to work on it my husband asked if I'm getting another calendar for next year. We're very impressed with the quality. I was so happy to find this thread with a code so I could make one for 2010. Does anyone know if you can use the code twice? My daughter wants to make one but I didn't want to wait until hers is done to order mine.
