I bought two of them for my son and daughter. They still have them online because some Walmarts are still carrying them. But according to two different Walmart associates at two different stores, they discontinued it and are trying to get rid of it. In June or July they had an announcement that the prices were being dropped to $99 (saw this on several websites). Toys R Us likes to bring back stuff that is discontinued and put them on sale for cheap. But otherwise Gamestop has them used for $79 right now and the prices should drop for BF. They have so many DS's that are out right now DSI, DSI XL, and 3D one, that no telling what the price will be this year for the DSI.

I was wondering about those too, I don't want to preorder it, because the shipping almost costs more than the little crab (at TRU.com). The crabs are selling for $9.99 and the shipping is $6.11. I'm wondering if they will be at other stores or can you buy it at the actual TRU stores not just online?

Another thing for all those who are waiting to buy things on Black Friday, just remember that if you wait you might come up empty handed. So at least buy the item before Black Friday and see if you can get a price match or buy another one and return the first one. Two is better than none.

I started shopping for my kids 2 weeks ago. The problem I ran into last year was not finding the right price, it was finding it in stock. I bought the DS Lite for two of my kids and they were $99. They are discontinued so it was very hard to find them, back in June they officially dropped the price to $99 so don't pay more than that. I couldn't find them online, I found one in Walmart and one in Target. As far as the DSI and the 3D one I think they will probably have bundle offers and gift cards, but the price might not drop that much. I saw that a lot last year. The same thing with the Ipods. I would look at the refurbished ones, I bought a refurbished ipod touch last year to replace one that I bought in the store that broke after 6 months. Buy refurbished whenever you can, I've never had problems with anything refurbished that I've ever bought. Hope this helps.

I wouldn't buy that only because the memory is too low. You need at least 1gb. Most people upgrade their netbook to 2gb and they say that it runs better and faster. I picked up the one that is $228, the Acer AOD257-13473. It has pretty good reviews, but since it is a Christmas present for my daughter, I can't personally tell you how good it is.

Wow me and hubby just went down memory lane. I can't believe how much things have advanced and become more compact. Nowadays they want everything to fit in your back pocket.

For those who are looking for monster high dolls, check the actual stores, i.e. Target, Walmart, and Justice. They are much easier to find than online. I just came from the Justice store and Draculaura, FrankieStein, and Clawdeen wolf were all there. The store Justice seems too get more in stock than anyone else and online Justice also pops up alot with MH dolls. Justice also has the outfits, diary, book, and long sleeve t-shirts for kids. Make sure you print out a 40% off coupon when you go and you can use online also.

I am also disappointed with their stock, it's not just on hot toys, it's on most items on my list. If I do find it, the shipping is equivalent to the actual product or very close to. I'm not a big fan of the free shipping when you reach a certain dollar amount either. If my cart is $24, I don't want to surf the site looking for things I don't need or want so that I can get free shipping.

Toys R Us is your best bet. Also Amazon as far as online. But at TRU I have actually seen the plush dolls and videos in stores.

Do they have any good deals in it, is this another toy catalog?

The $5 giftcard for spending $50 in toys was a giftcard that was on the toy catalog that was mailed out. It's not in the stores and not automatic, you had to hand them the giftcard so that they can hand you another giftcard for future purchases.

I wonder if they will be offering free shipping with no minimum purchase? I only have a few things to pick up.

There is a monster high necklace that my daughter saw on youtube, do you know if they had that necklace at your justice store? It looks really cute for a stocking stuffer.

What does everyone think of the v-motion learning system for $19.99? I've heard terrible reviews on it about them not lasting beyond a year but the kids love them. What do you think good buy or pass?

NOOOOOO!!!! Out of Stock I was planning on buying the 8gb (refurb) from apple for my daughter. I'm going to have to start jumping on deals when I see them and stop waiting for the price to drop lower.

No ipods come with a power cord, you can buy separately. The USB cable is what you use to charge ipod and dowload songs until you get a separate docking station or power cord for home outlets, trust me they have tons of accessories for ipods. I would buy a separate dock like one that has a speaker if you don't want to keep hooking it up to your computer. As far as the dock adapter, I'm pretty sure I threw that away accidentally not knowing what it was. Apple ipods don't exactly come with real manuals. Your kind of on your own trying to figure out its capabilities.

They could have kept that. I like there previously viewed movie deals that they have, but that's an everyday thing. That's where I get all my dvd's from.

Our Target stores (I shop at 4 different ones) have been having the display with tv monitor for over a month now if not longer, and they never have the dolls in stock, just the plush ones and Cleo De Nile $29 set, oh and the fortune tellers. I will say that I have collected three different ones (Frankie Stein, Lagoona Blue, and Draculaura) from Target when I went on a weekday morning (find out when they are doing toy stock) and I found the Clawdeen Wolf doll at TRU first thing in the morning on Sunday, there was only one and it was shoved to the back. Also you might want to check your larger chain grocery stores, we have a grocery store out here called H-E-B and they had a display case full a few weeks ago, also they had the Stinky the Garbage truck for $44.99 regular price. Grocery store chains don't really advertise their toys they'll just be on an endcap. Kroger's if you have one had the Tangled Rapunzel doll for $9.99, it's the same one WM has in its ad for $12.

I hope WM has a better ad, with new (updated) toys. Getting a little annoyed here. What are they going to break out the "real ads" on December 24th?

I didn't really notice any of the hot toys in their ad either, I thought they would have more geotrax sets, seems I can't find that on sale to save my life. No zooble, dance star mickey, monster high, stinky the garbage truck, etc... I hope they will have these things on one of their weekend or daily sales that they have been having. I want some of the stuff they have on "Black Thursday", but now I am wondering if it is worth the trip. I did notice that a lot of the things they have are the same price as when they do their 2day (Friday-Saturday) weekend sales. Wondering how WM is looking on the toy front.
