  1. But I guess that's life when you have a 3 year old. When I came home from work... I found my laptop on the bricks next to my fireplace... which I would never set it on... some minor scratches on the side and on the bottom... nothing to affect functionality... but still... it is no longer perfect.
  2. The HP I bought from Walmart last year came with a recover disk... but my HP from Best Buy this year didn't. I burned them though.
  3. The other day I was scoping out Best Buy and I saw that they sell projectors in Home Theater and in the Computer section... which section do you think I should run to when the doors open. (This is a non-ticket item.)
  4. BECAUSE IT IS CREATING COMPETITION FOR ME IN MY QUEST FOR A LAPTOP!!!!!!!
  5. Pioneer makes excellent head units. I would say... you can cheap out on the AMP (I am talking swap meet, not cheap Best Buy) and the subs (Duals blow out easily though), but your door, and rear "highs" need to be quality... and the head unit needs to be quality. I am running: Pioneer CD Player MB Quart Components powered from a 4-channel 700 Watt DHD Amp. 2 12" Polk Momo Subs running off of a Legacy 2000 Watt Amp. Sounds decent for the prices I paid.

  8. BUZZZ! Wrong! The Best Buy ad states that the Price Guarantee does not apply on BF!
  9. I suggest if you want a good quality bike... you should spend more than $100 on it.
  10. None of the threads seem to address this: If I am going for a Laptop and get a ticket for that, can I get a ticket for a Desktop too? Or is is 1 door buster per person?
  11. That's pretty slimy and I'd report that person to an employee of the store...
  12. It is not on the website. It is a special model made for BF only.
  13. The margin for retailers is very small... but Apple themselves makes a killing from them.
  14. That is why I carry a pocket knife with me on BF!
  15. I can't believe you people haven't stated the obvious... ... maybe an umbrella?
  16. HP has Lightscribe in a lot of their DVD/CD burners... they have the ability to burn the disc... AND print a label DIRECTLY onto the disc. You have to buy special lightscribe compatible discs though.
  17. Hmmm.... you have inspired me... Freddy Kruger just might be in the Best Buy line in Phoenix.
  18. Do you think Best Buy management would complain? So far I am bringing a folding chair, and a sleeping bag... but the grill would be good to cook up some hot dogs and marshmallows...
  19. ... if more casual shoppers learn about "tricks" and "secrets" to BF shopping on TV news story, then that means more competition will show up in line at Best Buy, WM etc. Making it harder for us to get our doorbusters.
  20. I am hoping for intergrated Firewire... that way I can get a PCMCIA TV Card... or maybe a Bluetooth card.
  21. I have never done BB on BF, because I always go to Walmart. But this year I am doing BB for the $379 laptop... QUESTION: If me and my brother get into line early... (I wanna be near the front), can my friend swap out with my brother? My brother is the temporary place holder for my friend... who can't join me in line until about 2 hours after I get into it. My friend shows up, and my brother goes home... Do BB people have a problem with that?
  22. My 2 year old plays Vsmile (it actually belongs to his 4 year old sister). He can understand games where he needs to match colors.
  23. Fry's Electronics usually has excellent closeout deals on phones going EOL.
