hmm... may have to make a trip to Costco....

I know this has been discussed many times, but I can't remember the answer or find it on their website. I bought some sheets online, but they are totally the wrong color now that they arrived and i want to return them. I used my $30 Kohls cash and paid the remaining amount with my credit card. Will i get an in-store credit for the amount of the Kohl's cash or do I just lose it? (Their website only seems to address returns for items that had earned you kohls cash, not returning items paid for with kohls cash) Oh, and the last day to use the kohls cash is tomorrow, so i will return tomorrow.

I noticed in some earlier posts everyone agrees it all depends on who you talk to in the store to get the deals or not- just curious if anyone else on here has shopped in colo spgs and been in the checkout line with the "coupon nazi"? (I actually heard that name from a friend, so I know its not just me!)

Anyone have ideas about what may be special markdowns tomorrow (Friday)? They have quite a few dresses I really like, but at $50-$70 each there is just no way I can even afford one of them =(

We went through JCP this weekend on our way to a different store... same thing for us, prices seemed ridiculous. Every day pricing? Maybe for people that can every day spend a lot? I will give it a shot this Friday and see what they are offering on their special day (kind of seems like a sale to me? and they are sending out advertisements?). Hope I see some good prices or that may be it for me with JCP

Found the 8 pack of toothbrushes for 50% off today ($4.98). Also found a couple of leftover big nice vday gift bags... they had apparently been salvaged but the manager was right by the register and said to give them to me for 90% off which made them about .30 each. Lot of hair accessories 70% off. Tons of Aveeno shaving cream but I didnt get any because it is expensive even on clearance. Oh, lots and lots of different laundry detergents about 30% off I think, maybe a few 50%? (Tide, Gain, All, some generic I think also)

I did finally receive all of my packages, the ones I ordered most recently came the quickest, so all presents from Kohls are here =) I only have one more thing that is actually a present I am waiting for from somewhere else, and it says out for delivery this morning! Yay! I think I may be done... (barring any more snow problems- there is quite a bit this morning compared to the last couple of years for us!)

I agree with the free shipping comments- I will take it any time! I was just worried since a couple things were pretty important gifts, but I guess I will have to be patient =)

My Kohls.com orders are taking an extra long time... have had a status of "in fulfillment" for a few days? Of course, the expected at your house date is tomorrow through the 13th and I kind of doubt that is happening at this point. I also have one big order that was shipped but no updates on the UPS site since the 4th? It says delivery tomorrow.... Has anyone else noticed anything slow from Kohl's? I do realize it is a busy time of year, but they are usually so good. (and my stupid Walmart.com order beat them by days and days...)

One of the nicer walmarts a few miles up into the mountains here had a bomb threat on BF- they had to evacuate the store and everything. I wonder if someone was upset because they didnt find the deal they wanted?

The store I frequent had TONS of mens shirts at 50% or more today (4-5 racks maybe?)- a lot of them were band type shirts in every size, I got quite a few for presents for son and hubby. Also lots of khaki type pants. There were actually some clearance toys too, as well as the Wii, Xbox and DS games, most were still about 50% off at my store but still pretty good for gifts. Oh, if anyone is looking, there were a bunch of the Missoni (sp?) shoes at 50% off I believe in the shoe sections, at least one whole endcap maybe? I believe there were girls and ladies sizes. Lots of various clearance just kind of floating around here and there on endcaps too, I was kind of surprised that there was as much as there was....

Here's a good laugh for your morning: I have been looking through the ads this morning for tv's as we would like to get a nice one for my parents but have a limited budget this year. I saw the Target westinghouse or whatever it is and told my hubby (I hadnt made it to the best buy ad yet...). He said "Really? Aren't they opening at 10 or something?" I told him I believe it is midnight. He stated he didnt want to get up at midnight, but "we should check later that morning (as in 9-10 oclock), I bet they will still have the tv's then" Hahahaha.... yeah right. The worst part is, he has gone shopping with me several years now and knows better. He is so optimistic, maybe I should let it rub off on me a little!

There may still be hope for 75% off sometimes- I got a few items a few days ago that were 75% off (but some were 70% off too)

got a pair for christmas for my teenager, and a pair for me just for fun!

My son needs a graphing calculator this year for math- last year they had enough for their class, but due to budget cuts there are way too many kids in each class now and not enough calculators so it looks like we have to buy our own- anyone seen a deal out there? I found some used ones on Amazon, just not sure about buying this used? He can have the TI83, TI84 or the plus edition of either one. Thanks!

We mostly went for a few school supplies (since high school, they give you a list the first day only, so we just guessed based on the last two years!), but we did find one good clearance item- a Yoda wall cling thing for 75% off, I think it was down to about $4 or so

I hit the Target I usually go to yesterday evening and got some toys for Toys for Tots- we got about three bags full for $25 so I am pretty happy. No Legos though (I did see a guy on the phone with his wife who had one large Harry Potter Lego- she was making him look everywhere for more!). We got lots of Zhu-Zhu stuff, a Polly Pocket set, a small football, a Halo collector thing, and I cant remember what else. They had the cool Cruncher dinosaur but just not in our budget this time. I am just happy that my teenage son is as excited as I am to go get 75% toys for the Toys for Tots so we can get as much as possible and that he is such a good kid!

Thanks guys- it does seem like a few places have it a bit cheaper now- I have been kind of looking all summer and it was always $40+, if I could at least get down somewhere in the 30s range I would feel a little bit better about it! However, if my son finds out they sell it at Hot Topic, he may not want it anymore.... (he is on this big sell-out thing... teenagers...!) He loves Star Wars though- if you ever need to know anything about Star Wars, I live with the talking encyclopedia!

My son (16 year old!) really wants a yoda backpack for school- the one with the actual yoda riding on your back, but it is really expensive- anyone seen a deal out there for this? Thanks!

Got in the Budweiser 4th of July House Party today

I havent been on as much lately, so hopefully this is not already posted- I ran into our Target today to get a couple of things and I grabbed a small bag of easter grass since I had forgotten it- I noticed later on my receipt that it rang up 50% off, but there were definitely not signs posted in the easter area- not sure what else may have been marked down already- I did get some easter sprinkles (green with different color little eggs) and I think they rang up regular price

Didnt get as much this BF, but did get a steam mop from Lowe's for only $26 so was pretty excited about that (PM plus a $10 off coupon), and my best score was probably online, got Fable III for Xbox 360 for $9.99 from Amazon (29.99 LD plus my $20 credit)!

wow, I feel like the only one not done this year! I usually am almost done by now, however, I have hardly even started. And I still dont even know what I am getting for some people. Ugh. And none of the BF ads so far are very exciting at all. And, Amazon has actually increased prices on the stuff in my cart, so that is definitely not helping!
