Two years ago I took $1 in quarters and wrapped with rubber bands then continued to make a rubber band ball. Every few layers I put $1 or $5 bill and kept adding rubber bands. My daugter and stepdaughter had to unwrap ball to get to money. They loved the idea. My nephew keeps asking me for one because he wants to play with the rubber band ball and he is 10.

Some cities do not allow their stores to open before a certain time. I was told the store in Chicopee cannot open before 5 a.m. Our local Kmart in Holyoke is also not open on Thanksgiving day.

Regarding the Kmart T-day ad, in my store they usually have that sale on Wednesday since stores are closed Thursday. On Wednesday morning we get the ad and it is the same as the T-day ad. HTH

I price matched the Kohl's ad today for $34.99 then used Target $10 coupon and Manufacturer $10 coupon paid $14.99 plus tax.

Jello-Cool Whip Pie 1 box Strawberry Jello-6 oz. box 12 ounce cool whip 3/4 cup water ice cubes 2 graham cracker crusts sliced strawberries (optional) Make jello using 3/4 cup hot water, stir then add ice cubes till starts to harden and set then take out ice cubes. Add cool whip and whisk till blended. Pour into two pie crusts. Put sliced strawberries into middle of pie and garnish on top. Refrigerate for at least two hours or until stiff. I have made this many times and everyone loves these. I have used both fresh strawberries or frozen sliced strawberries. The frozen strawberries are sweeter. If you do not keep the ice in long enough it can be watery and not set right in fridge. I usually use a whole ice cube tray and then pull out ice cubes once it starts to harden.

My fiancee is a security guard and for the first two weeks of November he will have special detail guarding the printing of Walmart BF ads. Anyone who steals one or gets a peak will be fired on the spot. He said they have double security companies and only a limited amount of people are to be allowed near fliers. They will be shrink wrapped so that none can be cut out of bundles. He said he has never seen this over a flier.

A couple of years ago my sister, mom and I went to Walmart in Chicopee. It was a new store and they ran out of everything on sale. We then went to Walmart in Hadley and they still had everything we wanted in stock including a desktop for 198.00. I can't wait for BF this year.

Usually I go with my sister and sometimes Mom. Last year sis couldn't go she had just had twins. She can't wait till this year, she said she is going no matter what.

My sister is looking for a prop-a-baby for side sleeping. The pediatrician recommended it for one of her twins. I didn't see any in any of the local stores. She doesn't care if it is new or used as long it is in good condition. They don't make them anymore because back sleeping is recommended. TIA

Have you ever checked into Tupperware? It is microwaveable and they say it is made of a different kind of plastic that does not cause cancer. I was told this at a party last year.

Target had some on clearance when I was there last week but I don't remember what brands or price.

My dollar spot was 50% today. I also found 4 MM today. Not much in way of clearance in toys.

Target has one in this weeks flyer for 27.xx. I am not sure if it will play burnt DVD's though.

We go to church at 4 p.m. Then my sister, brother and our families go to mom and dads. We have sandwiches. We read the Christmas story from the bible, then one of the kids puts baby Jesus in the manger. Then we sing Happy Birthday to Jesus and have cake or cupcakes. Then we read Twas the Night Before Christmas and we open gifts from each other and our parents. We track Santa on Norad and then go home and get kids ready for bed.

We will sometimes buy Little Debbie snacks or microwave popcorn, or some other snacks, fruit snacks, sometimes a Propel water or vitamin Water. My son also likes Slim Jims so this year he will get that and a small can of Pringles. It takes up room along with cars, toothbrush, toothpaste and other small items.

I would probably buy rechargeable D batteries. This takes 4. I will buy rechargeables after the holiday. I bought 8 batteries to start off.
