I wish I could say that about our Kohl's. They always look like they don't know why everyone is in a big rush.

I have seen stores try to stop mobs of people running in from the parking lot. They are very unsuccessful at this. There are too many people doing it, and not enough of them to stop people unless it is a store in a plaza that puts barricades up. I have been on the other end of it. When I see a line outside of Kohls that goes around the building. As I watched the doors open and people in line going in, I was then just about lifted off my feet from the mob behind me and had no choice but to be pushed in to the store. That was not the time to say "hold on everyone we have to wait our turn".

I go there a few hours after they open. Go through all the carts of items in the front of the store that needs to be put back. They usually have some of the door buster deals in them if you search through.

We had Midnight Madness as usual a couple of weeks ago. Got some good deals. The attendance was WAY down from prior years. I could walk around in the stores and the lines were not bad at all. Maybe people are not going out shopping even when there are really good deals.

Our local Walmart has 15 on the shelf right now. Will be some new craze this year.

Any idea if/when the plastic 1/2 and 1" binders are going on sale?

1. Target, got a lot of DVD's, vacuum, and electronic there. They consistently have a great ad. 2. Plan ahead with game plan of stores, items needed, and know your prices. 3. Offer coupons on future visits when you buy something. Lowes does this and it really comes in handy in the few weeks following BF.

Almost done with back to school shopping. That's when I need my addiction will need to be fed. But I don keep checking in. Only 17 wks and 2 days left.

I am getting Circuit City emails at least once a week! I heard a rumour someone bought them and here is the link to back it up. http://www.circuitcity.com/sectors/opt-outv2.asp May not have a store to go to, but on-line shopping will still be there.

If my DH knew I was on the site already he would KILL me!!! He does not get the addiction. Good thing, that way he stays home with the boys.

Wal-mart needs to take the door greeters out of the equation that morning, get a clue on how to put things in reasonable places to find, and have more stock of those items. A few years ago a lady at a small wal-mart near me got her arm broken. To make up for this bad publicity, they should leak the flyer for this year 4 weeks early!

Thank you for this thread. I gives me one stop to look for hours and make plan. I do have one request if time allows, can you put the hours of doorbusters next to the store? That will let us know what ones we have to get to by a certain time. Sorry to be a pest, but so many stores and so little time !!!

Kids PJ/Bathrobe set, maybe DVD's. They are definitely not on my must get there at opening list. Too many other stores that open around same time have better items that I want.

Go to walmart first. They sell out of chairs, but if you get there w/in the first 10 minutes of opening, you should be o.k.

Their flannel sheets are awesome. Pick some up every year. This is the lowest price I have ever seen them for.
