Went to Walmart yesterday. A bunch of toys on clearance to make room for then new holiday stuff.

I get asked ahead of time. If it's an item that is very hard to get, at the store I am planning to hit early, I tell them that that is a reallyl hard item and you better get there early yourself.

Not have to carry the large heavy items through the store and lines. Have a ticket purchase system inside or out so that you can drive out back and pick it up after all other shopping. Also, more cashiers on hand.

I got a great 550 dell desktop with nice extras on TG day via online. Then they sent me a 50 gift card to use on anything at Dell this year.

I know that the one by us says 1 item. I also know from experience that they put the high ticket items out back so you can't use them that day.

This is new this year. I think they are trying to keep up with other retailers.

I hope I can buy on line. Hey, so much on line buying, hope I still have a reason to go out on BF. LOL.

I was shopping in the world's smallest walmart near my town on Saturday. I was talking to the lady at check out about how happy I was they were putting Christmas trees out, that meant it was getting closer to BF. She said yes, and we are open on TG this year. I smiled and said that was great, she didn't think so, she was already told she has to work!! If this small town one is open, I am sure all the big ones will.:cheesy:

I use the extra paycheck in aug/sept (paid bi-weekly) to pay for BF shopping.

I hope this scares people away so that I can be near the front of the line.

Yes, but not at the opening. I have been able to go after the mad rush and get most items. Especially if you go through the carts of items up front. I have found hard to find DVD specials and other toys in the carts from people who didn't want them, or someone grabbed one for them not knowing they already got one.

Don't carry too much cash. Too card to keep track of. Get a cc w/ good perks, or use a debit card and make sure there is plenty of money in the account. Restricting yourself with cash will make you upset when you miss out on a great deal because you are short by 50 dollars.

I am looking for a good Digital Camera for my DH, he wants good zoom on it. Doesn't have to be mega megapixels though.

Or E, I am going to get all done by BF, to save on gas!!!

Absolutely as long as you are not really stressed. If you're going to have a good time and are not added any undo stress, go ahead. Just remember to rest when the mad rush of people are over.

This is pretty much how our Kmart did it last TG. They gave you a ticket and wrote your name down on a piece of paper to match up with. I don't believe in scalping them right there in line, especially since I live in the NE and it is pretty cold up here on BF.

1. Bring the ads with you. 2. Get a few people together with multiple vehicles. 3. Make sure you can reach one another. 4. Don't try to hit all the stores at once, that is why you have #2. 5. Use the drop and go. Drop off someone from your vehicle to go get in line while you either find a place to park, or hit another store when it opens. 6. There are not friends on BF once the door opens!!!! (Making chat in line is great, gets you ideas and makes the time go by) 7. Put snacks in vehicle for in between stores. Who has time to wait in line for food when there are bargains to be had! 8. Don't forget to bring $$$, CC and your budget. 9. List of items needed and hard to buy people for when you are talking to others in line and are getting ideas. 10. Wear depends, there is no time to stop for a bathroom break!!! LOL. **** Wear your GD t-shrit and bring your GD bag!!!!

Ours is small as well. They have the cream of the crop working there if you know what I mean??? But, when you live out in the sticks, this is what you get.
