Being a teacher ..... (We don't expect anything, at least I don't) however any gift your child gives is greatly appreciated! we do receive a lot of mugs, candles (even in abundance they are still a nice gift) Here is my advice: gift cards for teacher to purchase items for the classroom (Target, WM or a local Teacher store, Book store) Teacher items - any office supplies, post-it notes, stickers Bath and Body - especially hand lotions or hand sanitizers (female teachers) however they do now have a mens line in the store (not sure what) more personal - gift card at Teacher's favorite store (where they would buy something for his or herself), or something that the teacher collects, favorite sports team Ex: (one year I received a long sleeve shirt with our school logo on it) I hope this helps.

I don't believe it either and their weekly sales have not been very impressive.

I usually buy stuff all year when I find a good deal. I usally finish up on BF and also get birthday gifts for people.

At my Target all Halloween items/candy are marked at 75% off, just went this evening. A worker there said that they marked it down yesterday. The items were in the front and in the back by the Christmas decorations. The store had a lot of costumes. Also, by the stationary there were knick knack autumn decor for 50-75 percent off.

My school has a Christmas Party, we have caroling in the gym in the morning and then around 2:00 we have the classroom parties. Parents usually bring in treats, drinks and goodie bags. I have had parents do a small gift exchange, presents for the classroom (games, puzzles, coloring books) which is great!! Parents have done crafts and games.

The kids play with their new toys or watch Christmas movie or both. The adults play a board game, play cards or watch a Christmas movie. Then its rest and plan for my Dad' birthday which is the day after Christmas.

that sounds like the way our KB was, i went there once and you had to walk around the entire store to get what you want. (no thanks) The eventful part was when this poor woman in front of me had a box fall off the shelf and hit her in the head, she had blood gushing. People were complaining because she had to walk past them to seek medical attention.

Yes, I count my kids clothes as gifts. This gives them more to unwrap. DD 2 and DS 4

I too ordered an item from WM site to store, and it was damaged. Refused and reordered, the other one was damaged too. Told WM to forget it and went to Target to make my purchase.
