I am up at 5:00am and run to the 24 hour store and get my papers. Then I come home and look through the ads and hole punch them, put them into my binder behind the ads that I already downloaded from this site. I check my lists, then finish baking etc for T-day. Then we go to my in-laws for lunch, while there we all look at the ads and make lists. Then we go to my parents house and have dinner and make our game plan for BF (my sister, my Dad and I) we decide what time we need to leave and map out what stores we are going to. We check all of our lists and decide who is going to get what at each store. It is sooo much fun and it is a family event.

I was hoping for at least a few more ads by now

MP3 player (can't remember the brand) worked for 2 days and then started smoking while it was charging, that's what I get for buying something that cheap.

Meijer, Target, JcPenny and the Toys R Us big book

Wii games, Transformer toys, Disney Princess, DVDs, clothes for DS and DD and anything else that might catch my eye

Dad, Sister, Mom sometimes one of my wonderful parents stays with my 2 children if DH has to work, so I can go shop

We start at Meijer early and since they are 24 hours I don't need all the major stuff (I find chairs at the store to use). Binder with ads pens credit cards small amount of cash backpack with snack and water coffee! Gotta deal list for BF deals for each store Kids christmas wishlist

On my second year of shopping on BF I went to Walmart to get a Barbie doll that they had on sale for my cousin. I had one in my hand and this lady tried to grab it from me and said that she had her eye on it first. I replied that she may of had her eye on it first, but my hands were on it first. She said a few choice words and I just wished her a Merry Christmas and kept on shopping:g_laughin

I was in Target yesterday and overheard the workers discussing BF and how much they were going to have to set up(so much stuff), of course they got quiet when they realized I was behind them. I was so hoping to hear some really good information. They were also discussing how they were opening up earlier on BF this year, but they did not mention the time.

I would hope, but prices on grocery items here have gone up. I have not been impressed with sales that have been going on this summer/fall. (at least not for items that I am looking for). I would think tht the retailers would be trying for some huge sales to get us out there this BF.

We have found that you can find some items out on the shelves already and you can put those items in your cart. The electronics and big ticket items you usually have to stand in line to wait for. If they have movies for sale, those they wheel out from the back and sit out right at 5:00 (or whatever time the sale starts). It usually becomes a mad rush, some people are nice and help each other out. My sister and I usually go around 3:00am, but last year we went at 1:00am and people were already there getting items. So I'm not sure what time we will leave this year!

Here in OH, the Wal-mart ad is usually in the paper on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.

Our first stop will be Meijer, then Sears, JCPenny, Bath and Body and then PA at Target, finally we will head for home. We haven't decided on the exact departure time yet.

My DS b-day is the Dec. 5th, Dad's the 26th, and DH's Dad the 19th of Dec., so it is a very busy month.

After comparing some of the items that my kids want out of the TRU Toy Book ad to the price in area Wal-mart stores, I found that TRU is cheaper.
