  1. At CVS, they have buy and Revlon foundation and receive a free powder, blush, concealer or primer Free.... Does it print out a coupon for the free or is it free as long as it is in the same transaction? Can I use a manufactures coupon for that free one making my total purchase cost less? Common sense says I can use a coupon on the free item making my purchase less. I just hate when I try and do something like that and the cashier says that I can't.....
  2. The BBB coupons you can use as many as you want in one transaction also, which is good since thier stuff is typically overpriced compared to other stores. Chick Fil A (atleast around here) accepts expired AND coupons that are for specific stores. Like if the coupon says "Valid only at Main Street location" you can use it at any around here. Chick Fil A's are not "coporately owned" but they all have strict rules they have to follow.
  3. I went to Kohls and bought a boat load of stuff...I spent several hundreds...today some of the items I purchased are on sale for $8.99...I paid $10.80 yesterday. Has anyone ever taken thier reciept back and gotten a refund for the difference? Can I even do that? I thought I remember hearing a long time ago that if something goes on sale for a cheaper price within 7 days they will refund the difference.
  4. Probably what you need to do is at the games he might like and which has more of those games. I noticed in Leapster (2 yrs ago) that I didn't find many games my son who was 5 at the time would play. But then again, he is the youngest with 2 older brothers and he wasn't into Dora or Spongebob or so much the learning games though I did buy him 1 Dora and 1 learning game. He played with the Leapster for a few DAYS and it has been waiting to be listed on Ebay ever since. Slightly OT- Also unless you own stock in battery companies BUY RECHARGABLE or buy the recharging base (leapster had one 2 years ago). IMO one of the best things Nintendo did was come out with Game Boy that you recharge instead of swapping out batteries. I can NEVER find AA batteries in my house, yet I seem to buy them constantly.
  5. Oh, and the whole reason I went to Target was to get the Flameless candles. I had 5-$4 coupons. I was rather upset when they didn't have ANY at the Super Target, but when I went 11 miles south that target had an Endcap FULL of them. I forgot to open them all looking for more coupons though. Like 5 isn't enough:lolrun:
  6. I went to 2 targets today and they both had those Axe gift packs on clearance for 50% off and they have a LOT of it. Plus on some there is a coupon for $5.00 off a shirt, the shirts, if you can find them, have been clearanced to $3.74 (mens department). I got one of each scent for my husband. He does like certain scents of the Axe, these are all newer scents for him to try. I also saw at my Super Target the In Step pull behind bike trailer thingy for kids (didn't buy one) for 50% off, also saw a Pool for 75% off it was $50 something (not allowed in my subdivision), and all the pool stuff was 75% off. Also they had the All Small and Mighty at 30% off, and a lot of the garden supplies were 30% -50% off, got a box of 10 the solar powered landscaping lights for $37.** that was 50% off. They had 3 different finishes to pick from. I will not open these and wait to see if I can find them at 75% off and then swap them out if I can, if I can't I am fine with what I paid. I did notice at the regular Target I went too, they seemed to be marking down more and they have different stuff marked down and more of it. I was also happy to find 1 -10 pack of Minute Maid (thanks guys)...it had one that was leaking but I figured for $.19 for 9 I could buy it ($1.00 off 2 packs coupon).
  7. I know that at my Walmart you were only allowed 3 returns without a receipt. They kept track by your license number that you have to provide when you don't have the receipt.
  8. :runaway: I LOVE to shop, I LOVE to find bargins...HOWEVER I HATE CROWDS. And I see the news in the morning where the show the people rushing into the mall at midnight to be one of the first 50 people in the door to get there $50 gift certificate. THe pushing the shoving....And then to think they have been there for who knows how long. No thanks. I like to think I can find some great and even better bargins just by doing what I do ALL YEAR LONG. My kids always want video games and the newest ones usually, so finding them at a great price is hard enough. When I shop now, I usually go right after I drop the kids off at school and there is hardly anyone in the store. I do my grocery store shopping then and my Target and the occassional Walmart trip then too and it is never busy. Even around Xmas time it isn't that bad as long as you go first thing in the morning. If I have to wait in a line that is too long or a store is to crowded for me then I leave the store and don't bother buying that time. It really stresses me out to have to wait in line or deal with the crowds... I guess I am a fuddy duddy.
  9. The coupon generator is not from Target. It is done by someone else with Target coupons. Do a search on Target coupon generator and it explains it in one of the discussions.
  10. I have always found busiest day (worst day to shop) for the purchasing of school supplies is the first day of school. The Public Schools here in NC start on Monday and my kids school is only a half day (why? who knows, this is the first time that has happened)....I think there are more and more southern states that have a rule that public schools can't start until August 25th or about that time so I would think they would wait until after school starts to put it on clearance. They usually have sales up until then. I think markdowns for items like that depend on what state you are in too.
  11. I went to Super Target today and they didn't have ANY of that stuff that the Target I went to yesterday had. The Kodak paper kit is ONLY for the kodak g600 printer, it isn't for normal printers. They also didn't have the lexmark all in on printer that I saw on clearance at the other store that I DIDN'T get. The one I did get, I think was a return and that might be the only reason I got it for as cheap as I did.
  12. I never printed those, and I actually questioned the validity of those....They didn't look right, plus it looked to me like someone had scanned the one they had received (either in the mail or by email) put it in a word document, then put it on the web. I go to these 2 particular Targets so often that I don't need them thinking I am trying to do something shady. The ones from the generator (the way I understand it) are/were actually on the web from Target, I have never seen the $5 off $20 on there. I have only seen them on the back of catalogues I get in the mail from them.
  13. I went to a Target this morning. I got a Lexmark All in one with Memory Card slots printer for $16.74 ($54.99 retail) and some Kodak Photo Paper Kit with 200 photo pages and ink cartridge for $17.47 (retail $58.99) a Jump Drive for $3.48 plus some other clothes at 50% off.... The bulk is never more than 15% off I hardly ever buy it at that price. I can find it cheaper on sale else where. They also had a bunch of that buddah stuff on clearance, I understand why it was on clearance, I am sure around here it doesn't sell very well. I don't like it at all. I rarely have a problem with the cashiers. I have found that even though I don't work there I end up knowing more about how to do stuff on the registers then they do. Only about 10% of all the cashiers know how to do a Tax Exempt transaction. I usually end up telling them how to do it, like I had to today. I have had a problem in ONE Target. The $%#$ said I couldn't keep the underwear hangers, which ALL of the other stores would leave them on. No problem though, I only had about 50 SETS Of panties and they ALL needed to be removed. THEN after I HELPED Her remove them (that is NOT my job it was hers) she never even thanked me. THEN she gave me a hard time about my Tax Exempt status and made me show her my Drivers License (NEVER Had to do that before and have never since) and of course I hadn't switched it to NC yet from FL, plus the tax form is in my husbands name for tax reasons even though I am the one that does ALL and I mean ALL of the buying and selling. I was so ANGRY, I left, went into another store, called that target and complained, then when I got home I emailed Target. And of course they didn't do squat. I should have CALLed The home office.
  14. Just wondering if I am the only one that you wouldn't catch dead or alive on Black Friday. I can't stand the crowds and there is no way I would get out of bed just to go shopping. Don't get me wrong I love shopping and finding a great bargin makes my day but the thought of all those people and crowds... Don't hurt me
  15. That is the way I read it too. I think the Starbucks ones are pulled from the Target site after so many are printed by the Target Webmaster. I DID find them at the Target coupon site last Sunday. But when original person posted it the week prior by the time I (and most others) had gotten to the Target site they had been pulled.
  16. I got this from someone on another website who runs this site and keeps it updated. You can thank him for his efforts by voting for his picture in the Shutterfly contest. Okay, so here's the deal. Target puts out these web coupons every couple of weeks that you can print them and use them. But what if you don't want to print all of the coupons - or you need several of one coupon? This coupon generator makes it easy to just print the ones you want. Also, the coupon generator has the current posted coupons, and past posted coupons. They take the coupons down before they expire, so if you want to print last weeks' coupons, you will have to use this generator.
  17. You can take them back to target and get your money back. I had to return the Iams wet cat food I had. As soon as they scan the item it tells then if it has been recalled or not and it will not go back on the shelf if you are worried about that. If you paid for your items with a credit card/debit card they can do a "look up" on the item. All you have to do is hand them the item and the credit card and they know if the item was charged on that card. I ALWAYS pay for my stuff with a credit card (cash back) so I can narrow it down to a few cards. They will stand there and swipe the card and the item and see if they match...I had them check 4 cards one day until I found which one I had used (fathers day gift DVD and he wanted a Wii game). I just don't want to have to go to the store just to see if my item was recalled. If I had an item that was recalled and had gotten my items on sale I might consider doing what was mentioned above, but if it was full price I paid, I wouldn't want to wait 6-8 weeks (If not longer since this is such a HUGE recall) to get my money back.
  18. I bought some polly pockets from Target a week ago....and mailed them to my Goddaughter. I have boys so I have no clue which ones I bought....I have my receipt and all it says is "polly pocket" but I do have the UPCs....can I check with just the upc? I went to Target.com and didn't see the ones I got, they only had the more expensive ones...AND they don't mention recalled items. I tried the Mattel site and like I said I don't know which ones I had bought.
  19. There were 3 starbuck coupons on Sunday morning on THIER website. One was for $1.00 off any drink, one for $1.00 off any drink for red card holders and one BOGO....My ST Starbucks took mine although they did question it. I told them to scan it and if it didn't work then not to accept it...it worked just fine. I used the BOGO from last week. The cashier was full of pooo.
  20. I went to CVS today and I didn't see any:(
  21. Has anyone just kept on switching pharmacies just to get the deals? I saw in todays paper that Rite Aid has a coupon if you switch your scripts to them you get a $20.00 RA gift card. I already have my scripts there, but I would be more than willing to move mine around just to get these store cards for free money. I haven't really ever switched mine around is there much hassle to move them around?
  22. I was told by Target employees that specifically the stuff at Target is put on clearance by how high the sales are for that store. So if they need to turn the inventory quicker then what it is selling for the stuff goes on clearance quicker. It all has to so with how "busy" the store is in general. When I USED to go shopping from Target to Target to Target (sometimes hitting 8 in one day) I knew there were certain ones I shouldn't bother with because they wouldn't have marked down the clearance as much as other stores. Why should they put it on clearance if it will sell at the normal price or why should they mark it down more than 30% if it will sell at 30% off? One store that I purposely wouldn't go to (after figuring this out) is a store where people were less likely to travel to the next closest one. It was also near the University and I know that people that attended the university tend not to travel very far. My Super Target that I frequent puts stuff on clearancequicker and at a higher mark down than the regular Target. Also this Super Target tends to have more of a selection (and I am not refering to the groceries).
