  1. I saw the 50% off dollar spot here too. I found 4 10 pks of mm juice. I looked for the legos and the only ones I saw were auqa something, I think, No HP...I even looked on the legos aisle. At one Target they hat the $5 off polly pocket coupons, but the other target didn't. I found the soft serve ice cream maker, but not happy because I had to get the display model with NO paperwork what so ever. I hope the website had the instructions and recipes. I was shopping all day and I can't even remember what else I got. I spent a lot of money though, but I was so angry I got stuck in bad traffic I forget what I got. OH I did see the guitar hero stuff that someone else posted. I just remember seeing it, but it was for Play station so I didn't really examine it. Seem slike I remember seeing a big box for it and then a smaller video game seperately. I think that was at 2 different targets too....Like I said it was a LONG day and I went to a lot of stores.
  2. 'Anyone have one of the Ziploc machines? I saw an ad for this in a magazine and DH thought it was more practical than the food saver I picked up. We just have been putting food in freezer bags for years. Thought the food saver was better than that but you guys are giving it such negative reviews maybe I should just buy the ziploc machine and return the other...' There is a coupon in the Sunday newspaper for $2.50 one from "Reynolds Handi Vac Starter Kit" Now I am not sure if it was Zip Loc or Reynolds, they look exactly the same. Maybe I got my brands mixed up. But I would swear it was Ziploc I saw before.
  3. I don't have one, but the way I do it, my meat doesn't go bad in the freezer. So the way I look at it now is if it aint broke don't fix it. I do remove the meat from the store package, repackage it in the freezer Press n Seal in the portions we will eat, then put them in a bigger freezer Zip Loc. I try and get all my stuff as flat as it can be so it fits in my freezer better. I really like the Press n Seal wrap by Glad. FOR ME it is just too much of a PITA to do use a machine that removes the air when I can do it the way I have been. PLUS I also seem to remember having an issue with getting the heating element to totally melt the plastic on the bags of the foodsaver every time, and if I got any meat juice in the part that was trying to seal it would cause a problem too. But it was 2 yrs ago, it may be different now...And I think the one I have is a Rival, not foodsaver. And yes the bags were expensive...but I would think the one Ziplock is coming out with will be more expensive than the regular Ziplocs.
  4. Ziploc just came out with something along the same lines...I think it is $9.99 in the grocery store. IMO -I have one of those and I used it ONCE (2 yrs ago) and it has been sitting in my cupboard ever since. I just use Glad press n seal now and then put it in a ziploc then throw it in the freezer. That is much easier than dealing with special bags and the machine. I am glad I got it on clearance, so that not using it I don't feel quite so bad.
  5. Has anyone seen the soft serve ice cream maker go more than 30% off? That is all I have been able to find at Target....They have been at 30% for a few weeks here. That would be a great gift for my ds12.
  6. It isn't stealing if you pay for it before you put it away or walk out the door. I do agree I don't think they should be allowed to change the price if it rang up another price. I own my own business and if I made a mistake and accidently marked something the wrong price I sell it for what it is marked then I go and fix the error. I would never tell someone that they had to pay more than what it was marked/or rung up for (isn't that called bait and switch?)And heck, I make those kind of mistakes all the time. I also sell a lot more at a big profit, so I get over it pretty quickly when it does happen.
  7. That make sense:) Ok, I wondered why they would keep on popping up on the shelves. So it is something that is NOT supposed to be on the shelves but some dim witt keeps putting them out. I guess it doesn't occur to them that if there isn't a spot on the shelf then maybe it doesn't belong there. So I guess if someone said "You can't have this for $.69" I would say "darn I guess I don't want it." However, I will continue to look for them. I have only had one cashier that noticed they were $.69 (then she asked if there was any left because she wanted them too). I usually am buying more than just juice so they would be less likely to notice.
  8. I thought they were $.69 because at one time they were clearanced? I haven't seen a spot for the minute maid 10 packs only the 15 pks. How long have they been $.69 for? I only found out about them when I joined here in August and didnt' even find any until the begining of Sept.
  9. I used my Target candy coupon and Manufacturer coupon today. And of course the cashier said "You can only use one coupon per item." And I said in a rather 'I KNOW IT ALL' Tone..."Yes you can. You can use one store coupon and one manufacturer coupon." She then ran the rest of my coupons through (1 polly pocket, 1 revlon, 2 minute maid store coupons) THEN asked "how many bags of candy do you have?" She had rang them through already. I said "FOUR" and she then ran the coupons. She didn't have anything to say after that. I was exicted though, I had found 2 MM 10pks and got the last polly pocket they had for $4.99.
  10. Has anyone seen the Lost (ABC TV SHOW) Action figures in a store? I have seen them on line but haven't found them in the store. My husband (the person that has requested these for presents for him) said they are supposed to be sold at Toys R US but when I checked in Knoxville TN they didn't have any. I don't live in Knoxville, but I was there visiting and thought I would check. That was about 3 weeks ago. I asked the manager and he said they don't carry them. I have already puchased the first 2 series on ebay but my husband does the bookkeeping for our home and it is hard to hide these purchases from him. It would be much easier if I could go to a store and pay with cash.
  11. MY MIL likes to buy, wear, and return (Specifically Lane Bryant) or buy, use, and return (her favorite is toasters). It is because of people like her that this has started to happen. Also I can't tell you how many times I have purchased something on clearance in a package and when I open it up, what is in it isn't what was supposed to be. Like curtains in particular. I have gotten a few shabby chic packages with walmart or kmart curtains in them. My MIL likes to also return meat (Albertsons) that isn't up to "her standards". After a while the store will tell them to either stop buying the meat or they are not allowed to return. My MIL not my Mom. Luckily my husband knows this is wrong.
  12. Home Goods is already a discount store. Although they do have a little bit of clearance it usually isn't much since it is already at a discount. I LOVE Home Goods. They have really good prices on stuff.
  13. I went to the regular Old Navy and they had some really good prices here in NC too. So much stuff on clearance, it was actually difficult to sift through to find the right sizes/styles. Lots of PJ pants and tops $6.97 and $3.97. Mens Tshirts for $3.97. Most of it at the 2 stores I went to was put on tables, and some on hangers. The tables were an absolute mess, but worth the effort and time.
  14. I did notice when I went to Super Target that they had stuff NOT on sale that was 75% off at ALL the other Targets. Like the Simply Shabby Chic curtains were on clearance for 75% but they were full price at Super Target, I even took one to the scanner just to make sure.
  15. Peter Pan Peanut Butter? I haven't seen there in ANY store since the recall. Maybe it is a regional thing.
  16. Also understand the STORE offering the warranty makes boo koo bucks on those things. There is usually a LOT of pressure put on the employees to sell the warranties...
  17. As a general rule the only thing you should buy an extended warranty on is refrigerators with ice makers. The Wii comes with a warranty seperate from the Target return policy. In 1-2 years there will be something better out there anyway. I wouldn't waste my money on it.
  18. Also, $.90 of every $1.00 collected for these books goes to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, so not only are you getting a good deal 90% of what you spend goes to charity.
  19. My kids bought a booklet of these when we were in Myrtle Beach and they let them use them right away. They will also allow you to use 2 and get a small frosty, instead of 1 and a jr frosty. They also let us do that here in Charlotte too. My kids know how to find a bargin!
  20. I just was as Kohls TODAY! I spent about $175 too. I could have used that coupon. That is what I get for having a life and not having time to check here last night. Dern the bad luck!
  21. In Gastonia NC they had the school supplies at 75%..I loaded up on pencils and pens. You can never had too many pens and pencils. THey also had a lot of kids shirts on clearance 50-75%. I got a bunch of ts for 2 of my kids and i bought for next summer too. They didn't have them all on racks either. The graphic ts were still on the shelves. THey had the kids champion soccer clothes at 75% off too.
  22. I wish I could get my husband moving..If I had gotten there before 1 when the sale ended I could have done that. Now they are back up to the price I paid. I did however buy a bunch of stuff on line and I had my 15% off MVC coupon for one time on line, so I wasn't totally out. Now I just hope they send me everything I ordered.
  23. Has anyone ever used 2 of the 15% off coupons IN STORE on 2 different days within the same period? I have the 15% off coupon that I used a couple of days ago, but she didn't fill in the date. Will the register know if I have used it if I go in tomorrow and try and use it again? Has anyone ever done that to know if I can do that? I have already used it online too, because you are allowed once on line and one day in the stores.
