Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2007
aidansmommy replied to 1angelnhvn's topic in Offline Hot Deals
I saw 2 great deals at Target today. First, the 10 count boxes of My Little Pony and Tonka fruit snacks were marked down from 1.99 to .89! This was not a red tag clearance item, the shelf was just labeled with a yellow price cut sticker and the expiration dates were good. Also, the Pampers jumbo packs are 8.50 this week and Pampers wipes are 2.00 this week, so if you use the 3.00 Target coupon which I have been finding in the American Baby magazine, (it is 3.00 off if you purchase both the diapers and wipes), you can get them both for 7.50. That is really good, but if your Target also lets you use manufacturer's coupons, you could get the 2 as cheap as 6.00! -
We also found it very easy to cancel. As soon as we got our coffee maker, we cancelled and there was no problem at all. A year or two later, my husband damaged the carafe by trying to clean it in boiling water, and we contacted them and they sent us a replacement for free! Even though we never bought any extra coffee from them and we cancelled our club membership asap. In my experience, they are a great company to work with!

The Reveal light bulbs at Target here in NC are 50% off. Prices varied depending on the size of the pack from 2.25 for an 8 pack to 3.98 for the indoor flood lights. I checked all of the packages and only one out of about 25 had the $5 gift card. Eggs were also on sale 50 cents per dozen. -
Walgreens... Possible VERY Cheap Diapers!!

I just got back from Walgreens in NC. The mega packs of Pampers Cruisers size 3 and 4 were marked down from 15.99 to 11.49. They let me use the $3 newspaper coupon along with manufacturers coupons (it is limit 2 on the newspaper coupon). So, the mega packs ended up being only $7.00! That is a good deal for diapers! Thanks for the info! Those were the only sizes/types marked down, except for a few Pampers Feel and Learns size 4t/5t, and they only had about 2 packs of each that were marked down, so they may be hard to find. I am going to get another coupon and check a few more Walgreens! -

It was 50% off at Target in NC a few days ago, but only one left. I did see them at Wal-Mart about a month ago for $15, but they are back up to full price there now. Good Luck! -
Craigslist may be an good option. I have sold crib bedding there and there is usually crib bedding sets under the baby and kids section.

I found the same thing at my Target today. They were actually marking it down when I was in there. All of the markers and craft sets were great deals! I bought several things for Easter baskets. Also, the wrapping paper and gift bags were at 75% off and I got 24 count thank you notes for .98! Maternity and nursing bras were also 75% off, as well as several toys that were mixed in with the regular toys. I saw Buzz Lightyear dolls and a motorcycle toy thing for less than $3. Punching bag in sporting goods was marked down to $39. Wanted to get that for my hubby but we have no room for it! Great day at Target! -

At Target today, I found the Downy at 50% for 1.94, SNuggle at 50% for 1.94, and Febreeze Fabric Refreasher at 50% for 2.22. With coupons, got it all even cheaper. There was also lots of deodorant at 50% off. Most stationary was still at 30%. Several toys were 75% off, but they were mixed in the aisles, not on endcaps. Most were the "boy" toys- I know I saw the Batman utility belt for 2.xx, some Spiderman or Superman toys for 75% off too. -

I have done the survey a few times but never won. I don't know anyone who has, but I'm sure there is someone lucky out there! I would love to win! More Target money! -

The Tide I bought was the powder, and it was Tide Free (no perfumes or dyes). I was there on Tuesday and it was not marked down at all, went back on Wednesday night and it was 50% off! The waffle cones and bowls for 88 cents each were the same. They just appeared from one day to the next at 50% off. I did not see any toilet paper. I think I must have missed that one. It makes me want to go to Target every day! -
Need input on coffee grinders!
aidansmommy replied to pleasant's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Good luck! The one we got at Homegoods was new, not refurbished, so I was very excited! The larger Tj Maxx and More stores may also have them too. Ours has held up very well considering how much use it gets! -
Need input on coffee grinders!

We have a coffee grinder which we use almost everyday. My hubby, who is the coffee expert around here, highly recommends the burr grinder as well. I bought the Cuisinart one at TJ Maxx and More/ Homegoods last year. It was on sale for $25. It is much less messy than the one we previously had, and easier to empty into the coffee maker. We really like it. -

My Target was resetting the shampoo/hair color/lotion aisles today. Lots of hair color products are marked down, and with coupons from the Sunday paper I got 2 boxes free and one box of Loving Care for 44 cents. Also got the Herbal Essence Volumizing Mousse for 48 cents after using a 1.00 coupon. The Sesame and Me storybooks were $5.xx, marked down from 21.xx. There were also lots of markdowns in the flashlights (most were 50%). 2 pack infant and toddler sleepers for winter were 2.48, originally 9.99. -
The backless boosters with patterns on the seat (I saw dinosaurs, princess, etc) have been marked down in some Target stores to as low as $5.50 (originally $25). They start at 40 pounds, so it may not be what you need, but a great deal. I bought a few about a month ago, and in Target last week, I saw that they were starting to mark them down again (these were new patterns).

Sorry I haven't posted in reply. We have been out of town. I'm not sure how I got the coupon in the mail, it just came on the back of a Target baby brochure/booklet. The coupon is a plastic card that you peel off the back of the brochure. It says to redeem, just take this card and a printout of your registry to any Guest Service. The expiration is 4/12/07. I have not done a registry yet, but somehow got this in the mail. I guess it is because I sign up for baby freebies all the time. Who knows? Hope that helps! -

Just got back from Target and after months, I finally found one of the MM juice box packs for 69 cents! I was so happy!!!! I did not think my store would ever get these, because I have price checked the 10 packs before and they were always 3.39! It pays to keep scanning. Also, the Sunsilk products are a great deal with coupons. They are marked 1.64 and I had a 1.00 and a 2.00 coupon. They gave me the overage, so I had 28 cents in 2 big bottles of conditioner and 24/7 Creme and both came with bonus shampoo and conditioners in smaller sizes! Several cosmetic items marked down- many of the Covergirl items were 1.xx and I know there have been some coupons out on them lately. Also saw the expensive perfumes and colognes in the plastic packaging (can't remember all the names, but Red Door, Drakkar, are some examples) 75% off. Most were gone, but they had a few things left. I am also watching the Liz Lange maternity and nursing bras which have been at 50% for at least 2 weeks. If anyone sees them at 75%, please post! And if you are expecting and want to do a registry at Target, they sent me a coupon in the mail for a free $20 Target gift card when you do a registry! I think I will definitely do it now! Thanks! -

After reading the posts this morning, I ran by Target and found the Shabby Chic bedding 75% off! I was thrilled! And I could not believe they still had queen size comforters left for only $22.50! Now if I could only find the shams! Anyway, thanks everyone! -

Went by two Targets today. Found a lot of good deals. Hamilton Beach Cappuccino Machine 17.00 (was $70) Dollar Spot was 75% off Oster Toaster 8.74 (was $30) Electric Carving Knife 3.74 (was $15) Shabby Chic Bedding was 50% off but the best deal was the large boxes of Pampers at 50% off- down to $13!!! However, the lady in front of me got all the sizes I needed. Only size 6 were left. -
The only Lowes discounts I have gotten were sent from Lowes in the mail. I seem to get them every three months or so, but it has been awhile since the last one. Nothing too great though, usually $10 off $25 purchase, but that is good if you are making small purchases. Good luck!

There are several Burlington Coat Factory stores in NC- near me, there is one in Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and Charlotte. For those of you in the market for baby items, they have an excellent selection in the Baby Depot area of the store. I just bought a nice changing table/dresser there, much cheaper than Babies R US. They have tons of cribs, furniture, strollers, car seats, etc. Hopefully, there will be some baby clearance on Thursday!

Fisher Price kid tough camera

I bought mine at Wal-Mart but it was regular price (59.88). Others that have posted on the Offline Deals forum found them at Wal-Mart on clearance for $35, but I checked several Wal-Marts and never found it for this price. Target also had it when I was there a few days ago for the same price (about $60). I think it is a little more at Toys R Us (65?). Good luck! These seem to be a popular item. -

I didn't find much at Target today, but I got a 12 pack of the Scott Bathroom Tissue double rolls 50% off (3.78 and then I had a 75 cent coupon), Huggies Baby Lotion 50% off ($1.74 and then I had a $1 coupon), and the green frog rain boots for toddlers 75% ($4.98). Not bad. Has anyone seen the Shabby Chic Bedding, specifically the quilts and sheets for more than 30% off yet? I think I will buy if they go to 50%. Thanks. -
We are thinking about going to Myrtle Beach for the President's Day weekend next week. Does anyone know of any great hotel deals? We are looking for something with a good indoor pool for our toddler. Best rates I have seen are around $70 per night.

Our Wal-Mart clearanced these out after Christmas for $50. I saw that they still had a Dora and a Little Mermaid one the other day, but the price was up to $74. GOod luck! -
You can use manufacturers coupons with the Babies R Us coupons. I have done this several times. In fact, the BRU coupon states "not valid with any other R US offer for same item" (which implies you can use other coupons, and in the past it was actually printed on the coupon that you could use a manf. one). I have never had any problems combining them.
