Sears in Winston Salem, NC was an additional 50% off on clothing only when I was there Saturday. Shoes and all other clearance were not included. They still had quite a bit left!

Not a problem! Nice to see someone else from the area on here. Have you seen any toys at 75% off around Greensboro? Also, have you been to the newest Target on New Garden Road? I was wondering about it, since I have not been there yet. In Greensboro, I usually find the best deals at the one on Wendover. Happy shopping!

Where are you in NC? Kernersville is between Winston Salem and Greensboro. The Target is on Main Street behind Blockbuster in a new shopping center. I did not see any infant seats on clearance. The few I did see were all convertible boosters. If you are in this area, have you checked Target in Winston Salem on Hanes Mall Blvd.? I have not been recently, may go tomorrow, but they usually have a decent selection. There are also 3 Targets in Greensboro and another one in Winston. Good luck!!

Forgot to add- the ones I saw on clearance were not in the car sear aisle. They were actually on the shelves underneath the big item displays, like where the strollers, high chairs, etc. are. There were not many though! Good luck.

No toy markdowns here either. Almost all clearance toys were at 50% off and they were resetting the shelves and moving all of the clearance toys into bins and carts. So maybe it is tomorrow since a few stores went today? I am wondering if I should check back tonight. Last time (January) my store did part of the toys to 75% off on Wednesday night and then the rest were at 75% off when they opened on Thursday. I also saw some baby items like the car seats and larger items were at 50% but not all. Of course, I did not have time to scan, so it could have been that they were just not all marked.

My son has a feeding tube and he uses Nestle Goodstart With DHA and ARA. Our home health company told me that if the formula was written on a prescription from the doctor's office, that our insurance would cover the cost (Cigna). We faxed a prescription and so far it has been 100% covered and the home health compnay ships it to our door. I don't know if they will pay for it once the tube is removed, or if they are only covering it since he has the tube, but it is worth calling and asking your insurance company! I was told by the social worker at our children's hospital that no insurance would cover the formula, but I checked and surprise! You never know until you ask! Good luck.

I only saw the additional 50% off signs on the clothing racks, not even the shoes seemed to be included, but I did not ask!

I was in Sears tonight and all clearance clothes were an additional 50% off. They had a lot of good markdowns in kids and infant clothing.

Did you notice if this included those big boxes of diapers and wipes? The bulk paper towels and toilet paper at my store have been 15% off for about a week now but nothing else in that section was marked down. Thanks!

Yes, alot of the Pirates of the Carribean stuff was marked down. The outdoor playset was 15.00, originally 50. I was hoping to get one of the Pirates dress up sets but it was only marked down from 18.xx to 13.xx.

I was in our local Wal-Mart today and noticed that they are starting their big toy summer markdown. They were working in toys as I was there, but I did find the following already reduced: Posable Curious George 5.00 Shake and Rumble Big Rig 10.00 Playskool Shoot and Score Basketball Game 4.00 Ocean Wonders Baby Gym 10.00 Name that Tune Mickey Mouse 4.00 Bob the Builder Scoop Carrying Case 6.00 Pirates Outdoor Playset 15.00 A lot of things were 50% off and a few were 75%. Most of the lower priced things were in baby toys, Thomas the Train items, Bob the Builder items, and Curious George. There are still a lot of things marked down in other toys, but not as much. I am hoping they will go down more in the coming days. All of the items were mixed in with the others, not on endcaps, but most had large paper tags stuck on them with the price. Still watching the Leapster games which were onlymarked at 18.xx.

I was in Target in NC yesterday. Toys were still 30-50% off. I am going to check again at another store tomorrow that usually marks down before the others. I did find Target brand shortening for .72, Target brand press and seal wrap for 1.24, Nestle Goodstart 20% more cans of formula for 11.24, Epson ink for 3.xx, Altoids for .37. Some pretty good deals! When the toys were marked down after Christmas, I went the morning that almost all stores were marked down at 8, and nothing had changed. Came home and read everyone's posts, went back that evening at 6 and found one aisle of toys marked to 75% off. I returned the next day at 8 and the rest of the toys were marked down. It was very strange! SO you never know...

I don' t remember all of the ones marked down. Some of them were Dora, Numbers on the Run, Maybe Scooby Doo. I will look when I am in there again. Sorry!

I am watching them at Target right now. Some of them are marked down 50% but only selected ones. I am hoping they will still have some left when they hit 75%.

My experience with customer service at Target was not great either. I did a baby registry with them this spring and it was a total mess! The items and item numbers did not match up when scanned to be put on the registry. This resulted in some of the items I wanted being excluded from the registry while other items I did not want or scan got on there! I emailed customer service several times. They were absolutely no help. Now I am waiting for the 10 percent off coupons they are supposed to send within 2 weeks of your event date to purchase any remaining items you want. It has been over 2 months and I have talked to them twice and still no coupons. I do not recommend their registry at all.

I have had good luck using Wal-Mart too. And they put you on their call list and call whenever they are getting ready to have a big sale on your brand of contacts. This has been very helpful! We have really stocked up.

My store in NC had a ton of those wagons, all were red and they were 50% off!

The step stool was on an endcap in electronics! It may just be a local store online return, because it was marked as is, and was sitting with the surge protectors and the Repalcements DVD, which were all also marked as is. Some great prices though! The DCPI on my receipt is 064020000 but the item is listed as SALESPLAN. No idea what that is! Anyway, hope that helps. Also forgot to mention that they are starting to markdown the Tide Coldwater big boxes of powder. But these were only 15% off.

I saw Burley bicycle trailers marked from $250 to $63! Great deal if you need one. Also got some sidewalk chalk stencil Sponge Bob sets 75% off- 2.48. STILL watching the 20% more cans of Nestle Good Start formula. They have been at 15% off for over a month now!!!! INot much else. Still waiting for toys to go down further.

I have also seen quite a bit of clearance especially in the toy department at my Wal-Mart, most 30% off, some 50%. Last year about this time, I happened to go in there on the day that they marked the toy clearance to 75% off or more, so I am checking back often. Last year, they clearanced out swingsets, race car beds, several large ride-on toys and a ton of other items. I am assuming it is their clean-out to get ready for Christmas, similar to what Target does this time of year. Also saw a lot of pool items marked down, sidewalk chalk, and sunscreen when I was in there.

Hi Kimberely! I went to both of the Eckerd, but definitely found the most stuff at the one behind Burger King. I have not had time to get to any others though. How old is your Ayden? Mine is 3! Nice to know someone else local is addicted to this site like me!
