  1. Yesterday, I used the $2 off to get the 12 pack of Scott for 4 bucks. I was just wondering if the coupon will work on the 4-pack of Scott regular tissue even though the coupon says it is only good on the extra soft Scott? I found ithe coupon somewhere on this thread a few weeks ago.
  2. I got a few men's long-sleeved shirts for 3.18. Most of them were originally $36 a piece, but they all had 3.97 stickers on them. THe 20% off discount took them down to 3.18! I also found a 76ers t-shirt and Phillies t-shirt for 3.18. They were mixed in the reg. priced stuff.
  3. Yesterday, I got a men's Cleveland Brown's sweatshirt marked "As Is" for 5.24. I didn't know that they even sold NFL attire. I couldn't find anything wrong with the sweatshirt. Has anyone else ever purchased an "As Is" item that seems perfectly fine? I also picked up two more tubs of the Christmas dishwasher tabs and a few Christmas Kleenex. They initially rang up regular price, but I asked them if they should be 90% for CHristmas clearance. After about 10 minutes and many phone calls later, he made the adjustment. Oh, and I also got 4 packs of 3-pack blue and white men's boxers for my little brother. The clearance tag stated 3.98; however, they scnanned for less than two dollars per pack. I would not have even bothered scanning them if it weren't for this thread giving the heads up about the boxers. :)
  4. did u already use the coupon...says that it is valid on feb 11 only
  5. I got two boxes (there were lots) of the seasonal tissues for 90% off. They were not marked down, but they were clearly Christmas, so the guy just gave them to me for 90% off. My little brother and I also got a few free Choxi bars. We have not tried them yet.
  6. I found a few shirts for my little bro (he wears a size large in men's because he likes them big). They were 97 cents each.
  7. 75% off clearance price or original price?
  8. I wish that I had known about this site a few years ago when I was in college. Instead, I was blowing the little money that I did have on non-deals. Oh well, it is never too late to learn about how to get good deals! I check Target about once a week since I discovered this thread; however, some days, I just don't feel like looking around for the best deals. It can be an exhaustive process. Does anyone else feel that way sometimes? Btw, are there ever clearance soaps, shampoos, tp, etc. in the regular aisles, or are they usually just on the ends? I noticed that there were a lot of stickers that said "mark down," but most of them were only about 40 cents off or so. I wonder if that stuff will go on clearance eventually if it doesn't sell.
  9. Just be aware that the coupon probably won't work on Diet Coke. IT says that it only works for Coke Zero products.
  10. I got the last three cascade gel tabs for about 1.20 a piece! They were not there during Christmas or during the Christmas clearance; and, they rang up at full price. The cashier called over someone, and after thinking for a moment, he just gave them to me for 90% off. Cool! Thanks everyone. After reviewing my receipt, 2 of my coupons didn't go through...2 bucks extra out of my pocket, but I will try not to dwell over it...Sometimes I really hate how I dwell over just a few bucks, even after I get such great deals...Does anyone else do that?
  11. For those of you who live in/near De, Happy Harry's (owned by Walgreens) has a lot of stuff 50% and 75%, depending on which one you visit. This clearance is similar to the one you have been seeing at CVS. If you live in De, you know that we have a Happy Harry's practically at each corner! Anyway, one of my local Happy Harry's has a whole aisle of school supplies marked 75% off. They still have A LOT remaining. The other Happy Harry's stores that I visited don't have any school supplies on clearance...yet. They all have various hair care products, soap, deodorant, detergent, dryer sheets (i.e.,Snuggle and Downy)...on sale for 50%. I even got some Ziplock bags for 33 cents a box after 50% and a coupon. Today, I overheard the manager saying that she had to do more markdowns. I am assuming that they will either mark more items to 50% off or will mark things even more, up to 75% off. I depleted most of my coupons at CVS and Happy Harry's on the 50% and 75% of products. Some stuff was 50% and I had no coupon, but still a great deal (e.g., Noxema face soap for 2.19, 50% off various bandaids, many shampoo, conditioner and styling products for less than two dollars). If any of you live in the Wilmington area, I can tell you which Happy Harry's I hit and which one has the school supplies for 75%off. Christmas stuff is 10cents or 25 cents each, depending on which Happy Harry's you visit. I got a Mr. Wonder ful (orig. 19.99) for 25 cents and a few window light decorations for 10 cents each.
  12. It works on Cherry Coke Zero and Spirte Zero as well
  13. it says one item per coupon but it actually takes 2 dollars off each one
  14. No problem; however, I suggest calling your local Walgreens before taking a trip. I heard that a lot of them stock limited quantities of the Coke Zero prodcuts. I called mine before going and they checked and confirmed that it was in stock.
  15. Some Walgreens stores have coke on sale this week (either 2 for 5.50 or 3 for 9, etc.). This includes Coke zero, even if it doesn't say so on the add. Walgreens coupon books (you can find them up front) have a coupon for 2 dollars off of a 12-pack of Coke Zero. The coupon actually takes 2 dollars off of each 12-pack. I purchased 6 12-packs of Coke Zero and paid 6 bucks total after using the coupon. Thank you to another site for mentioning this deal. Btw, they also have cereal on sale for 1.99. Use mfr. coupons and get the cereal for practically nothing. I heard some Walgreens stores have the coupon generators. Mine doesn't. Oh well.
  16. Yup, I did! I rarely luck out to that extent, but I will take it when I do! It is strongly dependant on who is at the register at that time. When the woman at the register started scrutinizing my coupon, I didn't think that she would accept it...but she did! Phew! I am going to post a new deal at Walgreens in a moment. Look for it
  17. I just returned from another trip to Eckerd. I got 2 tubes of Colgate and a Softsoap hand wash for a total of 12 cents. I used: 1 mfr.coupon for 2.50 off purchase of 2 Colgate toothpastes 1 mfr. coupon for 35 cents off the Softsoap hand wash 1 Eckerd in-ad coupon that took 1 dollar off EACH of 2 tubes of toothpaste.
  18. This week, Eckerd has Colagate toothpaste for 99 cents after use of their in-add coupon. Use that coupon with your manufaturer coupons and get free or cheap toothpaste. I got two packages of toothpaste for free after using 2 in-add coupons and two 1 dollar-off coupons. I tried using a 2.50 off 2 tubes coupon at another Eckerd and the cashier wouldn't let me because she said that it exceeded the amount that I was paying per tube of toothpaste. I will re-visit another Eckered this week, this time buying an extra tube of toothpaste so that the coupon will come off. I will end up paying 50 cents for three tubes of toothpaste. They also have Irish Spring soap (3 pack) for 99 cents and there was a coupon in this Sunday's paper for 30 cents off. You can also get free deodorant (speed stick 24/7) by using the Eckerd in-add coupon and this past Sunday's 1 dollar off coupon.
  19. I went to Kmart and came out with a few Christams items for 10 cents each. They just put the remaining Christmas stuff on a cart under a piece of paper that read 10 cents. I also found a container of saran wrap that had a "festive" appearance; so, I got that for 10 cents too. All clearance is an addtional 50% off the lowest price. I got my brother a Simpsons sleep set (pants and t-shirt) for 7 dollars.
  20. Last night, I discovered that my brother is behind on learning cursive; therefore, I am going to have to work with him more at home to catch up. I am hoping to find some educational learning bookds (cursive, math, reading, etc.) at this event. I am assuming this event is the right place to go for these types of books, or should I try elsewhere?
  21. if you want to get your free wexler product without having to spend a lot of money on another item at Bath and Body Works, go there now and find a 90% off Christmas item. I bought a 10 cent mini stocking to get the free Wexler product.
  22. Thank you! My little brother needs to practice reading. I will take him there.
  23. Wow, good deal...they used to have one of those in Michigan...I have not been back to Michigan in years...wonder if it is still there.
