my DD7 is home sick with croup Hopefully she will be fine before wed!!!

well i'm impressed with the site services...we got our order in 2 days! The brownie pants werent included (the money was credited to our acct again)...so I called to ask about that, because they were shown as in stock when i ordered. They said that they were all gone, but they felt bad and had some in the gift shop in the building...so they are sending out a pair for the same price for us! $0.50 :) I just thought that was great customer service and wanted to share :)

OK, so I picked up a few things on black friday that I didn't need (shocker right?)...so I went to return them tonight. I ordered them online, and picked them up site-to-store and didn't have their packing stuff (left the original boxes etc at the store when i picked up the items). I did however have the order print out from walmart.com showing how much I paid for the items, the order # etc. They wouldn't take them back!!!! They said there wasn't a barcode to scan and thus couldnt do the return unless they did it without a receipt (which wouldn't work either because it was 4 items and over the $ allowed for that). I was really getting frustrated at the stupidity level going on in front of me and asked for a manager...the managers response? She told me she couldnt do anything and to call walmart.com. OK, so I asked them for the number so I could call right then in the store. They don't KNOW the number they said So I ask them to call the site to store, they tell me they don't have that number either (umm...its in the back of YOUR store!!). They tell me I can walk back there if I want to talk to them. OK, now I was really pissed off. My next call is to walmarts corporate office...speaking of which, does anyone have the number?

Went to a different Target this AM...they had about 4-5 complete aisles of 30% off stuff (although I did see that dual baby alive someone mentioned...lots of them actually for $7.xx 75% off)...i asked one of the workers and she said they still had lots of stuff to put out and would be working on it all day today.

Usually the giftcards are only still good for a limited time after the announcment of going out of business. I know KB toys had signs up saying they wouldn't accept them after Dec 31st. I would call the corporate #and ask their policy on this, but you may be out of luck.

OK, finally touched base with my neighbor. He talked with his boss and there is NO word for corporate yet about the mark-down. His boss said they might not even do the mark-down this year because of the economy (I dont buy this AT ALL since there were 5 aisles of toys neatly arranged at 30%). In other news, I found some great stuff!!! Savings of $28.10 :) I found the paper cutters and tape in the stationary aisle just stocked normally...the holiday cutters are in the purple packaging and NOT the green w/present packaging (the irony did not escape me). The holiday tape is the giftwrap purple package with the paper cutter coupon on the back, HTH!!!

I'm putting $20 that the toy clearance goes tomorrow...anyone taking that action? I have a seriously good feeling about it....and may need to postpone that 9:30am appt i have so that I can shop! lol...

My neighbor just started working for Target...in the toy department...i'll see if i can get any information out of him and let you guys know....

Ours went 75% off around 2pm! lol...i was in the store and ran into the guy changing the prices, thing was almost everything I wanted wasn't marked down (including a Dora Ornament!)...crazy markdowns over there...did pick up a snowman and some wrapping paper though.

thanks :) my DD7 is now a Daisy, so I picked up a long sleeved t-shirt for $7.75 and a little backpack/sac thingy for $4.00...then grabbed a pair of the brownie pants for .50 (just in case she keeps with it!)

ok, I just sucked it up (although paying $8.12 shipping on a $14.18 order did smart a little)...got 2 cradles, dolls and tea sets for $22.30 shipped...not so shabby :) thanks op

good to know The clothes went over well and my DD7 is going to take her doll "shopping" soon so that she can try on clothes and make sure they fit...apparently she needs a winter coat

no fair!!! I tried to return something that I DID buy from Walmart and couldn't find the receipt and they wouldn't allow me to return it without one! They said it's a new policy, no returns period without a receipt

hmm...illegal in philly huh...damn it.

I am so annoyed with Target! First of all they didn't clearance out the storage containers AT ALL. They also only did 15% off all bakewear/mixes/etc. A bunch of other x-mas stuff was only at 30%!!! The rest was 50% but had alot of sections "mixed" into it with things like extension cords, etc. that WERE NOT CLEARANCED!!! I do not like this move by Target...it's confusing and tricky, grr.

Last time I was in there it was still 40% off...you'd think they were giving things away there were so many people in there!!! I think i've gotten spoiled with GD since 40% off doesn't thrill me, lol...still waiting to see when they will drop the prices further...anyone see anything more than 40% off?

well, hit Walmart today (with 5 million of my not so closest friends)...not much by way of newborn/premie clothes at all...saw the santa outfits, but they were $15 and too big for the doll. Ended up finding the boxes of new spring clothes (if you believe it they are setting up the valentines stuff/spring stuff now)...picked out 2 spring outfits for the doll (sleaveless would work better for the arms)...$6 total :) Thanks for the idea, I hope they fit the doll!!! (well at least i'm covered if they dont since Santa is a man and has an excuse for girls clothes, lol).

yeah, i looked there first but they won't show you the ACTUAL clothes you are buying...you just get the outfit they decide to send you...which IMO sucks...who wants to spend money on something you cannot see???

hmm...i didnt think about that! now i just need to figure out how to get out of the house unnoticed to head to Walmart...

My daughter asked Santa to bring a present for her "baby" (an original baby cabbage patch kid), some clothes. Target, Walmart AND Toys R Us do not carry any of the clothes that i've found! Does anyone know where I can get some? I've even tried other doll clothes that say they will fit that size doll...except they dont because of the big plastic head

Yeah, so I washed my daughters and stuck it in the dryer by mistake ...and it shrunk ...needless to say I need to find a new one, has anyone seen these?
