I'm just starting to get over my strep throat, but with the snow this morning decided to get more bread and hit the target. Found a 4 pack of the Junie Jones books 30% off, but only one there so decided for $12.xx that was ok. Also picked up the Fosters Tag book 75% off so $3.xx...markdown person was in toys scanning away...pathetic though, it's one side of ONE aisle now They still have tons of the Didj still at 50% off, some of the sleeping beauties still at 50% as well...nothing much else i'm interested in is left. Got one of the last 2 loaves of bread and headed home.

yay! I had a $10 gc from their cancelling one of my BF items, so this was perfect to use that up...ended up costing $1.63 shipped, thanks op :)

Not trying to get off Target topic, BUT...I adore the Swiffer Vacuum...it picks up everything (especially pet hair and crumbs)...the only thing I don't like about it is the short battery life (I have one for downstairs and another for up), otherwise it's the most awesome thing EVER. I am really seriously getting annoyed with this years toy clearance! I stopped in this morning to find no new markdowns...asked a team person who told me that they were def marking down today...I had to take my car for servicing and couldnt get back until 12:30pm...but i did go right back only to find the MLP set now 50% off, the Didj still 50% and the Sleeping Beauty doll now 50% off The digital art studio is still 30% off as well as some other things. SO FRUSTRATING!!!! I did finally just get the MLP set at 50% off since they only have 3 and the other store dropped to 50% last week on it and they all disappeared over there. Hopefully there will still be one at 75% off and i can return so sad.

Well, very disappointing...no movement in toys in either store...picked up Nancy Drew for Didj (75% off...$7.xx)...that was it. All of my stuff is still 30% off in one store and Biscuit is down to 5 dogs at 50% off at the other store...very very sad.

I've had nothing but issues with the didj coupon! I install the coupon printer, but it wont print the coupon and ends up crashing my computer...anyone else having issues?

DD7 is home sick again So no Target for me today! If anyone does see Biscuit go 75%, or the Sleeping beauty w/fairies or the MLP set (all of which I doubt will since they went 50% yesterday) let me know! TIA I'm thinking they will do another markdown wed/thurs next week for the rest of the toys I don't like this new idea.

I'm actually at a loss on this one...because at the store that did drop about half its toys to 75% off on wed the manager said they were dropping them everyday...but then NOTHING there dropped today Makes me want to throw my hands up in the air in frustration

Well, I hit my first Target at 9am...(they were still all 30% yesterday)...found 4 markdown people working away...it was just me and (ironically) one of my neighbors well...not much had been marked down, Biscuit was only 50% off today...the MLP park and sleeping beauty doll were only 50% as well!!! I quickly figured out that the things going 75% were the same as the ones i found at the other store yesterday. So i only picked up a few things (nothing exciting)...spent $27 (lol) I was really annoyed with the markdown people however...they were downright rude to the other lady and I about checking items (even though they were all having conversations of their own)...It made me so uncomfortable that I left and waited until the afternoon (around 1pm) to come back...by then most had been tagged and I could pick up a few other things. Went back to the other Target that went 1/2 75% yesterday...no changes today at all for them. Was amused to find a gay couple trying to shop for their 2-3yr old female relative...I pointed them to the potty doll w/sink thing (that I was shocked was still there at 75% off)...they were so happy with me they thanked me for about 20min :) nice guys. I am so tired and FRUSTRATED with Target over this toy sale (and apparently i'm not alone...managers in both my stores said they've had alot of complaints from employees and people shopping). I'm sick of running to Target (s) every morning for the past week! The 3 things my DD really wants seem to be the ones that are taking their sweet time being reduced in price Don't get me wrong...i've gotten alot of great deals and I do appreciate them, but I liked how they've done it in the past much better than this dribs and drabs approach. Wham Bam Thank You Mam, black friday "Toy" edition...you show up early, you get what you want, you are home in time for a late breakfast

LOL..you are a woman after my own heart...I think i'm more excited about the toy sale than my DD7 is! And by the way...I'm after Biscuit because my DD says that Butterscotch needs a friend! I'm also after the MLP amusement park...but i'm holding out for 75%!!!!

Here's my theory on this...they may be hoping that people keep coming back to "check" and will buy some 30% off and 50% off toys while buying the 75% off ones (for fear of them disappearing, or just cause they arent serious toy shoppers like us and think that's a decent % off a toy ). The manager at one of mine said it was the economy that made corporate take a different approach this year. It's good in a way though cause i couldn't have fit any more in my cart...i had to have someone help me to my car w/another cart once it was all bagged! yes, i have a problem!

I will definately hit the same Target again but after the other one (that was 30% totally today)...the manager stated that they have marked down the toys every day this week, a little at a time...and implied that they would all be down by the end of the week/early next week...i'm thinking they will all be 75% tomorrow morning...i'm hoping anyways.

hmm...I'm glad you went out and scored! it's nice to be an inspiration :) lol...haha...i'm trying my best to wait until morning to hit up the one that was all 30% off this morning...hopefully they haven't gotten all creative with the afternoon clearancing like yours did and i'll be able to score a biscuit 75% off.

I was actually disappointed because the 3 things i've been waiting to drop (biscuit, sleeping beauty doll w/fairies and the MLP playset) were all still 30%! lol...maybe it's better though since i would've needed another cart ;-) I still managed to find a *few* things that I *cough* "needed"...lol...my big happiness was the Poly Pocket mall :) my DD7 is going to absolutely die of happiness when she gets that (shame it won't be till x-mas!)

Ok, so my first Target was still at 30% off...but the second was VERY interesting! about 1/2 of the toys were 75% off and the rest still 30%...you had to check each red tag for the correct price (yes, i scanned some of the 30% off to confirm)...the signs all said 30% off. I spoke with a manager and he said that Target it going about the sale differently this year, by having it a week later than usual and by staggering the discounting! I think it really depends on your target...last year one of mine went 2 days before the other...and a farther one away went the same day as the 2nd...so it's an individual target thing sometimes...i'm not taking any chances...i'm going out tomorrow AND thursday to both nearby just in case...my DD7 is starting to feel better and said she's ready to go to school again so that I can hit the toy sale for her! I'm hoping to pick up Biscuit, the sleeping beauty doll w/fairies and the tiny my little pony playset...as well as a million other things we don't "need" but i'll get carried away i'm sure :)

yes, but i couldn't find it, so i printed out the invoice from online w/the order # , item, price, etc. They said that they could only do it as a return w/out receipt, but that it would be over my allowed returns for the year and i would be put on a "black list" of sorts. That really pissed me off since I was standing there with a record of the sale and payment, and the items with upc #s matching! Anyways, I did find the receipt with the barcode and went to a different Walmart last night and did return the items...although not without more hassle since I had paid with Paypal online and none of them knew what that was!!! 2 managers had to be called to process the return In the end they credited the payment to one of my credit cards (refused to pay it back in cash, even though it was from a paypal balance and not through a bank/card/etc)...it was another 30min lost from my life with these people...and this time with the barcoded receipt! ugh...i'm going to be ALOT more careful from now on buying anything from Walmart.
