I just checked all the Targets in my area...they all showed the system in stock...but then when I called none of the stores actually had the units! Sounds like the Target stock system is not so accurate...however everyone I spoke with was really nice :)

I'm trying to locate a pink leapster for my daughter. It seems to be out of stock everywhere, and TRU said they might be discontinuing it I don't want/need the L-Max (I have found that, but it's too much system). We're going on a plane trip next week and i'd love to get one before that...anyone have any ideas where to go? TIA

alright, I picked up 2 (one for me and one for a family member)...did the google checkout and ended up paying $19.98 for 2! Hopefully it will be ok...the reviews were pretty good on it.

I went there on black friday to pick up the heated mattress pads on sale...they didnt have any on the shelf, and after waiting at customer service for about 20min was told they were defective and had to be removed from the shelves, there was no replacement put out. When I asked for a raincheck to come get them when they were restocked at the BF price they told me they wouldn't do that because I might get a better deal than they were willing to give me! I actually just found them at Kohls on sale for less than the BF price, so they would've made more money giving me the raincheck!

I think my thread has gone from a constructive group of people helping me and supporting me, to a fight sometimes because of a few people who feel the need to threaten and personally attack the other posters...and that saddens me. I think the moderators have done a great job in there (and i must admit that i never even thought to bring them in, but whoever did, thanks!). It's Ok to disagree with someone, but it's not ok to personally attack their views on a subject just because you do not share them, or to ask for a thread to be locked down...I think we're all on here to share and benefit from others wisdom and experiences, and I think it's a shame when a few people pick fights and ruin it for everyone else. hold on...i have an emoticon for this...

got mine! They are really cute actually...smaller than I expected (which is a good thing), still have to try it out. Gave my postman a chuckle too...he was like "keychains from where??" lol.

try walmart...we have the 6ft prelit one, was $30 (not on sale), we love it!

netflix doesnt really do "deals" other than the free trial month...however I've had the service for the past few years and have been really happy with it. The turn-over time is usually only 2-3 days and the site is pretty well organized (now and then i'm looking for something they dont have)...now they allow you to stream movies onto your computer as well (and not counting towards your delivery movies). A few times i've had movies not show as returned when i've returned them, but they just make a note and send your next movie to you...no charges. I think i sound like a netflix commercial, lol...

try Ikea...they have alot of different sizes and models usually for a reasonable price...

haha, yeah we tracked this site down earlier when my daughter was wired...as soon as she saw he was in Canada she ran to get into bed...after that she just made me go out and put the reindeer food out on the lawn before she would sleep. too cute.

you will be FINE. They always accept things back (receipt or not...they can look the item up by its sku number)...especially since it doesnt work and you just want an even exchange.

OK, so I ordered Butterscotch from Hasbro.com on the 11th...still no sign of it..i've called them (they assured me it would be here yesterday or today), and emailed (no response from my email)...it's making me very nervous because it's a huge box and my daughter CANNOT see it arrive (aka: must be here before 3:30pm today)...it's from Santa, and her seeing it would totally destroy that idea. Add to this that I ordered 3 Wii systems from Amazon on Tuesday, with 1 day shipping...yeah, i have yet to see them arrive either...i've already emailed Amazon to ask for my $37+ in shipping refunded (the tracker shows them just arriving in Philadelphia today...not exactly 1 day). Anyone else having these hair pulling experiences??? or is it just me?

I went to ToysRus today and picked up Wii play, Hannah, Lego star wars and Mario party 8 (B3G1)...they had some games behind the counter and not on display...so if you go, be sure to ask if you dont see what you are looking for! I will still check out blockbuster tomorrow though...thanks!

I have a 6-yr old daughter...so i've picked up HSM Sing it! W/mic, Hannah Montana, DDR w/dance pad, Mario party 8, Wii play (for the mote), and Star Wars Lego, and Princess Stories. Got the HSM from ebay for $50.50 and the Princess from Ebay also for $35...so saved almost $15 there. And hit ToysRus today for the buy 3 get one...got the hannah, mario and lego there with wii play for free. I think we are done for awhile! FYI, people who have had a wii for awhile now have told me to get the dual recharger for the remotes, saying that they go through batteries very quickly...so i've picked one of those up as well for $35 at GameStop (saw the same one for $30 on Amazon.com...but at least i have this one).

My daughter has asthma, so we have an artificial tree. Got one for $30 prelit from Walmart...in store. No sale or anything, that was the price for the 6' tree...and it's beautiful and easy to assemble (w/tinsle it looks like a real tree!).
