So I live about a mile away from our Walmart (PA), but have been going about 15miles to Target because the Walmart was so disorganized/mistagged/no tagged/no checkers...it was a lesson in frustration to be there. We still had to run by now and then for Totinos pizza (no one else in the entire area carries it!)...so we ran by tonight and I had a heart attack. The store is undergoing a HUGE remodling process...there were 5-6 checkers just waiting for folks to check out...MASSIVE clearances (we scored 2 pairs of snow boots, princess and dora, for $3 each, and $1 shorts for women!) The toy clearance was marked and organized!! We spent about 2hrs just going through everything...and spent $182.xx:shock: So I actually felt the need to call the store and tell them how impressed i was...and they were really nice and told me that they had a new manager who had hired an additional 150 people (had been only 100), and was changing the entire store around. I think they may just get my business back!!! PS-He also told me in the next few weeks they would be doing massive clearances around the store!

we weren't having much clearance luck today...found the holder for the firewood for 50% off...and a little heater for 50% off (so $12.XX)...then found the 75% off makeup/nailpolish!!! very exciting...they also had a flower container with lots of hair accessories marked .74 (which excited my DD6)...but when we scanned it, it came up $5.XX Well, when we checked out we asked the checker about it, but she just took the clearance tag off and asked if we wanted it for $5! I was like...no. So we were heading out of the line and she called us back and said she'd give it to us for .74 :) It was very exciting stuff...my DD6 was very relieved!

I've seen the NBB ones for 50% off in DE...lots of them there too.

ok, so believe it or not I had someone's secretary call me (saw the ad on craigslist) about 3 min before we were leaving for soccer practice (and then straight to the concert)...her boss met me at soccer to pick up the tickets (they were for his wife and daughter)...he was really excited to get them, so at least someone is going who really wants to go (they were really great seats). My daughter is more interested in rollar skating tomorrow...next time i'll ask her before i buy tickets! thanks for all the input.

is that legal? also reading is a little over an hour from us, so i was hoping not to make the trip unless we were going to the show. I looked it up and they have an opener (bout 30min) and people are saying they stay on until 9:30/10pm...so i figure we can skip the opener, get there about 7:30pm and stay as long as she wants (no school tomorrow!)... i'm planning on bringing her earmuffs to try to lessen the volume...anyone have any other good ideas to make it quieter for her? any ideas would be great! Maybe she'd be more open to it if it wasn't so loud (she loved the hannah movie).

So I purchased 2 floor seats to the Reading PA show as a surprise for my DD6 (since we couldnt get seats to Hannah)...but she wasn't really a fan of the idea as it turns out and now I have the tickets and a kid that really doesnt want to go...does anyone know of any site I could list them on this late in the game? (the show is TONIGHT)...I put them on craigslist, but no-one has contacted me...any help would be great! TIA

I'm interested in any of the carpet squares and my store has been at 30%forever!!! plus they are almost all gone!!!

I know why!!!! I got into a long conversation with a Sears associate yesterday and made the same comment about Kmart buying them and what was that about...she made a face and said that Kmart had run into financial trouble awhile back and had borrowed money from Sears, and then Sears had run into trouble and instead of helping them the same was, instead Kmart used the money Sears had loaned them and used it to BUY Sears instead!!!! and that no-one at Sears was real happy about the situation...VERY INTERESTING!

the pics from my cell phone (and i have an actual digital camera built in, not just the normal cam) are not nearly as good as the ones from my digital camera...you can find so many really nice digital cams for not so much $$$...i would def get one to go with the photokinz!!!

I found one of the SAME princess Yahtzee games too!!! It was also only 30% off (bringing to to $4.98...wonder why mine was lower...)...but like you i just couldnt risk waiting (it was the ONLY one!!!)...

wow...I buy and sell on ebay...for the past 7 years...at times in my life it has been how I earned my living, and right now is one of those times. I happen to agree with the people who are saying that the buyer has to READ the auctions before they bid, or accept what they've walked into...if the shipping is really high...DO NOT BID. I also charge extra for some of my shipping (alot of times I have to buy the big bubble envelopes/boxes, bubble wrap etc.), shipping supplies are EXPENSIVE!!! Plus you are clearly told on ebay that the shipping includes "sellers fees" not just the actual shipping costs. I don't charge $119 by any means, but with all the freaking fees that ebay and paypal take from the seller sometimes it's really hard to make ANY money on something without hiking up the shipping charge to cover some of your fees incurred (and I state in my auctions that I use the shipping charge to cover priority shipping w/del confirmation, insurance optional, some of the paypal fees and shipping supplies). JMO

Stopped in at Kmart this afternoon to pick up the 18 gallon container for $4 that was in the ad...they were all gone so I picked up a raincheck. While I was there I found SOOO much clearance clothes! They were marked down alot and then you could take an additional 50% off that price! Pajama's were mismarked at $4.00, and the lady was rushing over to fix the sign, but agreed to give them to us (the 3 of us there before she switched the sign) for $2.00!!!! So I picked up 20 different pairs of flannel pjs for $40! Great for next winter and they were wrapped in bows, so great gifts! They were marked up to $4 a pair after the sign was changed, but that is still a great price for $17.99 pjs! I also found LOTS of Disney princess and Dora clothes and pjs for my DD6 and a pair of Hannah Montana Sneakers for $13. Go check it out!!! I saved $170 overall

went this AM to look at electronics (there were 2 26' LCD tv's there at 30% off)...the markdown lady was right there and there was only one tv left, so i asked her if she was marking it down any further. She looked at me and said "no, and that when it does go down i'll be at the end of a long line to get it. she also pointedly said that employees can get it as well. and that since i've gotten a good deal i should understand how it works." I finally recognized her as one of the employees from when i found the Disney puzzles, but i thought her response was really rude...it was like she was mad at me for finding the deals... I did pick up the remote charger for $19.99 (finally 75% off!!!), the razor in the add w/5$ giftcard (plus i had a $4 coupon)...i'll tell you guys if it's worth the discounted price even after i try it (expensive razor!!!!). picked up some other odds and ends as well...$60 worth and i cannot remember!

i hear you...hmm...i guess i would say the next time you are there just go to customer service and tell them about it and see what they say (which will probebly be, forget about it)...or you could call the store and explain the situation and see what their response is. Will probebly ease your mind...and i think you'll probebly get it for free anyways, just feel better about the situation! *I saw that i was double charged for something on my receipt the other day, which bugged me, but i doubt they'll believe me since i'm well out of the store...so i just have to eat the loss...*sigh*

I've had this happen to me and went back into the store, told them and paid for the item. I just can't sleep if i didnt.

I keep checking since they seem to keep adding colors/sizes now and then....up until now there have been NO mediums at all...just now they have apricot in a medium, so i snatched it up! no bags back in stock...but for $6 i'm cool :) So the lesson here is keep checking!!!
