Have to start with it's a wonderful life, miracle on 34th street, christmas carol(with Patrick Sterwart and muppets version) white christmas, holiday inn but I oficially start the holiday Thanksgiving night by playing The Santa Claus and handing out candy canes. Then the season starts!!!!!! :bounce_fl

It's not a guaranty about the cheap ones. Last year we had to find the ones with a yellow bar on them. When you get there better ask someone.

I get all the guys at work bringing in thier paper so I don't have to buy any. Then I spend the next 15hours pouring over everything. OOPS forgot to cook the turkey!!???!!

I used to go alone till 3 years ago a friend moved from florida and I found out she loves bf so now we go together. This year we are adding atleast one more. She has always wanted to go with others and she found out we are going so we are training (baptizing) her.

The year my husband bought me "It's a wonderful life" It snowed on that christmas and even though he HATES it we watched it all day.

My husband used to call me crazy till he saw how much I saved now he is willing to let me have my day. He enjoys the benefits. Life is good!!!!!

I was told at our walmart that we where not able to layaway and bf products. Is this policy or are they just making this up?

This year we are going to NY to see the parade so we will be coming home, sleeping and then start at dunkin donuts for coffee. Need to stay warm and awake for the day.

Maybe we live in a quiet town but that stuff never happens to us.

I would atleast walk to kmart. It's right across the street.

JcPennys always has good deals leading up to bf. Last year I got all the hoodies I needed for my neices at 50%off plus they had a coupon for $25 off $100 or more. It worked out great. I think alot of other stores are going to follow this trend.

we go to a 24hour dunkin donuts and start our day there.

we now have to go to the back of the store and get in line for the biggy stuff. someone in the back room hands out the stuff you ask for, no pallets.

I am glad to see I am not the only one that uses walkie talkies. We all have a certain place that we each hit and call the others if something comes up we didn't expect...ie video, cd and game titles. This way all the items get taken care of.

We have a group of ladies that make this a yearly event. Complete with manicures when we are done shopping. Any ideas to make this day more fun would be greatly appreciated.
