I am a librarian. From the discussions I have been in on, you will have to go either Nook or Sony E-reader. The Kindle will NOT work with Overdrive. (They are or have just released a Mac version for the Ipad). Overdrive basically has the market for library e-books. Our system is way too small to do e-books, but if your mom is in an area with a population above 15000, odds are very good, she will be able to get books from Overdrive through her library. On a side note, I would highly recommend that for Christmas you consider giving your kids a library card. It is a great way to teach them extra responsibility and the cost savings are AMAZING. Today's libraries have so much to offer, from great programs to DVDs, video games, and of course books. OK off my soap box! Just thought since I had a moment, I would try a shameless plug for the libraries! :-)

Ditto for me. I ordered Friday around 5:30 pm. As of 10 min. ago, I saw the game had shipped, but controller was in processing. I think it will all go through, but sure hope that price doesn't change!

I was wondering that too. I placed my order around 5:30 pm day of thread and is currently labeled as "processing". Wondering where that puts me in with those who have been cancelled versus those who went through. I would maybe call around to various Walmarts in your area to see if they still have one available. You might get lucky. Also keep an eye on Amazon for their 17 days of Video game deals. Right now it is priced at 179.99, but may come down if the special is on the right day. Good luck!

Band Hero for the Wii. :-( But, thanks to a great friend, they got if for me at another Walmart. This wal-mart was a zoo. I went in at 11:30 and people were 20 deep in checkout lanes because they already had most of the midnight stuff sitting in their carts and were just in line til checkout began at 12:01. I was really NOT impressed with this new set up.

Oh yeah, I totally agree. I did Menard's on BF last year in a town of less that 10,000 people and it was a disaster! Nothing is anywhere that makes sense they funneled everyone into the center aisles so you couldn't move and checkout took forever. I don't think I would go in there again for anything!
