DS12- it's a tie between Far Cry 2 and Fallout 3 for the PS3. DD19- it's between the VS bras, VS pajamas or the leather coat. It's all about clothes for her. lol. They loved the 4wheeler but haven't ridden it much due to the weather and dd having to work.

We had our Christmas party at work on Friday. We draw names and get $10 gifts for people. We also play Dirty Santa. Well, I received a card to Walmart with a box of candy. My friends were teasing me saying it probably wasn't activated because there was nothing written on the back. I laughed and said how are you supposed to call someone out on something like that if it did happen? I wasn't sure how much was on the card, but I figured the candy cost a couple of bucks so there was probably something left on it. DH and I stopped by Walmart to check on a case for my new phone. I couldn't find a case but decided to buy Resident Evil on blu-ray for $15. I gave the guy at the register my gift card and was going to pay the balance. He kept swiping the card. I said...it's not activated is it? LOL. He asked if I wanted to activated. I started laughing my butt off. I told him my gift card story and that no I didn't want to add my own money to it. He was laughing and started telling another employee.LOL. I bought my blu-ray anyways. :) We left the store and DH told me I was taking it pretty well. My response was what could I do but laugh about it. LOL. The gift card had a tree that you add sticker to so you can decorate it. I don't know if the girl thought it was a greeting card or what? But it did say Walmart across it. Maybe she bought it but didn't know it had to be activated but you would think she'd had noticed if they didn't charge her for it. I know the gifts were only $10 but would you call someone out on it? My friends laughed their butt off when I told them what happened at Walmart. One asked me what I was going to do, I said IDK. Sorry this is so long... I'm rambling..lol

Thanks for the laughs this morning. Dh gave me a book one year with a few dollars in it. The book wouldn't have been so bad if it was something I would have read. My step-MIL gave me a knitted hat, mittens (yes I said mittens..lol) and scarf set in a lovely shade of green. DH laughed his butt off at the look on my face when I opened it. I regifted it to my mom and she loved it. lol When Dh was younger and before we met, he made up a surprise gift bag for a friend. He put in a tampon, spiral notebook that had been used, cigarette coupons, an electric razor and some other odds and ends with a little cash. The guy came back and told him that the electric razor grabbed his face and pinched it when he tried using it. LOL. I don't really get cruddy gifts from my family. They usually ask me what I want and will pick from a list. The step-MIL has now started sending gift cards...thank god. I do get some cruddy gifts from work sometimes but I'll give them to my mom and she regifts them to friends. Well, I wouldn't really call them cruddy...just stuff I wouldn't use.

Try Ebay. You may have to pay a little more for the car but sometimes it's worth it for the smile on their face Christmas morning. :)

I didn't realize until today when I returned the crockpot that they charged me $20 for the men's fleece hoodie. I noticed it while I was at the return desk. The CSM told me that they only allow 24 hours to do a price adjustment. She left to talk to the manager, came back and told the girl to go ahead and give me my $12.81 back. I would have been very upset if I didn't get the price adjustment. I've never heard of the 24 hour rule. I came home and checked my other receipt but there was no mistake on the ladies' hoodie that I bought.

Our Walmart had 15 of these left at 9pm last night. I agree with PP, check with another Walmart in your area if you have one.

I picked up alot of blurays and several video games yesterday. Hubby stayed up til 3am playing Fallout 3, one of ds' christmas presents on the PS3. DS spent the night at my brother's house. DH passed out and dd and I went to JCpennys. Picked up several pair of jeans, shirts, fleece sweaters and leather jacket. We were at Walmart by 530. DD picked up 11 pair of the sleep pants for me and my mom. She was elbowed a few times and was ready to get home afterwards. I picked up: 8 towels, 2 fleece hoodies, 11 sleep pants, 2 of the storage containers, crockpot, sheet set, stick vac, supernatural season 1 & 2 and 300. I let dd go home and I went to BBW and picked up a bunch of wallflowers for $5 each and bought the VIP bag. (Great deal!) I went home and decided to go back to Walmart. Picked up a few more things and came home to wrap some gifts. I have to go back to Walmart and return the Glow Station, some pjs and sheets. I found out that the kid I bought the Glow Station and pjs for probably wouldn't like them. I'm taking the sheets back and am going to pick up some fleece sheets instead.

I think most have been lowered now. I'm still waiting for Supernatural Season 1&2 to be lowered. *Edit: I didn't notice the $3 movies. The $5.99 are showing up.

I picked up a couple $8.98 blurays, 2 pks of 100 dvd-r for $9.98 each and Hell's Highway for PS3 for $19.99. Now I'm waiting for Supernatural Seasons 1 & 2 to drop in price. I hope it happens soon, then I'll be done with Circuit City.

ugh.. i was going to order some of the ps3 games last week and forgot. The ds bundle is not a bad deal for someone looking for one. The Playskool Kota the Triceratops Dinosaur looks sooooo cool! My ds would have loved something like that when he was 3-4 years old! I'll have to show it to him later.
