  1. So far I've bought the nap mat, plush blanket and the Brobee pillow for gd for Christmas. They are all nice and the pillow is big.
  2. You may have a hard time finding them at Toys R Us. My 1 yr old granddaughter loves them too and I couldn't find any at TRU. I asked a sales associate where they were located. She told me that they were clearanced out along with NI hao kai lan (her other fave), Wonder Pets, Wuzzby and just about every other character on Nick Jr. Even several Walmart stores around me clearanced them out too. They seem to think Nick Jr evolves around Dora the Explorer. I bought a few items on Walmart.com but I don't believe they had plush except for the big pillows maybe. Check ebay also. They had 52 pages of Yo Gabba Gabba the other day. Good luck with your search!

    PS3 Bundle

We bought a PS3 bundle at BB last year and we got there around 10am. But we got lucky! Someone changed their mind and laid it down in another area of the store.
  4. We love that Lowes offers the 10% off deal everyday. But it's not something they advertise at our store. A cashier told me that they only advertise on Memorial Day and Veteran's Day.
  5. If anyone has access to Navy Knowledge Online, they have alot of ebooks. I borrow most of mine from NKO and they have alot of new releases with no wait. I always check NKO before I buy a book from B&N and NKO will have it most of the time.
  6. $45 for unlimited talk, data and text. $30 for 1000 minutes and 1000 texts.. not sure about data
  7. My DD has Straight Talk and likes it. It's run on the Verizon Network. We plan on switching when our contracts run out.
  8. ToysRUs ad caught my interest but only because of granddaughter. I really haven't seen anything we just have to buy. We don't need any electronics. DH has said this may be the year we stay home.
  9. Thanks for the ad! It's nice to see someone offering ereaders. :)
  10. We just got back too. Did your TRU have differant sizes of shirts? Ours only had XL. I was kind of disappointed in that because son is a M and my brother is a 2xl. But DS doesnt care, he tried it on as soon as we got home. LOL. I picked up 2 PS3 Black Ops, 2 shirts and a $50 card for under $130. DS and my brother paid for the games but they gave me the $50 card for going to TRU. I plan to use the $10 off $75 when I use my card.
  11. Free shirt with Black Ops at Toys R Us also. DS has talked me into going at midnight tonight.
  12. Going outside to get my Sunday paper now to look for the circular. LOL. DS has been waiting anxiously for Black Ops tomorrow. It will be worth the drive for this deal.
  13. I don't know about Walmart but Babies R Us had alot of themfor $9.74.
  14. I love these towels! We replaced all our old towels a few months ago with these.
  15. I usually don't start wrapping until my tree is up. I don't like to wrap too early because I forget what is in it, then I have to open it to check. LOL
  16. I did read a positive review for Pandigital somewhere online... I should have saved the site. But the guy mentioned a software update and it was alot better than the original ereader. I believe that I had one of the originals. I did like the "Night Read " option on this ereader. I hope your daughter enjoys her ereader. : ) Wow! A Sony ereader for 75% off? That's a great deal!
  17. It's a good deal at $80 but I think I would still pay a little extra for a Nook. I have noticed more stores selling the Pandigitial ereader now. I've seen them at Kohl's and Bed Bath and Beyond. I bought a Pandigital at Kohls a few months ago. It cost me around $175 with tax. I opened the box while I was in the car and changed my mind about it. They did not have it on display in the store so I couldn't check it out. I liked that the whole screen was touch screen... I like anything touch screen. LOL.. But I didnt like the ink or the fact that the thing is sooo heavy. It has a thick glass. I just didn't see myself holding it for a long time while reading a book. I had already checked out a Nook so I knew what the ink looked like on it in comparsion to the Pandigitial. The Pandigitial ink was light and hard to read while I was in the car.I knew that I wouldn't only just use it in my house. I returned it to Kohls after sitting in the car for 10 minutes checking it out. I wish they had it on display in the store so you can see what you are purchasing. We left Kohl's and went straight to Barnes & Noble to buy a Nook.
  18. I preordered the PS3 move bundle from Walmart a few days ago. It's the only big item he wanted for Christmas. I was worried that it may be harder to find the closer we get to Christmas.
  19. My daughter was due last November but couldn't work during that time so money was tight for her and DH. They took really nice pics of the baby and framed them and everyone loved their gifts. I always tell everyone to buy for the kids and don't worry about me. I'll buy what I want for myself if I need something. I think Christmas is for kids and I love buying for them. DGD will be 1 this year, I'm really looking forward to shopping for her.
  20. I have no idea and the kids havent been much help either. LOL DD20 and SIL21 want clothes. We gave them a 32in lcd and digital camera last year. DS14 wants a PS3 game and the PS3 wand. DGD will be 1 this year. I'm really looking forward to buying for her. DH will probably want blurays. I can't think of anything that we have to have.
  21. Some free advice if you buy a frontload washer..... Make sure the HOT and COLD water valves are turned on even if you only use cold water. I had trouble with my washer for a few weeks and finally got a repairman to the house. It cost me $69 for him to turn my hot water valve on. He said even if I only use cold water that the washer registers the cold water as a certain temp. If it's not the correct temp, hot water will run also. It was an expensive lesson and I really missed my washer. I hate going to the laundromat. My son-in-law told me he would have turned the valve for $50. LOL.
