  1. One store had them in the regular book aisle with all the other Junie B Books, and another store had it on an encap in electronics.
  2. Valentine's stuff was 90% at a Walmart near Disney. Guess cause it's a touristy one? Anyway, I saw they had Cars Valentine's party plates, cups, and napkins. They have some purple and pink in the picture, but otherwise doesn't say anything about Valentine's Day, unlike the High School Musical ones. Would be great for anyone having a Cars themed birthday party coming up. They were sold in 8pks (8pks plates, 8pks cups, etc..) for .15 each. Very cheap themed party goods!
  3. I found the Second Boxed set two weeks ago for 50%, so I was really excited to find the First set today for 75%. She got the first set on Valentine's Day and loved them, can't wait until Easter to give her the other set. Forgot to mention, Millenia store is 90% too on Valentine's stuff. Got a couple of girls red heart shirts for .50 each. They had the original display stocked with the tops and skorts but no clearance signage. I was surprised to see so much. On a side note, I had to return two woman's Valentine's shirts I had bought at 50%. I got back what I paid, not the current clearance markdown of 90%. I was relieved because I had to return them because they were the wrong size, didn't want to lose money on something I wasn't keeping. Guess they only enforce the seasonal returns at current clearance prices on Christmas stuff?
  4. Found the Eurcerin gift pack (Large lotion, small creme, and small Aquaphor wrapped in white meshy drawstring bag with red/white polka dots on top) for 30% off. I had hoped it would scan lower since it looked like Valentine's packaging, but still a good deal @ $6.98. My daughter had eczema so we use Eucerin and Aquaphor daily. The smaller tubes of the creme and Aquaphor are great for travel instead of having to pack the large tubs. But the best deal today was finding the First Boxed set of Junie B Jones books for 75% off, $3.xx. It will make a perfect addition to her Easter basket!
  5. Just got back from Winter Park Target, Vday is 75%. There were two aisles of stuff, no organization, everything was just shoved into the shelves. But I was able to find: Cars and Barbie activity Valentine sets for $1.99 rolls of wrapping paper .99 ea tissue paper .24 ea party favors .49 ea Wonka pixy sticks valentines sets .74 Cute Valentine mailbox kit 1.24 heart dishcloths .74 Also, if you dare venture into walmart (unfortunately, I HAD to), they have Cars Valentine cards that come with 12 pencils. They were 50% off, $1.34. I'm dissappointed with the Valentines cards that Target had this year. Smaller selection than last year; last year I got Hello Kitty valentines that came with HK tattoos, made great party favors.
  6. Wow, looks like we may have a lot more competition in finding the deals GD'ers expertly hunt down. Target's markdown schedule just went main stream, this article was one of the main feature pages on AOL welcome page: http://www.walletpop.com/2008/02/14/counting-the-days-at-target/
  7. I went to a Target last night around 8pm and was suprised to see how EMPTY the Valentine's aisles were. They were really picked over, looks like they got a last minute rush. I'm probably not going today because of how little they had left, and doubtful this Target will have anything at 75%.
  8. Yeah, Home Depot does the same. My husband bought some duct tape and didn't realize until he got home he was also charged for 10 cases of tile. He had gone through self checkout and but the machine was having issues so an employee scanned his items and must have scanned the tiles behind him or something. He called the store and the manager said to bring in his receipt and they'd look up the security tape of him checking out. Upon review, they refunded the tile charges; the tape showed him leaving with just a small bag and not a flatcart full of tile!
  9. Bialetti. They have the 14pc sets on sale right now for $49.99, but the clearance one I got was 12pc, dpci# 070011680. It's cheaper cookware, very lightweight.
  10. Went to Target for the first time in a week, can you believe it? I found a great deal, 2prs of Hello Kitty pajamas for $9.98, they were bundled together. But when I got home, the pajamas were no where to be found. I called up the store, guest services said it wasn't turned in back there. But the guy was really nice, he said to bring in my receipt and they could look at the video from my purchase and see what happened to the bag. That's good to know they will track your purchases if need be. Went to another store and found the 12pc cookware that I had been watching for 75% off ($14.98). It's a cheaper set but I wanted to get it for our travel trailer that we haven't bought yet. But at least when we find the right one, we'll have our kitchen supplies in hand!
  11. Where did you find the Junie B Jones books, on the shelf in books or on an endcap? My duaghter just started reading Junie B. and loves it. I've been waiting for the tents to hit 75%, but most of the stores in Orlando did the markdown early. Between the Thur it went 50% and the following Thur that I assumed would've hit 75%, all of the Targets around here got sold out! I was bummed they all reset early and I missed out. Guess that's what I get for not going to Target daily
  12. Finally, after three months, I found 4 packs of Fruit Punch Minute Maid juice boxes at the Millenia ST! The cashier kept looking at the boxes after she rang them up, she was in disbelief. Still only 50% on the tents, but found lots of kids' slippers, sandals, and water shoes like crocs for 75%. Kids' bulk Suave shampoos were 30%.
  13. When an area is resetting, do the items from that area sometimes go back to the stockroom temporarily and brought back out when then refill the aisles? I've been waiting for the 2 room tents to go to 75%. The store I've been watching had about 5of them last week, and when I went in today to check, thinking the price wouldn't have changed since sporting goods doesn't get marked down until thur, most of tent aisle was empty!! I can't imagine they sold all of them since last Thur. I typed in the number to check the price and it was at 75%. I asked an employee if they had any of the tents and all she said was they were resetting the aisle. So does that mean they'll be back out on the floor once they complete the reset, or most likely all sold out? If anyone in the Orlando area sees the 2 room tents (in blue bag) for 75% ($29.xx), please post or pm me. Thanks!
  14. Stopped by Sanford SuperTarget on the way back from Daytona on Friday, markdowns are much slower at that store! But they had A LOT of various sizes 2" faux wood white blinds @ 50% ($12.xx). Don't know if it was just this store or if all the Targets carry blinds, but if anyone is looking for faux blinds, it's worth watching.
  15. went up to super walmart only to find the clearance toys were still the same price. will they ever go lower? the clearance section was a mess, regular priced toys mixed in. why do they even bother having a clearance section?
  16. I've been watching this too. Did yours skip 50% and go straight to 75%? I thought it would go to 50% on this week's markdown but didn't. I checked several stores. Where did you find yours?
  17. Went to a ST nearby mainly to get groceries since I know they usually don't have any clearance deals; it's a really busy store so most things are gone even before 75%. But I managed to find one thing. There was a Little People Discovery Airport sitting on an endcap in toys without a sticker. But because I read other people buying it during the toys 75% clearance I knew it was clearance. I bought one for $19.99 before Christmas, so now I can take it back with my old receipt and basically get $15.00 back! All bulk was only 15%, and kids shoes clearance was pretty much wiped out. I was looking for the boys camo rain boots that were clearanced at all the other stores. But this one had them for full price sitting with the new rain boots. Sporting goods was still 30-50%.
  18. Just got back from an orlando area target, most sporting goods toys were marked down 50%. Got the cars arcade I was waiting for for $9.98. The actual sporting goods stuff (tents, stoves, etc) are still at 30%. A lot of housewares stuff at 75%, bulk was at 15-30%. Dyson was still only 15&, and all the Hello Kitty sewing machines were gone! Last time I checked it was only 30% and they had at least five.
  19. It's 90 day return policy so you should have plenty of time to return if you get it on clearance
  20. Is anyone else's Target's bulk stuff already on clearance? That seems early...
  21. I second that! I'm an impulse shopper too, and I've learned to buy it now instead of contemplating about it and losing out when I go back to only find the item gone. So I do a lot of returns too. I mix it up, sometimes I pay cash, and sometimes I'll buy on a different card than the one originally used to buy with the higher price. But I spend a lot of money at Target; I've have my Target card for 7 months and have already received (5) 10% off coupons. (Fortunately my husband doesn't know how much money spent that translates too). So without a return limit posted, I'd love to see them have issues if I'm returning with my receipt.
  22. Has anyone seen the Geotrax Grand Cenrtal Station in their toy clearance? Mine had hardly any Geotrax stuff so I was curious if it was just this particular one and I should check another, or if Geotrax in general wasn't really clearanced. Thanks!
  23. OMG I heard about it on the radio yesterday, but just saw the crach pics today. That is the worst crash I've seen here, and of course it happened I-4! Traffic must be a nightmare in Polk County. I'm going out in a little bit, I'll update when I get back with good news hopefully!
