Canon ZR200 http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B0007D9B9G.01-A1NDBS7YGOPBD6._SCMZZZZZZZ_.jpg Here is a review of this excellent budget camcorder. I've seen the Canon ZR200 as low as $230 + taxes and shipping from Dell.com after stacking multiple coupons. Camcorder Deals http://www.gottadeal.com/Deals/Category/camcorders

Question on buying a warranty for a laptop
RossMAN replied to DesiDoLL88's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
I like that it's not attached to your home owners policy. Because if you filed a claim it may raise your home owners rates. Great deal and you can't beat $16 per year, even if they doubled it to $32 that's still an incredible deal!!! -

Kim, Wow $16 per year is incredible. Are you a home owner or do you have renters insurance? -
You also earned triple Amazon points which will come in handy Congratulations on your new camcorder, why did you choose that particular model?

Question on buying a warranty for a laptop
RossMAN replied to DesiDoLL88's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Wow Toshiba's 3 year standard warranty is on sale for $98.10, not bad. The benefit of the Circuit City plan is you can bring it into the store and they mail it for you. You will still be without a laptop for 1-3 weeks while the repair center diagnoses and fixes it. Since you bought an "open box" I would call Toshiba sales and ask if you're still eligible for their extended warranty? -
Question on buying a warranty for a laptop
RossMAN replied to DesiDoLL88's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Do you have the original box, owners manual and sales receipt? I would recommend buying an extended warranty direct from Toshiba. There are several different warranty plans to choose from. It all depends on what kind of coverage you are comfortable with and of course what your budget is. Remember this is a $325 laptop so spending $199 or $229 on an extended warranty isn't a wise financial decision. I would pay anywhere from $99 - $149 for 2-3 years mail in coverage. -
Bummer that they're sold out online http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?id=pcmcat66900050001&type=category

Help! Need to find Seinfeld season 5 or 6
RossMAN replied to jessicaw's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Have you checked your local Sam's Club, Fry's or CostCo? I believe CostCo had $10 off Seinfeld sets, although they could have expired by now. -
Does anyone else feel like it just "snuck up" on you this year?

If it's DEFECTIVE and you get a replacement laptop, usually you are not charged a restocking fee. I would return it ASAP, indicate it is DEFECTIVE and ask for a replacement laptop.

Anyone order the Dell B120 w/free wireless card?
RossMAN replied to Dork42775's topic in Online Hot Deals
I have a Dell Inspiron 700m laptop with internal wireless card (Intel 2200 802.11b/g) and I can definitely go further than 6 feet. Would you please provide a link to that bogus thread? Our 802.11b wireless router is downstairs, we use wireless 100% of the time and never have any problems. -
Thank you, hopefully you can mail it Monday via USPS Priority and I'll scan it by the weekend

It's worth a shot, what do you have to lose other than wasted time? Depending on how busy they are, they might call a local CC to see if it's in stock and what price. If that happens then you're probably SOL.

mom04 - Great deal and I just transferred an additional 50 GottaPoints to you :)

My personal experiences with Dell desktops and laptops have all been very good. We have owned several Dell Dimension 4100, 4300, 4400, 4500, 4550 and 4600 desktops with no problems. Actually the onboard soundcard on my 4600 died but that's about it. Even if something did break, they usually (mostly) industry standard hardware so it's a quick and cheap fix, assuming the warranty has expired.

I have owned 3 Dell flat panel LCD's and I've never had a single problem, they definitely offer the best bang for your buck. My Dell UltraSharp 2005FPW is just stunningly beautiful ...
