This isn't something new and it won't work for all stores.
-
If you're a new customer, most cell phone carriers offer steep discounts already. They should be open.

Consider it ignored and please continue discussion here :)

If I recall correctly last year the CompUSA ad wasn't released until a few days before BF. So please be patient.

or you can post your pricematching questions here.

BB ad scans can be found here. If you have any ad blocking software such as norton internet security, disable it first otherwise you won't see the links.

Samsung HL-S5687W 56" 1080p DLP HDTV - $1,849.99 Shipped @ Amazon.com
RossMAN replied to Brad's topic in Online Hot Deals
I've always thought the opposite. I had a Westinghouse 32" LCD which had vibrant colors (especially when watching ABC's "Lost"). Eventually I sold it, which I regret now and upgraded to a Toshiba 50" DLP. Of course now I regret that and wish I had bought this. My Toshiba 50" DLP is beautiful but it's only 720p and cost $1600. For an extra $250 I would gain 6" and 1080p resolution. There is very little 1080p content right now but it does help "future proof" your HDTV. This deal only gets sweeter with the free shipping. -
LCD - cheaper, best for 27" - 42" sizes, uses less electricity, better if you plan on using it with a PC. Plasma - if you want something 50" or larger, get Plasma. DLP - best bang for your buck and PQ if you don't need to hang your TV on the wall. CC's $349.99 BF price is great but you may need to wait in line for a few hours. Just something to keep in mind. Obviously we can't predict when prices will fall but they will eventually as newer models are released. If you can wait a few months the MSRP might drop to $375 or so, that's only a guess. Why wait? Buy it for $349.99 on BF and enjoy it immediately :) Our c320 doesn't pronounce street names but it does speak "turn left in 400 feet" which is still useful.

to the GottaDeal forums :) The Black Friday ad scans can be found here. If you have Norton internet security I would recommend disabling it first.

Moved to the Best Buy store specific forum. Yep that's how it works. I've heard there's a limit of ONE voucher per person total. So if you wanted to buy a laptop and LCD HDTV, two separate items you're out of luck. YMMV as always.

Which is the best Plasma tv to purchase
RossMAN replied to sumaram's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
sumaram, What is your budget? Have you also considered a DLP which is a better value? However you won't be able to hang it on a wall. Do you have a CostCo, Sams Club, Micro Center or Fry's Electronics in your area? -
$430.99 is a great deal http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000A5TAT2/ I also found it for $454.99 and $468.88 Are you sure you need the Garmin c340? My wife and I bought the Garmin StreetPilot c320 earlier this year and we love it. The c320 meets all of our needs and is only $268.82 http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=3556743 Garmin has a comparison feature to see how the c320 and c340 stack up against each other: http://www.garmin.com/automotive/compare.jsp

That reminds me of one of the best kept secrets of BF 2005. AOL was offering a $250 intant discount if you sign up for 1 year. If you cancel early the penalty was $180, so you get a $70 discount for signing up and cancelling. Best of all it, this discount method worked on the Apple iPod

Thanks. With the hundreds of BF threads and dizzying choices, sometimes it helps to keep it simple. I forgot to add that Belkin wireless routers are worth considering.

This Dell Dimension 5150 with 19" LCD for $399 is a good deal, however it doesn't offer a free upgrade to Vista.

I don't think it will be as popular as the laptop/Westinghouse 32" LCD. Midnight should be fine.

What is your definition of "camp out", what time? Some people are lucky, get in line at 3AM and get everything they want. 2005 we got in line at BB around 11PM and there were already 40 people in line. So most of the door busters were already sold out. So we gave up and went to CC, same thing happened.
