I doubt it will sell out as quickly as the laptop or 32" LCD HDTV however it will probably sell out by Saturday. My advice is to get there Friday at 6AM.

I have experience with buying SD media from CC on BF. Of course this varies by location. My experience was they sold out within 1-2 hours which is probably accurate for most locations. So you won't have to get in line at midnight but I would consider getting in line around 4AM. Once you get in, head straight to the digital camera department then checkout.

The best is the Intel Core 2 Duo but that's not an option here. So you are correct, the Core Solo is the best in terms of power and battery life. It should handle Windows Vista just fine, I would recommend upgrading RAM to 1GB though. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/getready/capable.mspx For $379 out the door with no rebates and DVD Burner the HP @ BB is the hottest laptop this year!

jenna8110, The Intel Pentium 4 is still a solid CPU but it's old. The Core Solo is better, Core Duo is better and Core 2 Duo is the best. This is assuming we're only discussing Intel. Core 2 Duo > Core Duo > Core Solo > P4 Windows XP Home is leaps and bounds better than Windows ME which is the WORST operating system. What's your budget for a new desktop?
