Sweet, thank you! -
College bulletin board and people he knew. Not everyone can afford a $1,000 iBook or $1,500 IBM ThinkPad T series laptop.

A friend from Phoenix just called and he scored 2 of these. He's already sold them to college students for $599 each, lucky bastard!!! $600 profit for about 1 hour of work.

You may not need an AIO (all in one) but here's a hot deal: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=10993 http://images.amazon.com/images/P//B00030CHOE.01.TZZZZZZZ.jpg

That's a damn shame because CostCo B&M has the Samsung CLP-510 for $299 out the door. It comes with a built in duplexer, which is a $200+ dollar option on most printers.
-
Aaron, do you have a CostCo nearby?

How far are you from Fry's Electronics? 3296 Commerce Ave. North West Duluth, GA 30096 (678) 405-6800

For an office environment a color laser printer would probably be best but those are $$$. Budget? How much printing?

Agreed. This is a BUDGET laptop. You're not going to run PhotoShop or play the latest video games on it. For basic internet surfing, listening to MP3s, watching DVD movies, burning CD's and working on school work - it's sufficient. I would definitely upgrade the RAM though to at least 512MB RAM.

Yep there is a restocking fee but dayum $299 AR is hot!

Wow this laptop sells for $799.88 on JR.com So far it has received good reviews on ePinions.com http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B000980J4K.01-A1NDBS7YGOPBD6._SCMZZZZZZZ_.jpg

Another vote for the awesome and capable Canon PowerShot A95. Check out this A95 vs Z700 side-by-side comparison.

I would agree and would suggest reading this 9300 FAQ. The i9300 is basically a desktop replacement, so it's not as portable as the 700m or even 6000. I'm sure that most "power users" will use it indoors located near an A/C outlet. We cannot make that decision for you, however $750 off $1899 is pretty hot. Sure Dell could release a better $750 off $1499 coupon or this might be the last for a while until school begins. If you are satisfied with the specs and price today, I would buy today.

If you order from Overstock.com don't forget to use the 10% off coupon

I have found the Dell kiosks useful for only 1 reason. To see the merchandise in person and play around with it before ordering online for a lower price. I cannot tell you how many times I saw people paying $1200+ for a low end laptop, it boggles my mind. Out of respect for the hard working DDS employees I never intervened although I was tempted to plenty of times. Sometimes if I'm bored in the mall I'll ask the DDS sales people questions about tech specs, weight, how they compare against competing products, reviews, etc. Some of them really know their stuff, others seem like they were just trained last week at Dell University. When I first saw an Inspiron 700m laptop I was blown away at it's sized but not that crazy about it's small keyboard. So I came home and ordered the i6000 for a great price ($750 LOADED), well that was too big. So I sold that for a $150 profit to someone I know. Then I ordered a 700m with 8 cell extended life battery and I love it. My only gripe is the small keyboard but I did want a small laptop, right?

That's what we have :) You may be thinking of the Apple retail stores?
