  1. Now that's what I call "deal engineering" How much did it cost to upgrade to 1GB RAM? I got 256MB and ordered 1GB from NewEgg.com for $119 and installed it myself.
  2. Coupon code still works, remember there is no period at the end. 40% off coupon code is ?Q2VH66VGW$R0W
  3. 4. Frieked, Usually it's a Dimension 3000 with 17" CRT (not flat panel LCD) for $299 - $349 with free shipping. Those happen I'd say every 3-4 weeks. Last month they had a hot deal on a 3000 with 15" LCD for $248 shipped, I got in on that :)
  5. You're welcome and hopefully you'll become a regular on the forums :) $750 off $1499 which is 50% and free shipping has been the best ever. 40% off is nice if you're getting a loaded Inspiron laptop.
  6. I've moved this to the appropriate Deal Finder Service forum :) to the forums, please make yourself at home. We're expecting Dell to bring back the popular 40% and $749 off $1499 coupons in about 1.5 months around mid October. Of course this is only a guesstimate but since that's their next end of quarter and near Black Friday, it's very likely. I would recommend checking our Dell Coupon Page at least once a day. Coupons come and go all the time, sometimes they expire the same day.
  7. $11 is actually a great deal
  8. You're welcome, happy to help
  9. threesix to the forums :) After you have selected your laptop and made the necessary upgrades, click continue, continue and add to cart. During check out copy/paste this coupon code GV8NGST6PF0DMJ into the coupon box and click "apply".
  10. Yep I just added a Dell Inspiron 6000 to my cart used the $750 off $1899 and Discover $50 off $999 coupon, both stacked. Since I'm not ordering I didn't submit my cc details, so I'm not sure if the $50 is later voided or not. Details of the Discover $50 off $999 coupon are:
  11. Bummer that Amazon.com doesn't carry the sour lifesavers http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000AQDXNA/
  12. As a point of reference I check Crucial.com to see what RAM is 100% compatible with Dell laptops. Here are links: 700m DDR PC2700 • CL=2.5 • UNBUFFERED • NON-ECC • DDR333 • 2.5V6000 DDR2 PC2-3200 • CL=3 • UNBUFFERED • NON-ECC • DDR2-400 • 1.8VComparing 1GB Crucial.com prices, there's a small $15 difference between the two. Unfortunately I don't have a Discover card, any idea if that stacks with this coupon?
  13. I doubt the office chains have them in stock either. I'll see if ePinions or CNET.com has any additional reviews.
  14. need_a_laptop, First of all to the forums I'm guessing the $750 off $1499 (with no e-value restrictions) should return in about 6 weeks. If you plan on getting a LOADED laptop the 40% off coupon gives you more bang for your buck - since 40% off $1499 is only $599. I've read on other forums that they're shipping 400MHz RAM not 533. The ideal solution is to buy the least amount of RAM (256MB) and buy the rest from newegg.com or crucial.com RAM installation is super easy and fast. A few months ago when I had a 6000, I got the min 256MB RAM and bought 256MB for $35 shipped from eBay. Your configuration looks great although I would recommend upgrading the warranty to at least 1 year mail-in. For an extra $29 it's a no brainer. You can't easily fix or replace an LCD panel or motherboard in a laptop like you can in a desktop. Also most premium credit cards offer extended warranty for free.
  15. First I'd like to see this in store, I'll probably check the local BB and CC this weekend.
  16. Also the 6000 offers an internal Bluetooth card which I wish the 700m had
  17. Wouldn't that be sweet $36.09 - $30 Visa credit card = $6.09 + shipping? That would be a steal of a deal
  18. Please continue discussion in our computers/tech forum.
  19. Ok I'll take your word for it. I was tempted to order this through Amazon.com but no free shipping
  20. [holding back laughter] How about the muffs, are they comfortable? They seem rather large and overbearing.
  21. I haven't read the fine print yet but are existing Skype-Out users eligible for this promo?
  22. This is a very hot deal, for comparison: NewEgg.com sells this for $55 plus $4.99 FedEx shipping. Amazon.com has it listed for $39.94 plus shipping.
  23. I agree with BigBob's post. If it were brand new, I would have odered it already :)
  24. http://www.woot.com/ http://www.woot.com/Images/Sale/Toshiba_TheaterWide_44_in._DLP_HD_Ready_TV-standard.jpg Do these TVs have large TALENs? Buying a TV has become a game of inches. In cosmic terms, twenty inches is nothing: a microbe in a cow pasture, a nick on the face of Hoover Dam. Way smaller, even. But when you sit down in front of the tube to cheer on State U in the Transglobal Mutual Insurance Bowl, twenty inches makes all the difference - especially the way the networks cram the screen with microscopic statistics these days. How are you supposed to really understand the action if you miss out on vital information like State U's third-down conversion rate on FieldTurf during the rain in months ending in "-uary"? You simply cannot. Don't take that chance. Don't pinch the inches. This Toshiba 44" TheaterWide DLP TV utilizes the frankly mindblowing Toshiba Advanced Light Engine (TALEN), a proprietary thingamajig using advanced optics and the step-up Texas Instruments HD2+ DLP chip to create unprecedented picture quality. Every Ford truck commercial will send you fleeing in terror, convinced that a huge pickup and/or Toby Keith is about to run you down. If you're more of a little-picture guy, the Dual Tuner Multi-Window Picture Outside Picture (POP) can display two pictures of equal size side by side, or up to 12 windows all at once. Here's the catch: before you buy one, go to your "My Account" page and fill in your phone number. Not only do the delivery guys need it to drop off your TV, but we were thinking it'd be fun if maybe we could, you know, give you a call and get together for drinks sometime or something. It's hard meeting new people, especially good-looking, fascinating people like you who also own an awesome 44" TV. Warranty info: Toshiba provides a 90-day in-home service warranty covering parts and labor. The nationwide toll free number for service is 800-631-3811; they will direct you to the nearest service center. Delivery timetable: Due to the size of this item, it will be shipped by truck and delivery will take 10-15 days. A phone number is required by the trucking company in order to schedule delivery.
