  1. Actually such a device does exist, you want to look for Tivo Basic. The hard to find Toshiba SD-H400 offers FREE BASIC TIVO and a DVD Player.
  2. I don't have any experience with PNY flash media but I have used their desktop RAM with no problems.
  3. HDTV LCD or DLP GPS car navigation I agree with the others, keep the Black Friday 2004 posts locked. The last thing we need is hundreds of old threads to be bumped.
  4. "GottaDeal" will never spend those points or even have a use for them :)
  5. Damn I wish I had seen this sooner
  6. That's actually an interesting idea. Admin? No way. Mod for a day or week with limited capabilities? Maybe.
  7. Which color did your friend have? If I bought one, I'd probably get jet black.
  8. I was looking for a cheap 40 or 60GB ideally $19.99 after rebate but they had none in sight. If you don't mind the $50 rebate, it's a pretty killer deal considering the 5 year warranty.
  9. Andy, It's nearly impossible these days to find a hard drive smaller than 80GB, 120GB seems to be the norm. I was at Fry's on Monday where they had a Seagate 200GB for $59 after $50 rebates. At least it had a 5 year warranty which is nice. Otherwise keep an eye on NewEgg.com or even try Craigslist where you can get a used HD for cheap
  10. Red stapler? I'm all over that. Need to find my Best Buy rewards zone card though.
  11. That's a good idea. Do your credit cards have nice perks?
  12. I would start saving for holiday shopping right after tax season or summer vacations. That would give you a nice headstart. All it takes is setting aside $50 from each paycheck and budgetting yourself. It's important to leave your holiday fund alone and not touch it though.
  13. Are these even sold at Best Buy B&M stores? We were window shopping at BB in the MP3 player area and I only saw mini and regular iPods.
  14. I'll try this out also, if it works I'll scan the receipt for you guys/gals :)
  15. I miss the old way Like Brad said, here's how to link now: 1) Click the globe, paste the URL link and hit enter 2) You'll see something highlighted, immediately begin typing the text
  16. I would wait for another deal on a 1905FP if you ever see it for $299 or less, BUY BUY BUY!
  17. Bump for a hot deal. Aaron - nicely formatted, thank you :)
  18. Avenger, That's a tough decision but I would be inclined to choose Dell with 17" which offers the best overall value. I haven't heard too many positive reviews about Acer but HP/Compaq and Toshiba are great choices. If you buy from HPShopping.com here are two coupon codes, they aren't worth much but it's better than nothing: $25 off $250 SV3941 expires Sep 30, 2005 $10 off $100 SV5224 expires Dec 31, 2005
  19. pickwickterr, to the forums and what a great first post :) Ross
  20. My wife and I are also using FireFox and don't have this problem.
  21. Great deal and I like your new sig :)
  22. YGPM I'll let you know :)
  23. Pliablemoose, I just transferred an additional 50 GottaPoints to you for posting this Hot Deal. Thank you :)
