I make these brownies for every occasion. They work out especially well when you have to bring a dessert to a large gathering. I cut them into small pieces because they are very rich. http://s3.amazonaws.com/gmi-digital-library/fa7086c7-3c14-4faf-855b-3fb421b7a744.jpg Traditional Peanut Butter Truffle Brownies Brownie Base 1box Betty Crocker® fudge brownie mix Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on brownie mix box Filling 1/2 cup butter, softened 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter 2 cups powdered sugar 2 teaspoons milk Topping 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips 1/4 cup butter 1 Heat oven to 350°F. Grease bottom only of 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray or shortening. (For easier cutting, line pan with foil, then grease foil on bottom only of pan.) Make brownies as directed on box. Cool completely. 2 In medium bowl, beat filling ingredients with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Spread mixture evenly over brownie base. 3 In small microwavable bowl, microwave topping ingredients uncovered on High 30 to 60 seconds; stir until smooth. Cool 10 minutes; spread over filling. Refrigerate about 30 minutes or until set. For brownies, cut into 9 rows by 4 rows. Store covered in refrigerator.

I read that review as well, and I would like to point out that the idea behind the calendar is the mini-figures inside, not the container. As I said before, we buy the themed one every year. Legos are expensive, and I don't know of any set that has 24 mini-figures for under $40. They sell individually for $3 and up, so for us it is a deal, and the cool factor. This particular set has the santa yoda, which is exclusive to this set.

Legos does a new advent theme every year. This is the first time we have seen star wars. You could always buy it and then put it away for another year. Once these sell out, they can be difficult to find, and expensive.

I check my cart every morning when I check my email to see what prices have changed. It may sound a little crazy, but it only takes a few seconds and I have saved a lot of money. I also agree with Kim, I bought a lot of lightening deals, but that was only when I was on the computer seeking out the items. I love amazon!

I purchased the majority of my things on Amazon last year. I found I didn't have to wait until bf, they did a lot of pricematching early. I had everything I wanted to purchase added to my cart and waited for the price change notification. I then purchased my items. I got the Nintendo ds in green that was a limited edition for the same price everyone else was selling it for. I am a prime member so my items actually arrived on bf. I plan on shopping on Amazon again this year!

I had a nook, and now I have an Ipad. There really is no comparison because the ipad does so many things other than just read books. I have both the Kindle app and the Nook app on my ipad so I have free books from both places as well as Ibooks. Downloads are very quick, and I love the 3G on my Ipad.

What is the difference between the itunes and the ibookstore cards? The ibookstore says you can use it to buy apps, so can you not buy apps on itunes?

I agree, I just cancelled our babysitter for Friday. I was able to do 95% of my shopping on amazon. My DH wants a shopvac at home depot, and that is the only thing we (I mean he) will have to leave the house for! :)

It really depends on the games, not necessarily the system. Some of the games require reading, and I found my 6 year old would have to ask what it said. Also, if they are responsible enough to take care of it ... not dropping it etc.
