  1. I ordered hello kitty watches last year. They are great quality and I had no problems with them. The only thing to keep in mind is that shipping takes a really long time, I don't know if you will get them in time for christmas.
  2. That depends on what you need them for. Are you just looking for something to keep your hands warm while you drive, clean your car off etc, or will you be doing outdoor sports like skiing, snowmachining etc? If you do not need them for sports, you can find winter gloves pretty much anywhere. Kohls, Shopko, Fleet Farm is where we buy ours, especially for the kids. If you need something for longer periods of time, then you should go to rei, a sports related store like Dick's or even a local ski shop. You will spend more at these stores, but they will most likely be better quality and have a temperature rating. I know our costco had reasonable gloves too, and we bought some for a backup. My kids lose gloves constantly! :)
  3. Ok, that makes sense now. I was trying to figure out what they would be waiting in line for until midnight or whenever they open. :) It is right next to Best Buy, so it was just weird!
  4. There are about 50 in line at the Best Buy near me, and 3 in line at Michael's crafts. What is on sale at Michael's to line up for? I have to recheck that ad!
  5. I just got back from ON an I got $14 shirts for $48.00. I was able to get an extra 10% off by using my old navy card too. The best part is my receipt says I saved $155.04. My store had few people, no line and LOTS to choose from as far as sizes and colors. I think I am done with Old Navy for a while now. :)
  6. I am going to go today to get some long-sleeved tees. I am hoping it is both knits and dress shirts. Did anyone check by chance? I will be sure to follow-up later today.
  7. I just got back and purchased 3 sweaters for $35. I am very happy with my purchases, I went at 11:30 and then waited to checkout at noon. There were probably 30 people or so in line behind me. The gal that checked me out said yesterday people were there at 9 for the coats and it was a mad house. I am glad I avoided that craziness.
  8. I didn't make it today for coats, but I am going to try tomorrow for sweaters. My Old navy can be a bit on the crazy side, so I hope it isn't too bad. I am glad everyone got such great deals today!
  9. I didn't even think about that. It will be pretty stinky if there are few choices!
  10. The shopko here is always open on thanksgiving. I think they have shorter hours, but they give out pumpkin pies or some kind of gift with purchase.
  11. I just received this email: OLD NAVY'S EARLY BIRD EXTRAVAGANZA for our best customers! Thanks to Lukesmom
  12. Anyone think the next one is a scooter or a bike? My DS asked for a pogo stick, that would be a fun ride to school!
  13. The toysrus bf ad has them for buy 1 get 2 free. That is a great deal, but they open at 9!
  14. My DH was laid off on Tuesday. For Christmas I would like for him to find a new job, and if he doesn't find a job, I would at least like affordable health insurance until he finds one. Our list has changed a lot this week.
  15. That was my exact thought. I hope amazon price matches this game, and the batman arkham 360 game. I almost paid more than $50 for the batman game this week when amazon had it on sale. It looks like I will be parked at my computer on Thanksgiving. Now I am excited to see the other ads!
  16. I think it sounds like a fun thing to do. If anything, it might provide for a little "down" time away from the crowds if you just need a break. I little snack and a some refreshments are always a good thing! I wonder if they have valet parking? If not, how will they keep your parking spot for you?
  17. Amazon has the shark for $33.80, not a huge difference, but perhaps it will go lower. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005FYEAJ8/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=&seller= http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31quYxQWW2L._SL500_AA300_.jpg Air Swimmer Remote Control Inflatable Flying Shark by William Mark 3.6 out of 5 stars See all reviews (47 customer reviews) | Like (163) List Price: $39.99 Price: $33.80 You Save: $6.19 (15%) In Stock.
  18. I just wanted to make sure you saw the woot dod. They have the headphones for $79.99 with $5.00 shipping. They are refurbished, if that is a deal breaker for you. http://www.woot.com/
  19. Ok, I also have Xbox questions. I bought the 250gb holiday bundle. What else do I need (besides games) so that on christmas morning, both ds's can play with minimal set-up? I assume I need to buy another controller, but what are all these headsets and cables for? What are the minimal things I should buy for the batman arkham game? That is the main one my ds11 wants. Thanks for all of your help and suggestions.
  20. That is totally what I thought! That is a huge mistake, unless they will be open all day on thanksgiving!
  21. I agree, midnight on Thursday is technically Wed night/Thursday morning. So are they really remaining open all day on thanksgiving?
  22. My sons are really into transformers. They are always expensive, I think because of the licensing. I HATE it! To answer your question, 2 christmases ago Target lowered the price (I don't remember exactly) but, I do remember it was good enough for me to buy several of them. If you have a shopko near you, they run them at 20% off every once in a while. I do find their regular prices a bit more than target, so be sure to watch that. Other than that, I have no advice. If you find a good deal, please post! Happy Shopping!
  23. One of my favorite things is the people watching. It can get pretty crazy out there!
  24. I don't know what company you work for, but when I worked retail, we were always paid either time and a half or double time depending on the holiday. When I was a manager, that was a different story because I was salaried, but we were offered comp time (sometimes). Also, as much as we want to think bf is a holiday, technically it is not. Whether it starts at midnight for employees or 5 am, it is not considered a holiday. I don't know if I like the midnight start times, I will have to see the ads first.
