  1. Can someone help me compare the Acer at BB for 249 to these at Costco? Costco ACER computers We are looking at a computer for the kids. Nothing fancy, but they are using our dinosaur laptop and a) it's heavy and it's barely surviving these days. I'd like to stay in the 250 range. Any help is much appreciated!
  2. Thanks for the info! Also wondering, about the equipment. Is one better than the other? I don't care about the logos.
  3. We have the same problem with the holders tipping over and with little kids, I'm freaked that the heavy holders will fall on them. No fun. I went the cheap route and bought those 3M hooks that stick to walls and pull off. I hope I'm making sense. I use them for EVERYTHING. I got the large ones for our stocking and they worked really well, pulled off with no damage after the holidays. I also used smaller ones for our door wreath. They work really well.
  4. yah, I think we want RB since we have small kids. I think it would be more fun for us to do as a group. But I'm not really sure what the dif. between RB2 and Beatles version is. You can't really buy RB1 anymore right? FWIW, I love the Beatles, but DH, not so much. He's more of a hard rock guy. Maybe we'll have to get GH too
  5. My parents are asking for wish lists and I'm thinking this could be a great family gift as we already have wii and the kids love using wii music. Now the question is which one? What are the pros/cons of the various versions out there now? Not sure which one is best bang for your buck, equipment included, etc. TIA!
  6. I have a DD3 and DS5. DS5 plays the Diego and Dora games, Cars and Super Mario Galaxy. We also downloaded regular Super Mario Bros and my son LOVES it-- go figure. I just picked up Dance, Dance Revolution, Lego Star Wars, and Animal Crossing for Christmas. They also like Wii Music. I also heard the Princess game was cute, not difficult, but haven't played it yet. Target still has their toy book coupons for $10 off 2 games. Hope that helps!
  7. Nothing much at my store, AND they were out of Monsters Inc. booo! On a side note, there was a large group of Target employees dressed up as Christmas folks-- santa, elves, reindeer, etc. I was told they are doing rounds to make sure everything is totally set up for Christmas. Maybe that's why there really wasn't anything clearanced ANYWHERE. A few %15 things, but that's about it.
  8. Well great. Now what do I do. My MIL who just retired from teacher K, said she never got any real gifts for Christmas and this would be much appreciated. My son's K teacher is looking to retire in a few yeas, so she doesn't need more books, or stuff for the classroom. Plus all the parents and always sending stuff off to class for her. She says she needs XYZ and the next week she gets it. I don't want to load them up with "apple stuff" so I thought this was a thoughtful gift.
  9. Yes. It's basically so you can do a re-order. But they will let you order anything. I love LE!
  10. I told my MIL about the deal, she just retired from teaching and said she was going straight home and ordering one for my nephew's teacher. She thought it was a great idea. They may have lots of totes, but this is a great sturdy bag and a perfect size. My .02.
  11. I really want to get one for myself but a) I am a tote bag addict already and need to stay on budget. (rinse and repeat) need to stay on budget.
  12. not sure if you can sign up via email, but I am a "fan" on facebook and saw it there in my news feed.
  13. I just went back into my email and saw the code in the footer. Same info! So it should work for everyone!
  14. Don't see this already posted, but Lands End is offering small and med. canvas totes for $12 for today only. I also had a free shipping promo emailed to me (you can probably find a code online.) Sweet deal for teachers' gift. Done! Lands End St. Nicks Pick Tote Bags $12
  15. It might! You can use caramels too. The trick is to slowly heat up in the microwave so it's super creamy mixed with the milk.
  16. never had a problem pming on BF. Last year the checker asked if I was done with my Target ad and if she could have it to price match too. LOL
  17. Just checked out the ad and it says 49.99 and under, free item is the lowest priced game.
  18. Question about Target coupons--- can you use more than one per transaction? I haven't tried yet.
  19. @karenkolby My kids help with these all the time. I'm not allowed to bring anything else to gatherings So I stocked up knowing I would need Milky Ways in the near future. We do them as Christmas gifts too. This recipe works best if you use disposable cake pans (13 x 9 I think) These also freeze well, but will totally melt if out in the heat at all. Enjoy!! Memaw’s Milky Way Brownies 1 package chocolate cake mix-- just the mix 2/3 cup evaporated milk (1 small can) 3/4 cup melted butter 1 cup chopped nuts 1-1½ cups chocolate chips 14 oz. Milky Ways, regular or dark (or 11 oz. fun size works too) Preheat oven to 350° . Mix together cake mix, 1/3 cup milk, and butter. Stir in chopped nuts. Pat 1/2 of the batter in a 13x9 inch ungreased pan. Bake for 7 minutes. Remove from oven and cool slightly. Melt, in microwave, the Milky Ways with 1/3 cup milk. Stir until smooth. Pour the Milky Way mixture over the cooked brownie. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the Milky Ways. Drop the remaining batter in chunks into the pan, covering the bottom layer. Bake for 21-23 minutes. Cool and cut into squares. (I always stick mine in the fridge or freezer for a bit)
  20. okay, went back again. I called and they told me it was 50%. Signage was still 30 so I scored everything I needed--- lots to choose from. Used my $1 off coupons and stocked up on Milky Ways for my holiday brownies. Costumes were still 50%.
  21. I'm realizing I made a major mistake. I just checked out signage since I was in a big rush. wonder if it was actually marked in system but not on signs. aaaack! And I can't go back unless I take my two kids. no fun.
