  1. They never said they would offer this latop online, did they?
  2. Well, I had it, but decided against it. I didn't want another Celeron processor. I made it to the last page of the check-out and decided not to. The rebate forms are on the website, a little hard to navigate, but they are there.
  3. I got mine early this morning. It is not much different than the Sony, except no line for the extra $50. The CompUSA one is a Toshiba with an ATI X1200 graphics(not as good), but the rest of the specs look to be about the same(it is sold out online).
  4. I can get it using IE7. No problems.

  6. For those of you wishing to convert this to a dining room table, don't forget to buy a nice table cloth to cover it; your spouse will love you for it.
  7. CC has an Acer laptop(Celeron) and printer for $430 AR($570 shipped). Not bad, but for someone on a budget. Check out the link below: http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/bundleDetail.do?oid=196355&bundleId=15631&c=1&cm_re=111507%203-day%20sale-_-3-_-link
  8. Mmmmmm.......doughnuts.
  9. Who knew? Where are they located?
  10. This is almost as good as my $9.99 BDs that I got last week.
  11. Here is how it works: THERE ARE NO RULES!!! People are out for themselves. If they can get away with it, they will. As long as they get theirs; they don't care how they do it.
  12. I would go with two different tickets. They are probably pre-configured to go out the door. Basically, they will make their money. When the $399 tickets run out, then the $499 tickets will sell out.
  13. Check the Sears forum. They had the same one(I think). Someone talked someone out of it after reading reviews, but a cheap DVD camcorder is better than NO DVD camcorder;) . Other than that, I was disappointed in thier ad. It doesn't look like much of a sale.
  14. Shhhh.....

    Do you hide things?

    Lol!!
  16. It seems to be getting crazier every year. People are in line Thankgiving morning? No thanks. I usually wait until evening AFTER I've eaten and enjoyed my time with my family. Family is more important to me than standing in line with a bunch a yahoos:yuck:.
  17. I think they do tickets also. I don't know what time they hand them out, but the stores have started doing it sooner. BB is handing them out at 3 am.
  18. Yeah,but it's fun!!!!

    Help out a rookie

Yeah, minimum is it. I've seen the ad say 10 laptops minimum and have 30(The people further down the line were excited). But I would think a lot of the 'geeks'(like myself) would snatch those 500GBs quickly at that price.
  20. I've never had a problem with their rebates. I used to 'live' on them. The problem with rebates is most people forget to do them in time or they don't make copies and track it.
  21. I love 'A Christmas Story'! I plan on buying the High-Def DVD version this year. We will watch it several times before Christmas.
  22. The last time I stood in line at BB, I got there around 1 am. It was a brand new BB and I don't think a lot of people realized it was open. My sister lived around the corner and said it was all clear at 11:30PM. So I got ready and drove out there and met her husband. we were 10 and 11 in line. We had a great(freezing) night. The manager came by around 2 am with donuts and coffee. A group of people, about 20 people back, brought a small grill and cooked out and stayed warm. The line got long around 4:00 am. They handed out tickets around 4:30. We could have whatever we wanted, just as long as it was one of each item. I was there for a camcorder and laptop and got both.
