  1. Step by Step Instructions for sending a payment via paypal, yes you send $ to email address. Per post above here's how to enter address if it doesn't come up automatically. "FYI: When I used Paypal's "Send Money" link I noticed that Paypal doesn't recognize the money being sent as a payment for "merchandise/goods" and it says "shipping not required". Underneath "shipping not required" there is a link that says "change". Clicking on that link will let you select your shipping address. This is most likely why some orders are going through without a shipping address."
  2. Interesting. I've never had to go to Kohls on BF always get stuff online, wonder what it'll be like.
  3. cartwheel is another subset of Target coupons you can register and either use from smart phone or print and take to store. the target ones appear to be no longer available and I couldnt find a pdf online either
  4. hmmm, I should see how I'm doing on blank DVD's, might still have plenty from several years ago though. I will definitely be getting the cds if available online, the older generation love their cd's.
  5. I love Christmas Vacation but love the old Rudolph/Frosty cartoons too
  6. You have to watch for certain stores whose website stock isn't kept up to date, I'm sure others can chime in on who they are. BF has turned into an all week thing for me between catching Amazon deals and being up whenever each stores deals go live. I don't think I've been stung by the backordered then cancelled issue but I think BB had some issues last year or the year before as did Target on some item they had a misprint on but were going to honor via web only. I have all but given up on Walmarts website (until well after I've returned from BF shopping) after the fiasco of not being able to log into my account then eventually logging in only to have cart emptied then restock it only for multiples to show up and then disappear altogether when I tried to login again no more than a couple minutes later with the "remember me option selected. I've had pretty good luck with BB, RadioShack and Target online. GOOD TIPS for BF Web Shopping: Have an established account for each site you might purchase from Know your login info Ensure your Credit Card is up to date Make sure your address is up to date If it all possible write down item numbers and bookmark the pages for each if available beforehand- some ads have them And finally, if you plan to go nuts, notify your Credit Card company so you're not the poor sod stuck (in line) processing a fraud call wasting your and everyone else's time.
  7. If you check last years ad list many stores had them at 10% off. Best Buy, Radio Shack and HH Gregg included. Target had them for 179.99 but I have no idea what the regular price was. Keep in mind with Target you get an extra 5% off with their redcard.
  8. Keeping it simple, I try to avoid Thanksgiving for many reasons. Hopefully this year with a new niece ,that will be only days old, I will be afforded the luxury without having to feel like I've let people down.
  9. Here's a site that lists the pro's/cons side by side The best explanation I could find from 2011 thread is this from Nirvana4all: regular e-reader/kindle/nook/etc - reads pages from book, really mostly only good for reading books. tablet - about size of e-reader, has more power, can access apps, run webpages well, can play some games netbook - tablet with a full keyboard, more power, more ability to run programs, games, surf internet. laptop - netbook with a DVD or blu-ray drive, able to run any programs, web pages, games for the most part you want to throw at it depending on the price level you go for. and again in a separate thread: As you move from smartphone to tablet to netbook to laptop, at around the same price point you trade size and portability for ease of use and functional abilities. Netbooks don't have built in DVD/Blu-ray players, but are lighter, longer lasting battery, and easier to carry/pack.
  10. seems kind of silly...they should have gone with 6pm
  11. I always find it amusing how everyone is so into stockings on here. I don't know if it's because we live in Miami and have nowhere to hang the stocking (other than gingerly on the wall hooks) or if my family JUST never really bothered with them but stockings are mostly for decoration in our house. sometimes an occasional russell stover chocolate or piece of jewelry finds itself in one and then we get prompted to "LOOK in the stocking".
  12. And me..I think I'm going for full smart phone and the 4 takes amazing pictures
  13. We seem to get them all: the bargain hunters, the tweens out "just because", ALL the college kids (in and out of town-ers), etc. It's a mess for sure but I wouldn't swap the weather for anything else.
  14. Not sure about Verizon stores as such but I think several other stores had good discounts for new/contract renewals. Might be time consuming though if you have other things to get. P.S. If you get your phone from any store other than the carrier directly then you're locked into a contract with them too usually. A coworker just wound up something like $1000 out of pocket because she swapped carriers while still within her contract and then didn't like the new service so switched to something else. She was not best pleased.
  15. If I'm not asleep I'll join. coworker had strep and was out for about a week and now I feel fatigued and my throat feels like its closed up but I did get my flu shot on Thursday,
  16. Lol...3.8ct would be kinda huge no? I'm thinking may stop by (to avoid rebate mailing) or order online the buffet slowcooker 17.99(or close) after rebate
  17. I hadn't noticed it was even here
  18. Well, JCPenney is following Macy's and opening at 8pm on Thanksgiving. "He promised that J.C. Penney's deals will be at least as good as two years ago and will be much better than last year, when Penney gave away buttons tied to a prize giveaway" nice to see they're opening their eyes a little to how bad the chain is doing.... interestingly the article says snowglobes available for 4am....which is at a little odd?

  20. My favorites as a kid were: LiteBrite Spin Art I also remember having tons of Rainbow Brite toys sprites/etc so that must have been big too 34
  21. I may research this some this weekend only because we have the complete set and my aunt has a complete set from my grandma's hand me downs but I'm not holding out much hope or putting up a fuss. Everyone is entitled to their own hard headedness:)
  22. HF is nowhere near my main shopping area so it would have to be something MUST HAVE at a ridiculously low price to make me go out of my way. I think the earliest my father has ventured out was something like 8am to Home Depot for some poinsettia...and quite frankly we asked him to stop going since he can't pick good plants:P
  23. maybe...but you have a cool avatar so we'll forgive you
  24. looks like a lot of nothing to try and hype themselves. I'll believe it when I see something worthwhile
