all 3 stores still 70% with food at 50%.1 was being boxed up, the father away one was pretty empty other than food and trees so I'm going to have my mom stalk the third store til this weekend for me. I found a motherload of gallon freezer bags. I was iffy about ziploc bags since 15-20 for .89 didn't seem a deal but 36 freezer ones for same price does -

70% in Miami. I was able to pic up glad containers and dog toys plus a few coloring books from dollar spot. ninja turtles, avengers. lisa frank. didn't see the ziplocs:( but not much worth getting this year. We scored lots of gifts last year didn't see anything similar this year. -
I'm hoping they have different phone#'s but I spent over 4 hours waiting on a single call yesterday and from 9am-roughly 8pm trying to get an answer with no luck regarding their shipping deadline promise which isn't being met. Imagine plastering "guaranteed Christmas delivery" on website and then using cheap UPSSurePost (ups to USPS for final delivery) to deliver and chat reps could care less. Per a chat rep I'm contacting UPS now since I can't waste 2 days on the phone with Target for no resolution.

ok...we had ours yesterday and got a mixed bunch. There was a dart board, mini foosball table, a candle burner? (from Walmart BF sale), a set of mason jar mugs, a counting jar, a ney york and company watch, another nice looking watch with a pashmina, a cheap imitation mens perfume set, a talking mini ted plush, a set of playdoh, a mini trivila pursuit game and not sure what else.

I second this. My boss had her son's Beats in her hands but let another lady have them since she needed it for a birthday before Christmas and took the guarantee instead. She was mentioning yesterday how she's going to have to buy them full price this week and return the sale ones since they pushed back her shipping too. I told her to cause a stink on facebook, twitter and email them. Thank goodness for Best Buy having them in stock. She saw the bonus of having color choices at least but I'd be fuming

so my question is....you get 1 free credit report a year with this incident would we be eligible for more? I didn't see anything mentioned in either of the articles I've read. UPDATE: I just got an email with more details. I can't find spoiler option else I'd post in case anyone needs it.

I'm having a tough time with this too. I settled on christmas vacation bluray and candy for my gift and a dreamtones machine and a blanket for a coworker who asked me to shop for him. I don't want to spend money on crap EVEN if it's not mine. I contemplated the as seen on tv parakeet thing since apparently a singing fish was a huge hit years ago so much so it still gets passed around.

the person usually in charge posted elsewhere weeks ago that they couldn't do it this year and have their blessing for someone else to take it on...I guess nobody has.

This year was crazy for me due to being so disorganized and all over the place but overall I liked the new hours. It was nice to be able to be able to scope the Walmart sale setup before sale time and form a game plan. Then we hit Macy's, JCPenney and Target before heading home for a nap before 4am JCPenney snowglobe time. I don't know if stores ordered more than usual or what but I had no issue finding any of the movie discs I wanted even managing to get the LAST copy of the hobbit bluray late on Saturday night at Target after realizing I had missed it previously. Considering how little I planned it worked out surprisingly well with only missing out on some bakeware at Micheal's which was more of a whim than anything. We even got better than BF deals at BJ's when the B1G1F Keebler Townhouse rang up 5.19 each and the coupon discounted 6.99, I should check my lottery ticket

Sorry to thread jack but does anyone know if the promo dvd's/blurays are still ringing up promo price if there's any left?

No corrals here. At our store they explained the line was separate from ticket to avoid crazy people rushing to get items and toppling stuff over like I've seen in so many of the videos today. It annoyed me at the time because we were standing around the sheets and they had the funai tv's in an aisle just across from us and people kept asking to get around me to go stand in front of tv's before WM rep would explain that the line was elsewhere. Overall the local WM was very organized this year and I was able to get everything I wanted and then some. So I'll have a bad back for a few days because of carrying around stuff that I shoudn't......I'll live.

Our Walmart was better organized this year or maybe it seems that way because a) I wasn't alone and they didn't kick people out only to let them back in at sale time. I think we worked it out pretty well walking in w/o cart and going for the hottest item we wanted(sheet sets) and then hot footing it to the area with all the kids clothes and leaving blurays for last. It was a bit of a mission to get to clothing from sheets since WM again insisted on putting items in main corridor leaving space for 1 shopping cart on either side so people coming from opposite sides would just stop cart to cart and look at each other blocking non cart traffic. It seems ridiculous they'd put the larger boxes in the smallest and main aisle of the store on BF but they did improve from last year so maybe I'll just kindly suggest that. I was so lucky with WM I was able to walk in about 1pm today and pickup the wolverine bluray for 3.96 after stupidly leaving my copy Thursday thinking I already had it.

I had ONE and to be honest it was a little ridiculous since it was 30 minutes or so after store opened but I guess they were following fire regulations and I'm getting a free rice cooker out of it so I was patient.

well...it almost let me do site to store for the only thing on my list available online but then denied me. At least I wasn't waiting specifically for their ad.
-
I was just able to get my harmony remote and lots of blurays with a dvd or two thrown in as gifts.

amazon has matched boardwalk empire and many of the spartacus seasons
-
thanks, picked up my galaxy s4 which probably would have been the most time consuming thing in store
-
I tried emailing and chatting to a rep yesterday and voicing my dislike for new format and asking when lists would be available and both directed me to amazons black friday page. I think amazon is just changing everything for the sake of change and is going to realize when the numbers come in and don't compare to previous years sales
-
I'm going to email Amazon and let them know their changes have not been for the better this year. I was able to pick up some blank cds so that's Radio Shack out of my hair on BF at least.
-
Lol...I've bought whole outfits at Macy's for the sale cost of this shirt but it's what he wants At least the BFCARD discount code works on discounted items too so was at least able to throw in a white T (or two, still considering how OVER budget to go) without totally going over budget. I paid 11.86 for both when the regular price is 16.xx and they're on sale for 11.86 each

I deleted an email yesterday from a local Nissan dealer about lease specials for BF
