I tried emailing and chatting to a rep yesterday and voicing my dislike for new format and asking when lists would be available and both directed me to amazons black friday page. I think amazon is just changing everything for the sake of change and is going to realize when the numbers come in and don't compare to previous years sales

I'm going to email Amazon and let them know their changes have not been for the better this year. I was able to pick up some blank cds so that's Radio Shack out of my hair on BF at least.

Lol...I've bought whole outfits at Macy's for the sale cost of this shirt but it's what he wants At least the BFCARD discount code works on discounted items too so was at least able to throw in a white T (or two, still considering how OVER budget to go) without totally going over budget. I paid 11.86 for both when the regular price is 16.xx and they're on sale for 11.86 each

I JUST gave in and placed the order, I figured I'd have to return something anyhow since I had to add an extra item to avoid shipping charges so may as well place a new order altogether if they have a better offer. They seem to offer free return shipping or at store. How does a shirt cost more than a sweater at regular price? O_o

Got mine today. The plastic packaging was a nice touch considering the nasty storms we've been having lately, would've had a soggy shirt otherwise.

Signed up and organized Secret Santa at work and my bright idea of a "wishlist" backfired. The person I got basically listed 3 things at the Gap basically ONLY leaving out the SKU. I see they have an early BF sale now just wondering if anything better will come up? I'm used to my sales and spending $25 (or just over) on 1 piece of clothing makes me feel like a chump (even when I'm saving 50%).

the shoes were online last year. there was actually another sale running on Turkey day so I was able to get 2 pairs of comfy work shoes reg 24.99(or close) for my aunt at less than the cost of 1/2 one pair. The 1st pair rang up sale price, 2nd was free and I found a 10-15% off code on here and combined with shop your way free shipping trial.

BF shirt, a zip up sweater (tie around waist if I get too hot), jeans, good athletic support socks, sneakers. wristlet with credit cards and id, ads with list in the car (store ad comes with me to specific store only), cell phone in pocket and bottles of water in the car. I list items available at multiple stores on my list and then the stores in order of opening time and desire to get items. Once I get something I know is available at multiple stores I cross off other places and eliminate many stores that way. I can't eat for nerves, may pick up a soda if I stop by a machine or target/walgreens/cvs to keep energy up.

why not pick up a couple of movies cheap online BF or otherwise and just do a mix. maybe a christmas/holiday one, a rom com and a blow up movie etc so there's something for everyone.

the points should be instant so if you're placing more than one order you should be fine. If possible read the fine print see if it mentions any time delay. I believe you now need the card/key fob with pin number to redeem the points due to some earlier fraud

I've been totally unreliable for everything lately so I'm out on this one. But I have spread the word plenty and gotten at least 1 new year round member with multiple visitors for good measure.

good advice all around. 1) Know what you want, what a good price is, and what YOU are willing to pay. Don't be suckered in by places like Kohl's/Amazon that offer 50-60% off inflated prices

I agree. I missed out this year between being sick and overwhelmed by work/life but SS was the only "surprise" I got. Otherwise gifts are stuff I bought for myself on BF or through the year.

lol...that's harsh speeddiva. I don't think we're having a tree this year unless I just put up the cheap plastic stuff from target/sears a couple of years ago. The new OLD dog has lost her manners and it seems like I'm going to have to train the humans before I can get the mutts under control.
