  1. I got a couple calendars, a few wall signs and 2 journals but didn't see anything else. I got the valentine sticker boxes (Nina turtles, avengers, star wars) and face mask cards(Nina turtles and avengers) thinking of birthday treat bags. I think walgreens had avengers pencil+card packs. And an insulated star wars cup from Zak very awesome for .30 also got a hello kitty beanie for the same i think.
  2. Valentine's seems to have gone to 90/70 on Saturday. I was able to pick up some cards with pencils or erasers, boxes of stickers for kids bday treat bags, Some foam craft things.a men's sriracha pj, some girls tops Olaf and pink minnie tees, men's tees grey "you stole a pizza my heart", red "do you have a bae or no" and pink "I'm a stud muffin looking for my cupcake", some cupcake liners and a pack of cookie cutters
  3. I found some c9 sports bras at 3.88 today and managed to get some Christmas which they sold to me at 90% off at last store. Other stores wanted to give me 70 off clothes i found. I got Seinfeld and Christmas Story boxers, some juniors sweaters, 2 archer farm keurig packs, 3 archer farms ground coffee, some small cake baking trays, several gift bags, 2 cookie mixes, a handful of dog toys and 2 rawhide canes. The lady who approved it said that all should have been cleared Thursday...
  4. I NEED to thank JesusLuvU for ALL the amazing gifts...We didn't get back home til after 8pm when we then had to wait for my brother to get off his phone to open family gifts so I decided to open a few work gifts and my SS gift. I started with all the little packets and then was very amused when I get to envelope last and it clearly states open last, I was very glad I had NOT torn into it first Pics will follow but I did not want to seem ungreatful because I'm anything BUT. Each of these seemed pretty much perfectly selected for us, dog treats for Trina, toys for Bella, my favorite chocolates, hot cocoa to destress at work, candles to brighten up the house, socks for me to lounge around the house in, socks to wear with with my Christmas outfits for the rest of my visits this weekend and the photography course to top it all off. Who knows, maybe better technique/knowledge combined with my love of animals and patience in watching them could turn into a new much loved career.... I was a little overwhelmed while opening the gifts and the groupon in the Christmas card brought tears to my eyes....Thank you a million times over! We received: The awesome gift box 2 Dog treats (a raw hide and a filled one(peanut butter, I think))- confiscated for Trina 2 Dog squeak toys (blue reindeer and a red light bulb)- confiscated for Bella 2 starbucks drinks (marshmallow hot cocoa and peppermint hot cocoa) 2 DairyMilk Caramello King or Family bars....one of my ALL TIME favorite chocolates 2 delicious candles (sugared pecan and apple cider) 1 pair of Christmas Yorkie socks 1 pair of fuzzy cozy socks (blue with snowman) 1 beautiful Christmas Card (w/ Portuguese on the front-we just emailed our family there or Christmas wishes) 1 Groupon for a photography course- I always wanted to do one but wasn't quite ready when I took as a teen OK, we've got box before open, open with gifts, Bella sulking because I told her to stay away as I opened (she's a little thief), gifts before envelope, gifts with envelope then Trina with rawhide and Bella with Toy.
  5. Personally, i would if there was something worthwhile on sale. Realistically, i can't. The day is full of so many places to be and people to see that there's barely a minute to spare.
  6. Lol. As a scheduler this totally ruined my coworkers request for day off to go shopping nice try buddy, you waited til last minute, know theres no availability and choose not to do during the weekend. .. you can go in the wee hours of the night/morning
  7. Thank thank you SS! I found box while i was FINALLY going through what feels like tons of packages. Not sure how long it's been there so apologies if it's been days. An Extra thank you for the holiday container. It's adorable and stopped me from spoiling my surprise. I have separated to put under tree once it's decorated I will save to open Christmas day since I do most of the shopping and rarely get any surprises. Work decided against our usual SS this year
  8. Label printed, package will be dropped off at UPS tomorrow
  9. Hmmm...looks like it's doable. From targets Faq online: We’ll match the price if you buy a qualifying item at Target, then find the identical item for less at Target.com, select online competitors, or in Target’s or a competitor’s local printed or digital ad. Price matches may be requested at the time of purchase or price adjustments within 14 days of purchase. The full list of online competitors is available online or at Guest Services. Some exclusions apply. Manufacturer coupons will be applied after the price match is made. Target coupons and Cartwheel℠ offers can’t be applied with price match.
  10. it was as of a month ago or so and I haven't heard of any changes
  11. I just placed an order for store pickup and the store is already open until midnight?! is this normal or have we gone into overdrive.
  12. ooh......Brad spoils us, he really does.
  13. With kohls i would try calling/emailing about canceled stuff of showing available in other colors.they're cs is very decent
  14. Wow, the epitome of screw ups. A)they're supposed to open box and show you items b)they're supposed to verify everything on receipt is in box c)they have always asked me for card used at purchase and id.not sure how they got away with that. At least you got what you ordered. On the other hand whoever got your stuff got it for free unless they came back when they realized the error. If cashier didn't put through system they'll show an extra 1 available when it's not.
  15. On gma this morning or news just before they mentioned instore sales were down 1 billion and online sales had increased. http://abcnews.go.com/WNT/video/black-friday-sales-online-sales-skyrocket-35480452
  16. I guess i could have gone to wrong places or in wrong order...but i can most definitely tell you best buy did not have a line around the mall like it usually does and check out took less than 10 min. I didn't get there till maybe 9pm Thursday but previous years its been bad regardless. We were able to park near doors at each store we stopped at and checkout at Walmart was less than 5 min which is less than a regular weekday but we did leave at 1015ish so may have missed the rush. I'm thinking maybe people hit store openings for 1 or 2 items and that boosted numbers.
  17. looks like the only thing cancelled was an order I requested cancelled because it went through as site to store instead of delivery....although 2 blurays seem to NOT have shipped yet
  18. I dislike Kohls cash for many reasons but mainly being if you return anything you bought to earn it you lose a portion regardless of whether or not you used the Kohls cash. Also, anything bought with Kohls cash is returnable minus the amount of Kohls cash applied to it. So keep that in mind when buying anything...the upside is Kohls takes returns however so you could always return w/o receipt but not sure what price they give you in that instance. I try to keep Kohl's cash/any $off coupons purchase separate to anything I might return for that reason, last cashier told me that was no longer the case when I redeemed birthday coupon and was wrong as receipt clearly states amount of Kohls cash applied to each item and "returnable" amount for each item, lesson learned. Kohls cash is combineable however the cash will be applied before any other discount. so say you buy $30 worth of stuff and have $10 kohls cash, bill will come 30-10=20+discount not 30-discount, then $10 kohls cash applied.
  19. Seems like Best Buy dropped the ball on this one. I can't see PayPal getting payment info unless the BB site transmitted it to them. I should go check my old useless email and see if BB or Walmart cancelled anything, not sure why these accts are still associated with old email.
  20. I just got an email about expedia sale: 90% off select hotels every hour Get ready—our Cyber Monday Sale starts tomorrow at 9 a.m. PT! Don’t miss out on 90% off select hotels on the Expedia App. New deals every hour, while supplies last. Terms apply.
  21. for anyone that bought a DSLR, check prices on adorama. I'm returning the one I bought at BJs for same version at Adorama with a printer+paper for several hundred cheaper after rebate+ they offer a 30 day price guarantee it case it goes lower tomorrow.
  22. As per usual, my mother let me know Saturday NIGHT that my brother had mentioned wanting one....I figure they'll be at least as cheap Cyber Monday. everyone has the charge for 89.99ish with different cashback amounts available here or there. I'm hoping target price will hold/lower and cashback will increase to take advantage of 5% with card Not sure what all the rage is. I have a cheap UP band, bought it for 24.99 when I started my weight loss mission. It helps keep track of steps/sleep and when combined with calorie tracker up (I use "my fitness pal") it shows progress. Kids may just want for popularity factor or maybe kids have a competition on steps or something? On its own it won't make a difference but if you're committed to fitness and/or weight loss it helps track stuff. One of these tracks heart rate as well which my cheaper option does not.
  23. not heard of this but would be nice... I really need to start exploring the world again
  24. lol.....no its a seiki, I should have known better but for the price couldn't help myself. As luck would have it the POC started having issues about a week after I tore the box into small pieces and threw into recycling bin. Thankfully, I just called and it seems to be a pretty straight forward replacement through warranty. I just emailed them back with pics requested and copy of the receipt and if need be SquareTrade will cover any return shipping.I finally had time to test it this morning, wanted to make sure it wasn't user error or remote issues etc before calling up and wasting time. If i see a cheap 32" 1080p decent brand will probably snap it up although I could probably just swap the one in spare room to kitchen and then swap for a few days a year when we actually have visitors. Its not like LCD's weigh anything
  25. considering the Prime Day tv is already acting up, I'm thinking new tv for next year or possibly super bowl time...
