  1. Hmm....seems like price wise at least a shark or oreck would be cost effective and durable. Will compare those options and see.maybe kohls has one and i could combine kohls cash and yes rewards towards cost
  2. I've learned it's pointless to deal with Customer Service of any kind at Walmart. We got it though Walmart.com which is "technically" a different store and got it cheaper after cash back incentives. Dad got what he wanted, I saved time and hassle of dealing with stupid people. Problem Solved
  3. What a mess! I'm even more thankful now i had the faith in winning and didn't order. I'd be so pissed they'd be paying me to NOT contact them again. did anyone/EVERYONE take to twitter to expose this mess? I'm sure they'd appreciate that immensely
  4. I got overwhelmed reading reviews then gave up looking on Monday. Seems like everything in any price range has reviews saying it broke within 2 weeks to amazing.i just need to pull the trigger and stop trying to be responsible. A squaretrade warranty should cover most things, right?
  5. Walmart beauty box seems to be a subscription service but they have different makeup sets and stuff for 4.88 https://beautybox.walmart.com/how-it-works/
  6. seems like our store is in the minority then. My father wanted one the floor safes and they had plenty left over but wouldn't give him the sale price on Friday afternoon they even called a manager over and they said the sale had ended and couldnt sell at lower price. I bought it online Saturday for the same price after my mom mentioned the issue .
  7. Congrats, enjoy our new toy
  8. Nope. But ours refused to sell left over merchandise at sale price... so i went online and got cheaper from Walmart.Com with cash back site. Sad thing is i was stood in front of item Thursday night and was told it wasn't needed. Go figure
  9. I know it's probably too late for Bf sales but what's a good, solid-ish,quiet-ish bagless long last vacuum preferably not too expensive. I bought a eureka last year and it broke a few months ago. It's under warranty still but i haven't called because a) life is busy and I'm guessing any shipping/repair involved is going to cost me more than the $39 or so i paid for it and c) that thing was LOUD. i didn't expect too much for a cheap vacuum but less than a year is pitiful. We have tile and pets so I'm staying away from stick options because they'll probably take multiple empties in 1 cleaning
  10. It was fairly quiet and very civilized. Parked pretty close to every store but maybe that's because we weren't there AT opening. We started at jcpenney for snowglobes at 545 then hit macys, best buy, target and 2 walmarts. Then BF morning got to tiger direct about 520 then headed biglots but wound up in Annas linens first because the security at big lots didn't open doors, walked to Joann fabric where time was lost because we ran into bff and helped her pick some stuff for my godsons birthday and then paid for some stuff to get max coupon use. Then off to home Depot, walmart, target and pep boys before rushing home to get to work for 10am.
  11. The snowglobes are awful this year. I'm surprised it still has disney name on their. It looks like a knock off. But the jingle coupons were awesome. Heading out again soon to use last one.
  12. A friend I went to university with ,in the UK, posted about it on Facebook. It sucked I missed it while I was there, but most of the cities listed are known for hooliganism at football matches too so it's not THAT surprising they'd be just as nuts over cheap stuff with the economy the way it is.
  13. I hated those things but a coworker did quite well with them...I don't think I ever got a darn thing with them she kept getting $ off discounts, and then combining with clearance finds but then again she did have her son going from register to register to collect them
  14. Walmart had tons of cancellations on the dvds last year if I remember correctly. I'm still half expecting my stuff to be cancelled and then theyll try to charge for shipping if order goes under 50 with cancellations im sure.

    Website crash

yup...my coworker called me to see if I could fix it:P I tried phone, laptop and mobile app and none worked but it was back up within 30-45 minutes if not less and she was able to get what she needed. I had hoped they would have restocked blurays but no such luck.
  16. I saw they were sold out earlier but figured they were holding stock for actual sale day, guess not which probably means Amazon won't go that low since its no longer available.
  17. I like to peruse a real paper copy..sometimes makes stuff jump out more....Saying that this damn paper is the size of at least 2 regular sunday papers and I haven't opened it yet. Its all adds a tiny sliver of news
  18. a lot of the cheaper dvds were online last year. This year I found them by going through BF sale link mainly. If they're sold out it doesn't show with search..or maybe the search feature is JUST all screwed up. it brings up tons of not applicable things
  19. Totally under prepared. Need to mark off the stuff i got this morning then review newspaper and organize. I'm afraid walmart will be first since i really want the 9.99 blurays but going by last year my walmart already has them on shop for sale. May see when they open And try that. On a different note, just got in from 55 degree weather in miami and my ears are hurting..i now remember why i bought that stupid head wrap At old Navy years ago
  20. Thanks, i had regular bluray on cart for same price so swapped them out. Best buy let me down with lego movie and maleficent not online so got other stuff elsewhere too to save on shipping. Target has titanic at same price. Now to see if my walmart order gets canceled. The lego movie is a lightning deal around 530 today on Amazon with other movies
  21. I'll wait until 6 before venturing to BUY my paper. They've been coming free the last few years but i guess its too cold for delivery person. It's s chilly 55 in Miami today. They do lied about hitting the 40s
  22. Walmart was surprisingly easy this year. Given i had to load items in cart then relog in and move from saved to cart losing a few movies but still a breeze compared to previous years
  23. Now THAT sounds interesting
  24. The soundbar just became available so they're starting to trickle in. TOo bad for them/me if other stuff doesn't come online available i won't be ordering at all from them
  25. Ugh.kohls is awful this year. The original order that was "canceled" then replaced with 20% was shipped. Just included all the details in comedy of errors email reply to customer service. Now I've got more to return and who knows which kohls cash is valid. Interesting they only emailed me 3 codes, i should have questioned it yesterday when online wallet had 4 sets of kohls cash.... but i was too busy to put much thought into it.
