  1. Phone number from a previous years GD thread: 1-800-966-6546 dial 5 for human :)
  2. So I've spent almost an hour on the phone explaining and re-explaining situation to CSR rep and then manager who says I'm the 1st person who called about. Get on your phones ppl!!!! UPDATE: Manager I spoke to (ROBERT) wanted to give me $25 off listed 118 price so I declined and explained advertised 69+10 free credits and as is I'm not receiving credit it would be like paying 35 more. He was kind and offered to include his discount to bring it down to 75.20+tax so I took up the offer as don't think I'll do much better. I placed order he's making notes and will be back to adjust price for me to reflect immediately.Averages to 72.10 each plus tax.
  3. I'll probably miss it due to bff's "friends thanksgiving" dinner but may join later if it's still on.
  4. my godson loves mickey but wasn't impressed with dancestar mickey.
  5. i scanned them and they were 12.xx. regular ones were 9.xx and the kids they were for haven't really been playing with regular ones so decided against them. They had a wire bin full of them though with jingle bells.
  6. Can you please share the recipe?
  7. A big ikea type bag wouldn't be a bad idea but dunno if normal stores would allow them.
  8. :gdclap: Me and my mom definitely need some of those, though I'll still wear mine through the year. The cashier at walgreens yesterday wanted me to be her personal shopping organizer. And when we went back in this morning the cashier asked us what we were getting for pennies today :) One of my mom's bff calls regularly to find out what deals I've got brewing so she can get in on them too. Are the regular shirts same style/thickness?
  9. I bought the pressure cooker in store since was sold out online by the time I decided on it as a gift and was given price after rebate. I didn't get the rebate paperwork and questioned cashier but then looked at paper and realized why nothing printed. Did anyone else's store change the snowglobes around? Our store had them on the 2nd level and no signs or anything, since I woke up and arrived late (4:30) I was totally flabbergasted thinking they'd gotten rid of them. I didn't see anyone with the boxes either but spotted one woman and got the 411. I would have been so sad to have missed the snowglobe.
  10. I only found one 5130 today but will try calling a few further away stores tomorrow morning see if I can get the 2nd one I wanted put on hold. If that doesn't work maybe I'll keep one of the 5120's and try exchanging it in a week or so, need to ask if its regular stock. I really had a mission having anyone check stock today. Over the phone I'd get put through to electronics then hung up on after various hold times and at the store they cleary explained "everything is on the floor". Many thanks to the OP as otherwise I would have 2 5120's and be none the wiser. I know my bff will enjoy hers but really wanted another one for my parents, fingers crossed.
  11. A nice lady at office depot saw me get a grey logitech mouse and let me know they had an assortment of colors a little further up. The cashier at OD asked if I'd found everything and actually followed up and found out the laptop I was considering was still available. I decided against it but it was nice she actually cared and checked stock for me rather than just ask as part of her checkout experience.
  12. I think the box says Netflix doesn't it? If not I guess they're going back but I need a rest now. That'd totally screw up one of my gift ideas:(
  13. Maybe you'll change your mind before next year :) I'm pretty sure I would have felt the same. People just aren't always as nice/considerate as we are or as we hope they would be. While they were entitled to all the tickets they could have repaid the favor from last year or at very least not lied about it. The few times I've been in line early I've never discussed purchases with others. I guess it works both ways cause some folks actually help each other an make lasting friendships.
  14. I've had that too but haven't missed anything because of it yet. They few things I've gotten today was slow confirming it was in my cart too. At first I thought Halo was just popular but an hour later still wasn't at 100% and then started happening loading LD screens.
  15. there is a kindle lightning deal in about an hour
  16. yay...got my pic up...sort of. It's good enough for me :) Think some woman was going to ask me about it but I was running around target (like a headless chicken) looking for a sold out item as I had to ask 4 employees before I got an answer other than look in regular dept for BF doorbuster. Fedex guy was so impressed with my shirt just now.
  17. hot here. think car read 82 when we left but not 100% sure. Hope everyone did ok in the cold.
  18. I love it they have a lightning deal where you save $0.
  19. I finally got the 500-fair chance to get something pop up with waitlist night but missed the museum bluray anyhow .I'm not sure I'd never seen that before.
  20. I didn't see any but wasn't looking either. My target seemed very well stocked. They had whole pallets of psp's (I think, a handlhelp system not DS related) and another with the lego's and princess sets. My mom had picked up the leapfrog counting candles thing in ad and we got around 6am probably.
  21. I woke up with a jump realizing I had not set alarm. It was 3:55, considering I hadn't properly made my BF list as I expected to wake up at 2:45 I panicked printed rough draft list. Ordered 2 bluray players from walmart individually since it gave me some error based on availability, backordered logitech mouse from office depot and ran off with store papers I had separated and folded corners for stuff I wanted. We hit jcpenney 1st for snowglobes, 6 qt pressure cooker and a few gifts for my SS. Then next door to Sears for blanket sleepers, fleece throw and kids slippers. My mother picked up a purse while I dashed up the escalator since 1st throw was wrong one. We tried toysrus for $5 wipes since it was in same mall but as expected they were out. They had lots of santa singamajigs but at 12.xx I left it. I haven't really seen the 2 kids have played with. Then off to target where I was looking for more SS stuff plus kids pj's. They had run out of the scarves that were on sale but it took 3 clueless employees directing me to jewelry before someone with a walkie told they had run out. Then to Office Depot where I picked up the logitech mice, a laptop cooler and contemplated the 549 laptop but decided against it, I don't need something so powerful and for that price should have a bluray player. I risked it back to walmart to try for bluray players, kids pajamas/slippers and $5 bluray selection. We got everything at walmart minus the storage boxes but I can't complain as I picked up quite a few $5 blurays. I don't know if timing had anything to do with it this year, if stores finally got their act together, or maybe thank the economy but it was a breeze. The longest I stood in line anywhere was maybe 5-10 minutes at JCPenney and that was mainly due to incompetence of shopper being served. I managed to get back by 7:30 to pick up lost bluray on amazon along with both batmans. Last year I hit Walmart just before 1 and stood in line for a good 20 minutes to pay. Target had all registers open and one line for both the register in front and those directly behind. We went to express section where they had 3 and item limit and were out within 5 minutes. I chuckled when I saw people buying the princesses sets knowing GD'ers had gotten them cheaper without the hassle. My father left for pepboys and radioshack just after 7:30 not sure how that will go. Stores were organized, quick and generally employees knew where stuff was and were willing to help.
  22. by the time my mother agreed pressure cooker was a good gift it was sold out. Hopefully will have luck at home store tomorrow.
  23. Totally agree about rain-x wiper blades. I let my dad to pep boys and he knows exactly what filters etc he needs. They've always been good to him and made my life easy. Otherwise I'd have to buy the stuff and I'd be clueless and annoyed at spending any time on BF at a parts place. I get to prepare and mail the rebates every year.
  24. I will wear mine tomorrow and will try to remember to get a picture.
  25. bought most of the free or under $2 stuff at walgreens just now. Cashier helped split it up so I could use some of the rewards. There were like 15 transactions between my mom and me. Have bought way too many blu rays and dvd's at amazon along with a pixar book and a talking chuck. Also managed to get receiver, harmony remote and a few more blurays at BB. I'm missing bluray player for my bff and some small things at JCPenney, Sears and Office Depot tomorrow.
