While it isn't pleasant I don't know of any store that matches their own or other websites. I too need to have the FULL ad in order for any store to price match and have had to go back to my car to get missing pages that have nothing to do with item being price matched or the front/back of ad that shows dates because they slipped out of bundle. I look at it as a small price for the convenience of price matching or getting a better deal.

The gift card thing seems to bypass the whole spirit and is basically giving someone $x amount of money just to get it back so as a department we decided against it. Supervisor actually mentioned it earlier but other person didn't respond and I didn't want to pressure her since we'll be jobless come April there's only the 3 of us left. (I'll probably get them each a little something since they've really been very good to me.) On the other end of the spectrum the Supervisor is in on one with management and she commented how stupid it was to even have a wish list as ppl should just pick stuff they think you'd like :)

I never seem to have anything but trouble with BestBuy. I always swear it's my last purchase with them and then cave when I see something cheaper. This time it appears they shipped same BF bluray order twice. They probably charged me twice in the process, they did this to my brother last year with a PS3 and HE had to dispute the charges on his BestBuy card.

We stopped doing Secret Santa at work because people just put down gift cards on want list. Might as well have been exchanging $20 notes.

I think it would be useful information for people that don't know. The toothbrush deal was a great find, It doesn't happen too often but it's worth the mention.

The last order I placed on Friday from work went through fine and the one before then weekend of Thanksgiving was fine too. Sorry

the prices for monday don't seem great but I don't particularly like any of those. BF lightning deals had blurays for $5-9.99 and dvd'd as low as 1.99. I also got some bluray collections for 17.99. I personally try not to pay more than 10.99 for a bluray unless its a favorite and I need ASAP.

dvd or bluray? Haven't you learned the best deals are usually when 1st released :) The most hits comes from a site called bonanza but I'm not familiar with them and for the most part the packaging looks different to what I have but here's what bing came up with anyhow, some even say sealed, new copy.

I couldn't possibly need any of these but if the price is right I'll a few more to my collection or as gifts :)

best buy does price match but I don't think bestbuy.com does.

I did different ones last year but haven't tried this year. We even threw in some Halloween themed ones since it was my nephews 1st Halloween last year :)

I get it where they don't understand english so they keep asking ME to repeat myself. Happened with the helpdesk at work where the guy resorted to instant messaging me. It's all fun to take our jobs but geez at least speak the language.

I don't think I've ever seen a purple tree :) It's lovely. I love Illinoismom's decorating probably because we just do the tree and some stockings IF we do anything.

WOW!!!!! Target really takes the cake on this one. I just received an email to let me know that the 4 blurays I ordered on BF are scheduled for delivery between 12/14 and 12/21. It amazes me that they never mentioned this before. Has it suddenly dawned on them to try and process my order? I expect this from little mom and pop store but a nationwide retailer?

Does the ad have a start time? When I made a return last Saturday at Walmart the girl at CS was complaining about them using the CS registers for midnight sales, I'm wondering if they had some uber secret ones we missed or if they're doing an 8-10 am start instead.

It looks very festive. I like the idea but poinsettia's aren't good for dogs else I would do it. I think its too late to put the fake tree up this weekend and take all the ornaments down.

you just need to click "sale" but I didn't see check to see if code worked since didn't see anything. The code was only good for sale items.

Happy to hear that. I got mine over the weekend with my new receiver but didn't have time to set either up. Hopefully I'll get around to it this weekend and I'll have as much luck as you :)

other order refunded yesterday. I'm checking back now see if theres anything else I can get my mom. UPDATE: cheapest purse is 24.99 and is not pretty

I received one of the two orders, wasn't able to check orders online possibly I never created an account I'm not sure but will look for order confirmations when I get home since it's my moms purse thats missing (same one listed in original post.) That purse and a wallet I had thought about getting are no longer available so maybe it is on backorder?
