  1. Lame.... stuff they have on sale, isn't available locally and not available online.... ugh. LOL
  2. I just got an email from amazon about a one year free cloud thing for something I bought way back on Prime Day. *shurg*
  3. Are you sure? The $15 off is having to have ads on the lock screen. To have the ads removed you kinda remove the sale price of it putting it back to retail price. (not that $40 isn't too bad for a lower end tablet)
  4. What is the status of USB Host? Google comes up with yes/no/yes-with root. That's my primary concern (and resolution)
  5. The Fire Tablet looked interesting, until you have to add another $15 just to remove the ads. The Tab 4 or Tab A or Tab E look more promising now...
  6. The filter feature they added a few months ago is a god-send. No more having to dig through pages on pages of jewelry.
  7. Also keep an eye on Canon rebates, the Pro-100 series goes on sale quite a bit for a fraction of the full price (think the lowest was $75). It's not a full-featured (as in scanner/fax/etc) but it does color pics VERY well.
  8. Well the Grimlock figure was probably the most impressive thing I've seen on sale this entire black friday.
  9. Ya, the external most likely has it's own power supply, not a problem here. I still have a spare usb port or two to use LOL
  10. Ugh... first Target, then Best Buy now Walmart... can't find ANYTHING really worth getting out for. Only thing so far is BB's 4TB portable hard drive for $100.
  11. Wow, BB is usually my first stop, but this year... nothing
  12. They're still putting more watches up!!! UGH stop it!
  13. The 18-55mm f/3.5 II IS len's isn't that bad of a lens, especially given it's price. True, USMs and L's will give you a much better result (faster focusing, better corners, bigger aperture, etc....) but for a hefty price tag. It's a lot better than the old 35-80mm thats for sure!
  14. Well finally got some luck.... the canon Luster 13"x19" 50 sheet paper for $24 instead of $100... and free shipping. Funny... the 4"x6" had a shipping charge of $16 while the massive A3+ didn't LOL
  15. LOL rushed there at 6:30 (I'm not THAT crazy) in case they might be running out. Got there and not a one had sold HA! Well waited in line to get it. Went back to BB a few hours to just look around and still had a tone of them left. I could have waited for the crowds to let up LOL Anyways... what I've seen so far (I've only worked on it for a couple hours now): It's big compared to the 24", but that is kinda-of a downside too, 1920 is a bit too low for 27". A resolution bump up would have helped it. Also it's BRIGHT, I'll have to let it burn in before calibrating it. I do know it'll need to be toned down a lot.
  16. Well this makes no sense: Order SummaryItems: $12.49 Shipping & handling: $16.79 Lightning Deal: -$3.50 Total before tax: $25.78 Estimated tax to be collected: $1.93 Order total: $27.71 $28 for a $8.99 item? $16 bucks to ship it! NO THANKS
  17. Ummm what am I missing? Lightroom 5 was on sale $109 yesterday, today it's part of the "current deal" and it's still $109 Edit: Well anyways 20% off isn't too bad... decided to order it and get it over with LOL
  18. I just noticed something... http://www.amazon.com/b/?node=8048925011 Lightroom 5 is going on sale 12am Nov (PT), that would be midnight tonight. There's nothing about it on the upcoming lighting sales, but some of the others on that page are (like AVG)
  19. The x2 telephoto and .45x wide angle and the filters (except for the CP) are more or less worthless Also don't forget to check out the T4i, the all cross-focus points are a worthy improvement over the T3i. The T5i... no big difference over the T4i. If you go with the Canon loyalty program (as stckciv already mentioned) the cameras are inspected by canon, in fact they're more inspected than brand new cameras (which only a few are inspected [every 10th....etc]). At least this was the case a couple years ago .
  20. No problem, just looking for all my options. I currently have a 23" asus and an aoc. The AOC cannot be color calibrated successfully. It fails at 97% of the dispcalgui profile verification tests. I do like the 27" especially for the price, perhaps give me an excuse to upgrade both to 27" LOL
  21. The E2742V appears to be a TN, there's also a E2742V-BN, but that's TN too. The local BB has a LG 27" IPS monitor on display, I'll check it out, maybe that's the model... I kinda figured out that's the reason. Ohhh look at Dell's ad, the Dell UltraSharp 23" U2312HM is IPS.
  22. Weird, apparently that model, 27EA31V-B, doesn't exist outside BB. Even LG's website doesn't have it. No reviews, no info makes me hesitant about getting it.
  23. Sweet! any info on the LP IPS 27" monitor?
  24. There's also one on the next to last page, Dell UltraSharp 23" U2312HM. It's a IPS, while not as fast as TN, it should produce a better quality, more accurate image.
