Are you sure? The $15 off is having to have ads on the lock screen. To have the ads removed you kinda remove the sale price of it putting it back to retail price. (not that $40 isn't too bad for a lower end tablet)

What is the status of USB Host? Google comes up with yes/no/yes-with root. That's my primary concern (and resolution)

The Fire Tablet looked interesting, until you have to add another $15 just to remove the ads. The Tab 4 or Tab A or Tab E look more promising now...

Also keep an eye on Canon rebates, the Pro-100 series goes on sale quite a bit for a fraction of the full price (think the lowest was $75). It's not a full-featured (as in scanner/fax/etc) but it does color pics VERY well.

The 18-55mm f/3.5 II IS len's isn't that bad of a lens, especially given it's price. True, USMs and L's will give you a much better result (faster focusing, better corners, bigger aperture, etc....) but for a hefty price tag. It's a lot better than the old 35-80mm thats for sure!

Well finally got some luck.... the canon Luster 13"x19" 50 sheet paper for $24 instead of $100... and free shipping. Funny... the 4"x6" had a shipping charge of $16 while the massive A3+ didn't LOL
