I agree, Fire all the way. I got my 10 year old daughter a Fire last year..and we had only 1 accidental purchase AND I even have my Prime set up on the thing. I'm getting my son who is 10 today..lol one this year as well. I purchased the accident protection but have not needed it. With him however, I may need it! I will be buying some sort of cool Nerf type armor for him as well.

I will also say...I have seen Amazon have sales on the refurbished as well. I'm hoping for one before Christmas. But if I have to pay full price for a new one, I will.

Hehe, I played a few Micheal Buble Christmas songs in the house the other day. The kids didn't mind at all!!

I know I'm doing a Kindle Fire again this year for one of my sons..just not sure if I want the original to save a few bucks...or go ahead with the HD. I'll also need a laptop that can handle some gaming...yikes! As for the kids actually making lists or requests, they haven't really yet...I'm sure they will start soon!!

Exactly..have been loading up my Amazon cart over the past few days. I still enjoy heading out and getting little things that I don't NEED..lol just to be in the environment. But Amazon is my major Christmas shopping retailer.

The Skylanders game bundle is a deal..but I would bet anything Amazon matches that..I don't see myself rushing up there..I guess I'll just head up there whenever and peruse. I am not at all impressed...There is not a single thing that I absolutely must have.

Black Friday! I want to put ours up earlier as well..but I don't think hubby will let me. I do want get the lights up earlier for sure..and just not turn them on....that is gonna happen..I'll put my foot down!

I stockpile the gifts and then take a few days to wrap. I sometimes (ok almost always) sweet talk hubby into wrapping the awkward shaped gifts! Lol. This year..today actually..I need to go into my closet and throw away the old rolls of wrapping paper that I have had in there for years. I need new stock!

I've bought a couple things off of Amazon. Hubby bought the little boys used dirt bikes..which I was very concerned about because I kept watching the ads mentioning Christmas..and I didn't want to be stuck with slim pickins'. That's done..one less worry. Kindle Fire has been pre ordered... I need a laptop for the oldest and all the other gifts for EVERYONE. I'm not too worried...I'll pull it all together in the next few weeks. I just keep waiting for the sales to improve the closer we get to Black Friday!

My hubby drinks it, so I buy it for him. Lol, I don't think I've ever tried it....and I don't know that any of the kids have either!
